He is a CAM by nature, but he has also played on the wing this season. One thing is for sure - Hamburg's position in Bundesliga does not reflect his talent. He is a technically gifted guy, his passing is very good and he is taking set-pieces like no one else. And I'm not talking only about direct free-kicks. Corners, long free-kicks, he executes them perfectly. Long shots. He has a way of hitting the ball that defies physics, something similar to Cristiano. I don't know very much about his work-rate, stamina etc. but he is a great prospect and there's a big chance of this transfer to actually happen as Hamburg might get relegated this season (playing against Bayern and Mainz in the last two rounds of Bundesliga).

Your dream is in Roman's hands to be honest. If he wants him, he'll get him. The problem is that Chelsea has shown too much respect to Platini and his FFP rules and Roman is a bit afraid of that thing. But as FFP has turned to be a big horse shit, I think Roman could be in for some dandy signings this summer. Every player has a price eventually and, more than that, he comes from Atletico, a team that is forced to listen to offers everytime Chelsea, City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG are knocking at the door. Now, they might play at the same level as those mentioned, but they know they can't cope with those wages Chelsea/Barcelona are offering to Koke, Diego Costa etc. Their best players will eventually leave, just like Kun did, Torres, Falcao, Vieri, De Gea. The same goes for Juventus too. I can't see Vidal at Juventus after this season, to be honest. Juve might be the best club in Italy, but that's it. Their best players will be eager to leave if Chelsea/Real Madrid will come and ask for them. Juventus does not have the power to refuse offers coming from Chelsea, City, Real Madrid, Barcelona. Champions League money, some players leaving, Adidas money, Roman adding some money from his pocket and Chelsea should be in for an entertaining summer (Three world-class signings).

Superb player, but you would ruin him there. He is a proper 10, he can pull the strings from there, you just have to give him that freedom he needs by putting to guys to do the dirty job for him. Just like Cholo did with Thiago and Mario tonight. ___ Koke ___ _Matic Vidal__ As I said, great player, but Barcelona bound, I feel...

French is not my forte, but from what I know "Chelsea n'est pas fait pour jouer au foot" does not mean "Chelsea isn't made to play football". In free translation it means "Chelsea is not made to play with the ball at feet all the time", ie is not a team to have a lot of possession. He says "We are good at counter-attack, a bit like Real did against Bayern" Then he said something like "I am often asked to do everything by my own, and it is not easy". I think he refers to the fact that he is left for dead everytime Chelsea is attacking and Azpi/Cole are staying at the back to much, instead of coming and help him. Can't blame him for that, to be honest, he is always helping the LB, but he never gets the same treatment in exchange...

I'll have nothing but respect for a player that does everything to defend his team's colors and badge. He might not be most elegant CF out there, but at least he is a team player and a warrior and he'll do everything for his coach and his teammates. He is the Mourinho version of a football player - hated by 90% of Planet Earth, but very good at what he does. Of course he'll score against Chelsea if he is given the opportunity - what did you expect him to do? score an own goal or miss that penalty because he knows he is wanted by 70% of Chelsea fans? I wanted him here and now I want him even more.

I have a feeling Jose loves him even more after tonight's game.

Europe's best teams are going to Lisbon. Should be an entertaining Final. Fair play to Atleti, they are a great team, trained by such a passionate coach. It's like seeing Mourinho in his early days again. They were the better team and I hope they will do the double this season. Well, for Chelsea it was good while it lasted. Overall, this was a nice season, filled with some great stories and nights. Jose is back, the team raised the bar again in the EPL and I'm looking forward to the next season. Busy summer coming, I feel. Onwards and upwards!
-
Who's next? Aaron Lennon? Valencia? Kolo Toure? Nacho Monreal? Giroud? Come on fellas, April Fools' Day is long gone... Paulinho? really? From Vidal, Modric, Kroos, Rakitic, Kovacic, and all the names around, to this guy? This has to be a joke. Matic is a hell of a player, an absolute gem. Do we really have to ruin that by partnering him with an average player?! If this is true, I hope Jose sees him as Mikel's replacement. Bench/squad player, nothing more.
-
He'll be like a rabbid wolf that just got out of his cage. He'll tear everything apar.
-
What a bastard, he seemed to be ok with Mourinho's tactics when Jose made him the player he is now. That's what happens when all that fancy football gets to your head and a pussy starts growing between your legs. Wishing the best of luck to the club that threw him like a rotten tooth. Even for less money than they bought him from Chelsea, just to get rid of him. Class act.
-
It's not over till it's over. One game left. You never know. Chelsea goes through and Mou will have to chance to face the monster he created. They can talk whatever they want, but one thing is for sure - this team is Jose's creation and they've beaten Bayern de Munich with some trademark Jose Mourinho counter-attacks.
-
I've been on the Kroos bandwagon for a while, but there are some worrying aspects in his game - his passing is top notch, but God, his pace is ridiculous for a 24-y-o guy. And his work rate, too. Guy seemed to be carrying a trailer every time I've watched him in the last games...
-
And what a buffoon that guy Neuer is. Higuita/Schmeichel wannabe, he has taken the sweeper-keeper role to the lowest level. Pep helped him, too, with that ridiculous high line of defence.
-
1500 combined passes in two games just for the opponent to keep a clean sheet. Guardiola, I think you've just invented the CATALANACCIO

Cech's injury not being a big deal is great news. But Jose has to go with Schwarzer for this game. Between a 80% fit Cech and a 100% fit Schwarzer, who happens to be in superb form, too, I'd go for the latter.
-
Yep, Bayern for me, too. I'll cheer for them tonight. Assuming Chelsea goes through, I'm more affraid of Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Modric, Di Maria than I'm of Ribery (who is totally out of form after that injury), Mandzukic, Robben, Gotze, Kroos, Schewinsteiger. Bayern still a giant, but they are not the same team they used to be with Heynckes. Back then, they were lethal, now Guardiola has made them pass the ball 800 times just to have four clear goal scoring opportunities (I'm talking about games against a top oppositions, not Freiburg or Nurnberg).

http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3794588/title/quartet-involved-in-training John Terry, Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto'o and Petr Cech all trained at Cobham this morning ahead of the second leg of our Champions League semi-final with Atletico Madrid tomorrow. The quartet all strode out to training in front of the assembled media at our training base with the outfield trio of Terry, Hazard and Eto'o involved with the rest of the squad as normal. Cech, meanwhile, began by warming up with the rest of the squad before he and the other goalkeepers separated from the group of outfield players with goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon. Our number one then took part in a drill in isolation.
-
Read it too. This is trending on twitter now. Big time. Apparently it was on Sky Sports News - "Petr Cech, Eden Hazard, John Terry and Samuel Eto'o are all training this morning. The Blues goalkeeper has told us he'll be fit to face Atletico Madrid tomorrow night. More soon from our man at Cobham." Maybe it wasn't a dislocated shoulder afterall?!
-
My thoughts exactly. Jose was as sincere as he could this time - title is gone for Chelsea. And it is. No doubt about that. It's City's to lose now. Fuck this up against Everton and you can crown the Liverpool Scum as champions right after the game at Goodison. Fuck Everton and their Champions League spot. I'd rather have Arsenal on 4th than seeing those bastards winning the thing. I just want a quiet summer and I want Chelsea and Mourinho to pop up in those sick fucks' mind everytime they think about how they missed on this title.
-
They will win it at the Bridge I'm sure. But they have to take those chances. Should have scored at least four today.
-
Charly!! Game on

Poor defending today
