You give us Varane and we have a deal Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois chosen by Real Madrid to replace Iker Casillas [AS] Aged 21, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is one already one of the best keepers in the world, despite being yet to get a game at Stamford Bridge. The young Belgian has been on loan at Atletico Madrid since 2011, building his reputation and increasing his value. According to reports in Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid have made contact with Chelsea regarding the future of Thibaut Courtois. Negotiations are underway but Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly a big fan of the young goalkeeper, who he sees as a replacement for Petr Cech. Atletico Madrid are also very interested in signing Courtois on a permanent basis, but may not have the funds to compete with their Madrid neighbours

right hand man in the sporting area? BRING BACK THE DROG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do realize those were clear red card fouls, don't you? What has Uefa to do with Iniesta being such a genius to trigger that superb pass, lazy Monreal to lose his man and Szczesny to foul Robben? Arjen is one of my favourites players and thank God he wasn't injured by Szczesny, that was a reckless challenge and it could have ended with a horror injury.

Edinson Cavani will be a Chelsea player before the World Cup in Brazil starts This is an article from Uruguay based newspaper El Pais "The uruguayan reporter based in London, Álvaro Levrero, informed us that Edinson Cavani will be a Chelsea player at the end of this season, right before the start of the World Cup." £50M the reported fee

Can't blame him on his curent form, he is only playing at 50% of his potential and he is often left for dead in the offensive part of the pitch because of a defensive-minded Azpi at LB (especially in the away games). Every world-class winger needs a solid full-back partner so that he can fulfill his potential - Cristiano has Marcelo, Ribery and Robben have Alaba and Lahm, Reus has Schmelzer etc. Eden is a different player when he has a proper left-back (Ash) to partner him and I can't wait for the next season to see him play alongside Luke Shaw

Makes me nervous just thinking Matic isn't available for Champions League selection and we have this guy to kinda replace him. No more FA Cup and COC so I hope Jose will go for a Luiz-Ramires-Oscar midfield in this Champions League campaign
-
This guy is an enigma - a liability at CB, but a solid DLP. He is the perfect CB for the likes of Barcelona and Bayern and I think his fate will be decided in the summer - keep him to partner Matic in the pivot or sell him and bring a world class defender to replace him in the squad and JT in the starting line-up at the same time.

Mikel 4 votes, Hazard 4 votes, Ramires 1 vote. I must have watched a completely different game I guess... Fair play to City, they were the better team in every aspect of the game, unfortunately we showed no desire for this trophy and tonight we were just sparring partners for them. Not a good week for us, thank God it has finished and we can now move on and start concentrating on our last two trophies we are in for. The fact JT was missing was a HUGE HUGE BLOW, we are "addicted" to him this season, just like we are "addicted" to Luiz playing as defensive midfielder in big games. (I just pray to God that Jose will play David Luiz in the midfield in this Champions League campaign, instead of Mikel)

That's now three goals in two games after his supposed transfer to Chelsea. Scored a couple last week away in Split and another one today against Dragovoljac. 9 goals in 18 appearances this season, highest goalscoring midfielder in Croatia.

Corrected for you, that's the type of player you are talking about - world class attacking, defending, passing, tackling, shooting at the same time (heard they are talking about him as the best modern box-to-box midfielder in some reputable football academies around the world). I agree with you, Ramires is an average midfielder with huge stamina, but he is the type of player Jose loves to have in his team, a true soldier and I'm afraid this compensates for his poor passing, shooting etc. Still, I would not mind Ramires + €25-30M for Vidal, but this won't happen, it is Mikel who will leave this summer rather than Rami.

