Corrected for you (Ramires with that run. Oh God...)

Luiz and Hummels are the same type of player, more or less. To make myself clear, let's take this pairs. Terry - Luiz and Hummels - Subotic. Subotic is for Borussia what Terry is for Chelsea. The clear mind. Just defend and that's all. Hummels is for Borussia what Luiz is for Chelsea. He likes to dribble, to drag himself into silly tackles, silly situations etc. Just like Luiz does. I used to think like you, that Hummels is the better of those two, but the truth is Subotic is a bit more composed, a better CB. To bad he has suffered that cruciate ligament tear when he was having the best time of his career. I'd go for Benatia as JT's replacement. My favourite CB in Europe right now.

After many years of long/medium hair, I'm finally getting it cut today. Freaking scared about the outcome. But the funniest thing is that I'm going with a pic of Torres to show that girl how I want my hair do be done. (Sorry for the high res pic, I just don't know how to "spoiler" )

Matic?! Remember the guy? Serbian, 6ft4, DM... We already have that midfielder to do the dirty job, there is no need of Martinez. The Schweini type of player is what Chelsea should look for - Gundogan, Modric, Vidal, Ramsey, Kroos, Yaya etc

Post-season review - Chelsea 2013/14
petre.ispirescu replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Success for me is Jose coming back home. He'll take it from here. I just wonder if those guys blaming Jose in his first season (with a pretty average squad) will have the guts to open this topic in four of five years from now on. -
Summer will answer all your questions, but c'mon mate, you can't really expect a team full of kids to start the next season. Rebuilding is not about that. Just look at City, they barely have any players under the age of 26 in their squad. How do you want to beat them without some players in their 30s to do the dirty job and help the team with their experience?

Man, and Verratti, what a cold-blooded son of a bitch he is. It's simply unbelievable how many times he was about to giving away possesion and still Chelsea did nothing about it. A decent midfield pair would have created at least three or four chances based only on that guy's mistakes. Fuck. He should be thankful they didn't play Barcelona or Bayern, those midfielders would have harassed him big time.
-
Let him play at the 10 role and he'll provide for you, like he did against City, at the Etihad. You are having a go at the wrong guy I think, you forget this is his first season here and my honest opinion is that 90% of what he does is just following Jose's orders. If there are players to blame, I think Ramires, and maybe Oscar (who is supposed to be Chelsea's playmaker) should be at the top of the list

If only he'd been more selfish...

Stabbers, junkies, ex prisoners etc are not true fans. Get over it. It's 2014. Grab your shirt and go to matches.

Congrats to Paris on winning the 1st half of this tie, but in truth it was Chelsea who lost the match, not Paris who won it. Still, three gifts is a lot when you are called Chelsea. David Luiz giving the ball away, then Terry with a howler there, then no one to play the 2nd ball. My oh my... Then it's Cech's fault for the 2nd and the 3rd. And don't tell me that was foul on Matuidi before the 2nd goal. No decent ref in this world would have awarded a free-kick there. David Luiz had two fouls the entire game - 1st on Ibrahimovic, where he didn't even touch him, and 2nd on Matuidi, before the goal. After seeing Paris last night, I'm more than confident Chelsea will go through. But Semi-finals is where the journey will end I'm afraid. Paris is no Champions League material and Chelsea can easily score two at the Bridge. Just don't force Eto'o against Stoke and he'll do the job for us. Ramires will be out, wich is a good thing. Hope Ibrahimovic gets fit in time, would help Chelsea even more. Goal in the first 20 minutes and anything can happen. BTW, pathetic display from the Paris fans, coming here after such a performance from their team. And only 5 minutes after the game is over (maybe they are all living inside Parc des Princes). Thought we're talking to proper Paris fans, but in fact we're having only internet warriors among us. Onwards and upwards!

Fucking Daily Fail and their exclusive stories. Just give this guy a break and let him knock Arsenal out of Champions League you fucking twats.

