By fighting for his place like anyone else, Cavani will have bad games, that is when his chance will come. Of course there are also cup games
-
Then it all get back to the point that he needs to prove himself. Like I said, if he isn't willing to wait or fight for his place, he can go if he likes. A top class player aren't afraid of competition, look at Drogba and how many strikers he had to fought to win his place over the years. Same with Lampard, in 2004 he was still a decent player, no where near world class yet and over the years he proved himself, that is why he is a legend now.
-
Well that is why Rooney wanted to leave this summer...
-
Just because he wants to be no1 doesn't MEAN HE WILL BE. If he want to be no1, he has to be the best we got and if he want to be the best, he need to prove it. So what if he isn't gonna make it here? If Cavani bang in 30 goals for us for the next 5 years I couldn't careless if Lukaku is still a Chelsea player or not. I don't think he will ever be as good as Cavani, well not for 3-4 years anyway. The same actually applies to Mata, Hazard or any other Chelsea players. No amtter how old they are, how much they cost, if there are better players than them willing to play for us and they don't want to fight for their place, they need to go. That is why Torres will probably be sold soon enough even though he costs £50m, he is shit and passed it so he needs to go.
-
That happens every where, even on here and you should know that too...
-
No he has ruined his own career
-
If this happen the forum will explode with a few Cavani haters eating their words
-
So one Lukaku warming the bench is not enough...

Manchester City have reportedly handed Napoli two different offers to consider for striker Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan striker has been increasingly linked in recent weeks with a move away from his Serie A employers this summer, with it seen to be between City and Madrid to take his signature. Reports in Italy suggest that the Premier League club have made the first moves towards the Partenopei, presenting them with two separate offers for the 26-year-old. The first is understood by Mediaset to be a €40m cash bid with Edin Dzeko included to move the other way. The second is believed to be a straight €55m cash offer for the player who has a buyout clause of €63m.
-
40m seem about right, that is as high as I would go though. That was his release clause one year ago and I see no reason why it should have increased one year on.
-
Will cost at least £30m but well worth it.
-
Some fan can't take criticism on our own players
-
Well we could always put Hazard at LB
-
Then he will be sold.
-
Still one of the best CDM available atm
-
Very good player, can do a fine job for us at CDM but he is a cunt and practically ended Ballack's last big tournament hope so he can go fuck himself.
-
Awkward moment when people want Oscar to play CDM.
-
Pretty much warped this up then. He will stay and move to Bayern for free next year, if I was Klopp I would let him rot on the bench like Malouda if he play badly in the first few matches. Good thing for them is that his wages is so low.
-
Isco HAS CONFIRMED that he received offers from Man City and Madrid, will tell us his decision next week. Very Hazard-esque but difference is only 2 instead of 3 ways fight like last year.
-
I know and I think you and many people misunderstood me, I just said Isco got the potential to be as good as Mata if not better EVENTUALLY. I didn't say he is as good right now nor am I underrating Mata, the guy contributed directly in 55 goals for us this season didn't he. Isco is no where even close atm but his got greater potential compare to Mata a few years ago.
-
And Bony, Guidetti of City.
-
Funny thing is it is true...
-
Eventually but not anytime soon. At least 2 years from now.
-
We should be glad Cavani's agent is not like Lewan's. Read his words and be amazed.