There's a word here in Romania saying "you're either a horse or a donkey, pick one, you can't be both" referring to those willing to do so many things at once but somehow fail to do so or to those who are irresolute and don't know what path to choose in their life. That's the case here, you can't play both possession football and counter-attacking football at the same time, that would be the perfect football team and we know there is no such thing. We have to stick to a philosophy and that is counter-attacking football. We all love Jose, we all wanted him back and that's because we didn't play our best football in the last years. Now he's back and we're looking just fine, let's support him and his philosophy. Matches like this happen every season, this is the beauty of football, I'd be so fucking bored supporting Barcelona or Bayern de Munich, playing training matches every week against Almeria, Elche and Braunshweig and waiting for the games against Madrid, Borussia and Champions League football to have proper football feelings like, you know, fear of losing, fear of conceding a goal in the dying minutes etc Not the best day at the office for the boys, but fuck the result, let's move on and beat City once again and hope United and Sunderland will save our asses this round.

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling that now Eden is, on a reduced scale of course, what Messi and Ronaldo are for Barcelona and Madrid in terms of what other teams/fans think when playing us. Something like "Fuck, we're playing Chelsea. Fuck no, there's Hazard too. We're screwed..."

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9159254/transfer-news-thiago-silva-would-like-to-see-eden-hazard-at-paris-st-germain Oh Thiago Silva, just shut the fuck up I was watching Monaco - Paris last night broadcasted live by a Romanian TV station and those commentators were talking about Eden to Paris like it was a done deal. I swear, Romanian journos are so amateur when it comes to this occupation, all the breaking news in this country are quotes from sportskeeda, tribalfootball, goal, daily mail etc.

Turn up the lights in here, baby Extra bright, I want y'all to see this (in May )

The Hawthorns + WBA being in the relegation zone right now = the recipe for a difficult game. Awful form indeed, only one win in their last 15 PL games. Two important games coming for us, gotta stick to the best formation -------------Eto'o------------- Hazard----Oscar----Willian --------Matic---Rami--------- Azpi---JT---Cahill--Ivanovic -------------Cech-------------
-
Bluemoon From "we will win 5 nil against Chelsea, no team in this country can cope with us" to moaning like a fucking pussy when you still have Yaya, Silva, Negredo, Dzeko, Navas, Jovetic and some full-backs that can create chances out of nothing.
-
It has been already three hours since the game has ended and I can't get the "Eden Eden Hazard Eden" song out of my head
-
Egyptians in front of their TV before the game
-
One thing is for sure - we will field the best formation against City, so it's this game, or the one against WBA where Jose will rest some important players. I feel it's this one (home game, some important missings for Newcastle etc) ---------------Demba Ba--------------- Andre----------Oscar---------Hazard -----------Mikel-------Lamps---------- Ash-------Luiz--------Cahill------Azpi -----------------Cech------------------- I think Salah will come from the bench in the 2nd half and maybe Kalas will have 15-20 minutes too if we will be two or three goals up.
-
Yo City
-
SPOT ON!
-
I have a feeling Jose will go with --------------Eto'o-------------- Hazard------------------Willian --------------Rami-------------- ------Matic----------Luiz------- Azpi----JT-----Cahill--Ivanovic -------------Cech--------------- and Schurrle, Lamps and Oscar coming in during the game. Solid team with two defensive midfielders (Luiz and Matic) that can pass the ball and initiate the counterattacks, one central midfielder (Rami) to harass Yaya and two pacey wingers.
-
Actually Zabaleta is on seven yellow cards this season, but the rules in EPL differ from the rules in the other leagues in Europe regarding yellow cards and maybe xPetrCechx was a little bit misled by that - In EPL a player is suspended at his 5th and 10th yellow card (no suspension between this numbers), whereas in some other important leagues in Europa you get suspended at your 5th yellow card and then you get an automatic match-ban for every yellow card you receive. So no, Zabaleta and Yaya are not suspended. Only Aguero, Nasri, Milner and Javi Garcia are missing for City.

Mexican media reporting it, but they all quote CaughtOffside.com Heard Trabzonspor sent their medical team to London to asses Demba Ba. £7M the rumoured fee That would mean £5M for Hernandez. He would be a minor upgrade to Demba Ba, but nothing more.
