  1. “We don't want to change league,” Kucharski told Polish magazine Pilka Nozna. “Robert knows the Bundesliga and is perfectly fluent in German, so it's a low-risk transfer. But the most important thing is that he is well known in Germany. Robert can become the best paid player in the world while playing in Bundesliga; specifically in Bayern, which is incomparably bigger than Borussia. In Spain his commercial potential would be behind Messi and Ronaldo. In England maybe a bit higher. At City he would earn more on the pitch in the next season, but not much more. But after a year or two at Bayern he can be undisputed number one. “Robert was never respected in Borussia. When we talked about extending his contract and I didn't agree a raise to €2m a year, I was told that we had exuberant expectations. Blaszczykowski and Piszczek's managers apparently agreed to such offers because they were convinced that with just a year of such money they would be set for life in Poland. I didn't check if this story was true, nor did I argue that Robert plays a different position and is younger than both, I just said he'd rather see his future in Monaco - he wants to buy a house there.” Okay this is from directly his agent. WOW, WHAT A FUCKING DICK. Unbelievably disrespectful to Dortmund, JUST WOW. Basically he just confirmed that Lewandowski is a player who want £££ and that he want to be undisputed no1. What a bender, hope Lewan fires this disgraceful person.
  2. And he isn't as fast as Hazard, his game play involves trying to walk past players through skill instead of beating his man through speed like Hazard most of the time. However his shooting is top notch, much better than Hazard. He is more like David Silva and Iniesta I agree, and in 1-2 years he will be better than Mata.
  3. Agreed we won the EL by beating the like of mighty...Basel and Benfica. Who would probably get raped 6-0 if we were Barcelona and maybe even more if we were Bayern. Like I said, City haven't achieved their potential because they had an idiot in charge, now they actually have a very smart manager. They only lost the final to Wigan because of the players didn't want to play for Mancini anymore. I am not trying to achieve anything, I am suggesting you and many other members here take their blue tint glasses off and stop thinking we are the greatest team in the world or that Cavani is a overpriced player who we won't need.
  4. Man City's squad>Chelsea's squad atm so take your blue tint glasses off. It is not a coincidence that they beat us continuously two seasons in a role every time head to head. Now if they get Isco and Cavani, then we will not be able to compete with them for many years seeing they got a great manager now instead of an idiot. Anyway, back to topic on Cavani.
  5. If he was up for sale now PSG, Anzhi, Monaco and others would be prepare to pay that. Are you saying he wasn't worth that when madrid bought him and still haven't all this time? trololololololololololololol. So scoring a goal every game on average is not good enough for that.
  6. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2013/6/15/4432698/edinson-cavani-napoli-chelsea So true
  7. http://eurorivals.net/top-scorers.html And Ronaldo is worth £80m, Cavani is only 4 goals behind him... SO WHY IS HE NOT WORTH £50M?
  8. Doubt it, Ozil who is probably one of the best CAM in the world atm occupies that central role. And I doubt he will agree with rotation like Higuain/Benzema and Isco would want to play all the time too. Look most likely heading for City because of their manager and Nasri can be sold, Silva can play on left or right and he is free in the middle.
  9. But on the other hand, if the headline tomorrow is Chelsea agreed £20m fee for Mario Gomez. Immediately many people would jump in to his defense and start talking up how good he is.
  10. Better than Oscars 100%, wish we had signed him last summer for £18m instead of £25m for Oscars who has been OK.
  11. While we are in for this guy and he is gonna cost around £5-£7m, why not bid a bit more and get Strootman? Practically the same type of player but older and better.
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2342146/Fernando-Torres-I-want-Jose-Mourinho-make-worlds-best-striker-Chelsea-again.html Mean while this flop of a striker is still living in his dreamy world. Maybe if he got 5 years younger...
  13. The only positive thing that will happen if this transfer fail to be completed is that we might sign a new player like Mata like when we missed out on Modric 2 years ago. Even then the chance is not big, 2nd option is unlikely to be better than 1st except in a few case.
  14. I know we can't but the think is this time we actually can and we are about to blow our best chance of getting one of the best striker in the world away. The frustrate thing is we are nearly there, nearly but then the board just gave up when we just need to go that little extra mile. Another annoying this is we can actually afford him and his whole clause but we decide to bid up to 85% then give up when we only to make it 15% more.
  15. Like I mentioned before, we got a lot of money to spend this summer. We are not buying 11 new players, we are buying 1-2 top class players. We got enough youngsters and older experience players to help them, now we need 1-2 world class proven player. You forgot the BPL deal? And shit load of other sponsors which we just signed up recently. And Asia tour soon which will fed us millions of £$. Like I said we only need 1-2 and yes striker and a CDM.
  16. If this happen then I am speechless, we are willing to pay 40m for a promising good CDM but unwilling to pay 20m more for one of the best striker in the world. This is madness.
  17. Our fan's mentality is changing which is not good enough. I bet most of you will still be happy if we don't win the CL or even come close to win them in the next 2-3 years if we continue to win FA Cup each year. Since when did we have this lay back attitude? We always go for the best and if it fail then we settle for second, not we settle for second because we can't get the best. We aren't even trying.
  18. This is not just about improving our team but also it is a statement of intent. Since when do we start to back out of first class players because we can't afford their fee? And because if we don't, some other team out there will probably pay it for him so that mean we are losing out and HE IS NOT OVERPRICED. Base on the market today he is WORTH AT LEAST £40M anyway, so £53m is not even that much overpriced, I understand if he is some unproven player or just a one hit wonder or just play in a shitty league like Hulk last summer. BUT NO, THIS IS ONE OF THE TOP GOAL SCORER IN EUROPE. Behind Messi and Ronaldo and I think Falcao. Well Messi we will never get, same with Ronaldo, Falcao already gone so we are left with the 4th best attacker in Europe, possibly the world atm and we think £50m is overpriced. How much do you think he is worth then? £20m?
  19. No because he is the best top 5 strikers in the world available atm and another opportunity won't come any time soon. The other one(Lewandowski) doesn't want to come here and another one(Falcao) already left. Agreed, they sign the best strikers available, why we make do with their scraps like Higuain, Dzeko, Jovetic, Gomez or whoever is left... And you can't see why we are disappointed....
  20. Spurs close to getting Paulinho, what are we wating for? He is the CDM we have all craved for so long. He even took over Ramires's place in Brazil team.
  21. No but Mourinho wants our business complete within the next 2 weeks.
  22. Some sources said Mourinho want our transfer business COMPLETE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS, does this sound familiar with what Cavani's mum said? Coincidentally, she said his future will be decided in 2 weeks as well. This seem weird but hopefully it means this saga is not over yet, for us anyway.
  23. Yes but the difference is 10M MORE AND HE IS OUR. They don't have a choice anymore because we have activated the clause, we are not in for a bidding war or something. His release clause is £53m which is 63m euros so if we already gone up to 52, might as well make it 11m more to finish this. I am not sure overpaying is the right word, Suarez, Falcao are valued at £50m and Cavani is just as good as them if not better in some area. Why should he be worth less just because he play for Napoli and not Liverpool?
  24. That is not the point, we were so close yet we give up. I am feeling annoyed because we were so close, I could understand if the club refuse to bid more than £25m or something but if we alrady go up to 50m, is there any point saving 10m more?