As much as I like Alex Sandro, I'll take this with a pinch of salt. It's not O Jogo's story, they quote Sports Direct News in their article http://www.ojogo.pt/Futebol/1a_liga/Porto/interior.aspx?content_id=3790890

Barcelona have been given a 14-month transfer ban by Fifa for breaking rules on signing international players under 18. The Catalan club cannot buy or sell players until the summer of 2015 after the world governing body imposed a transfer ban for the next two windows. They have also been fined 450,000 Swiss Francs (£305,000).

You have to be mentally ill to at least think of letting this guy go. Last time I checked, Jose was ok, so I'm kinda calm about this.
-
I'd throw some bids for Ramsey if Arsenal will miss on Champions League football next season tbh. He's been instrumental in their first part of the season. He'd cost some money, but I'd take my chances
-
I expect to see 11 MEN with HUGE balls on Wednesday and some fresh faces into the starting eleven. Matic is a big blow and Chelsea should buy Torres just a one way ticket to Paris. Or maybe convince him to board into a plane bound for China, South Africa or New Zealand. ---------------- Cech ---------------- Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta ------- Ramires Luiz Oscar ------- - Willian ----------------- Hazard - ------------- Demba Ba -------------
-
This "Mourinho got it wrong today" is bullshit IMO. I do agree with all he said after the game and the players should take the blame for this loss. Weeks ago, some of you were wondering how can Eto'o impreove if he scores some goals and then, in the next match, he is benched? Or why Schurrle, after some goals, is benched too? Now Mourinho did you a favour and used a team based on players performance in the previous games. Matic and Luiz for the pivot (worked great against Arsenal), Schurrle and Hazard on the wings, Lamps as the playmaker (10 days rest for him and probably Jose wanted to give Oscar a rest before Paris) and Torres as the CF (Eto'o unavailable). The tactics were right, but there was no passion, no desire, the lads looked uninteresed in this game. Luiz used every opportunity he's had to give the Palace fans something to cheer about with his "long shots", Torres had a -Torres- again, Schurrle looked like he fell off the sky with minutes before the game, Oscar had no impact on the game and Hazard had a quiet game, although he should have burried that one in the 2nd half. You need more than skills to win a league title and after seeing this performance it seems Chelsea's players are not bothered at the thought of finishing behind City and Liverpool.

So why do you miss games then? These guys work their socks off for a week so that you can miss games? Stop missing games mate! You are ruining us! We're out of the title race because of you. I think I'm more pissed at you right now than I'm at Torres.

0-1 at Selhurst Park (a place where Fulham have scored 4, Newcastle have scored 3, Swansea have scored 2, Tottenham, Arsenal and even United have won their games without conceding a single goal) 0-2 at St. James' Park (a place where Hull have scored 3, Sunderland have scored 3, Tottenham 4, Everton 3, Liverpool have scored 2, the likes of West Brom, Southampton, Norwich, Stoke managed to score a goal and Arsenal and City have won their games witout conceding a single goal) 0-1 at Villa Park (a place where every team that visited that place has scored at least a single goal, bar Sunderland and... Chelsea) 2-3 at Britannia (a though place tbh, but a game that should have been done and dusted before the half-time) plus that 0-0 at Old Trafford that, for me, it's the most dissapointing result of this season. That's the story of 13/14. I think this was the game that showed everybody Jose was right when he said about that little horse. Let's be honest guys, you can't compete with the likes of Liverpool and City when Torres leads the line and no central midfielder is able to unlock packed defences. I'm not mad at going out of the title race, as a matter of fact I think this was such a good season, but fuck, it is so frustrating knowing City or Liverpool will win it because you couldn't score/win at grounds where Fulham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Hull, Cardiff, Swansea and United have scored for fun. Seeing Villa winning against Chelsea and then conceding eight from Stoke and United just makes my eyes bleed. Or Cardiff scoring three at The Hawthorns. So frustrating... Fair play to City or Liverpool, may the best team win the title, but they should send that trophy to Cobham for a pic too, Chelsea made their work easier throughout the season.

Here we go boys, FFP is on! PSG on the brink of being expelled from next season’s Champions League. Serious shit going on there, UEFA to make a decision next month.
