I rarely read this topic and when I do it I go for a diagonal reading of all this pages. This doesn't mean that I don't know there are guys who like Mou and guys who, let's say, do not agree with his views/attitude/decisions/etc. (especially after a draw, loss, Champions League/FA Cup/Capital One exit) The thing is you can't call yourself a Chelsea fan and at the same time constantly moan about this guy. Moan about THE BOSS. I wonder, how many guys here on this forum have followed Chelsea's games between 2004 and 2006? Every single game, live games, live feelings, live emotions. not Youtube footage or some highlights broadcasted hours after the game in the Sports news, just before the weather report... (I personally missed only 10-12 games, usually when there was an important game, such as United - Liverpool and the Romanian TV station was broadcasting that game, instead of Chelsea's game). I mean if you followed Chelsea back then it's impossible not to have an emotional connection with this guy. He is the boss, he is Mou, he is a proper Chels, he is a Chelsea fan in this world of football. That's why Stamford Bridge will always sign his name. Those guys are going to every Chelsea game for a long time now and they know what Mourinho means for this club. To be honest, even Inter fans respect him more than some "Chelsea fans" here do...

At least Wenger will stay now. Come on Arsenal, ten-year contract for Le Voyeur :eyebrows:
-
 What a moment! Congratulations Atleti!
-
Apparently the Champions League team he was talking about is Monaco.
-
I agree on Arsenal, they will guarantee him a place in the starting line-up, but at the same time I can't see Wenger offering him the same amount of money Chelsea are offering atm. And that aspect will be important for Mandzukic - he is not a youngster anymore, he is 28 and he will be looking for a five-year deal and good money. He knows that's his last chance to a top notch contract, no one will be offering him €6m per annum when he is going to be 30 or 31. As for Atletico, signing a guy who is 28 to be the main CF doesn't sound like the way they are doing business nowadays. Atletico will always be looking for young and proven CFs (Immobile, Damiao the last examples) so that they can cash in big money after some prolific seasons (Torres, Aguero, Falcao, Viero, Diego Costa). Mandzukic will be 29 in 2015, even if he scores 25 goals in La Liga next season, they won't sell him for more than €15m. Money will come first for Mandzukic. Trophies are not something he isn't used to. He is a Champions League winner afterall, every player in this world will think about a long contract and good money when they are near their 30s
-
Rumour is that Chelsea will double his wages in a five-year contract. He will be 33 when his €6m per annum contract will run out. Do you think he is stupid enough to refuse this deal? 1st or 2nd choice, Mourinho will give him plenty of football time. And silverware, too, unlike Arsenal, Napoli, Roma. I don't even think those teams will offer him that kind of money in the first place...

Arturo is a special player and Mourinho should do everything in his power to make this transfer happen. Think about this - Juventus' asking price is around €40m. And they are also interested in Lukaku who will be Mourinho's 3rd choice if Chelsea will sign Diego Costa and Mandzukic. I love Romelu, but if those two arrive here, I think the best for his career is to leave for a team where he can play week-in, week-out. Mourinho won't give him that opportunity, that's for sure. Lukaku plus €20-22m. win-win situation for both clubs.

Oh God, what a miss Kouyate
-
Tielemans and Praet are great prospects, too
-
I'm not his biggest fan, but to be honest a strikeforce of Diego Costa, Mandzukic and [pick a CF] sounds so good. But this has to be a "Mandzukic plus money" deal. He will be 28 in a few days and he should be worth around €20m I guess. Mandzukic plus €15m.
-
I have not watched a lot of him this season, but from what I've heard he is pretty good when attacking, but a mess defensively. And we all what Mourinho will prefer from a player, especially a defender...

I see Sky Sports are linking midfielder Dele Alli (18, MK Dons) with both Chelsea and City. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9311878/transfer-news-manchester-city-and-chelsea-join-the-race-for-mk-dons-star-dele-alli

Spanish journalists are so impressed by his season/stats and they are labeling him as a "todocampista" (a player capable of playing anywhere in midfield). He got a lot of praise throughout the season from the Madrid based newspapers. He is a good player, but I just have a feeling he will choose Madrid over every other team if they really want him. He knows the league, he has settled well in Spain, he has media kissing his arse every day, Modric is already there etc. you know. And the funniest thing is that Sevilla won't be in the position of asking for a ridiculous amount of money as he is in the last year of his contract. I'd say €23-25m will be the amount Sevilla will get for him this summer.

Lew is the new Frank Lampard, not that fucker at Spurs.

My friend who is a ref here texted me and said Cardozo's penalty should have been retaken - the GK isn't allowed to come off the line until the penalty taker hits the ball. He was already one meter out when Cardozo hit that pen haha
-
Mine, too. And he is also ending this season on a high note, superb display in the last two months. From what I know, his contract is due to expire in 2015. Saw some rumours one or two months ago about Mourinho being interested in him and Doumbia (20 goals and 14 assists in 23 matches this season). Wouldn't mind that duo coming here to be honest.
-
Yep 2008-2010 - Chelsea/Blackburn - 1 goal and 2 assists in 30 games. 2010-2014 - Wigan/Werder - 17 goals and 14 assists in 115 games.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I think you are talking about Cekulayevs, or something like that. Man, I remember him like it was yesterday ahahah. I remember betting on the Estonian championship and I was going all in on his team week-in, week-out. Narva it was the team iirc. Over 2.5 goals every week, they were scoring like freaks, that maniac was banging goals for fun haha. There were rumours some Romanian teams were interested in him, but ultimately nothing happened (who else would think about bringing mugs playing in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaidjan etc. if not Romanians? )
-
Clearly Dortmund and Shalke are looking to loan him just to have a good back-up player on their bench. I can't see him picking enough minutes there (see Wallace at Inter, Moses at Liverpool, even Nate in the first half of the season at Forest). Chelsea should look for a loan in England, Championship maybe. Or Derby in the EPL, why not, if they manage to beat QPR. Thorgan Hazard, Bamford for another season, maybe Omeruo.
-
That was because Hoffenheim's strikers (Modeste, Schipplock and Herdling) were unavailable for that game. He had to fill in the CF spot. He is naturally an attacking midfielder that can also play in the pivot.

What is Firmino's image in Brazil mate? What is press/people thinking about him? Is he seen as a one season wonder, or this season is something that everybody was expecting to happen at some time? Back in his Figueirense days - was he some sort of wonderkid? Was anybody expecting that, at some time, Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund will enquire for him? To me he looks like a quality player and, from what I've seen this season, he is the type of player Mourinho enjoys working with - good work-rate, stamina and he always tracks back.

He is the mole at Cobham - Neil Ashton's informer. Oscar ----> Parreira ----> Neil Ashton
