http://www.fifa.com/confederationscup/matches/index.html At the very minimum we must wait at least 10-11 more days, even then Uruguay will probably qualify because they along with Spain will probably finish 1st and 2nd of that group. So this saga will last the whole of this month at least imo.

Best scenario for this case: -Barca buy Torres for £17m -West Ham buy/want to loan Ba -Cavani signs for us for £53m -Lukaku get a lot of chances Everyone happy. From Ba and Torres last season to Cavani and Lukaku this season is just an incredible improvement.
-
Yeah but he just think so though, but Real is his dream club so...they still got a chance of signing him. I hope they bid like £60m for Bale or £50m for Suarez. One of our rival lose their best player and Real run out of cash to sign Cavani. Leave us IN POLE POSITION.
-
Apparently Mario Gomez's agent has said that Gomez's new club will be revealed in the next 10 days or so and he will go to a club where he is first-choice striker. That rule out us and City then because we and them will be rotating him, only Fiorentina and Napoli left. Hopefully it is Napoli because if he comes that mean Cavani is definitely leaving. http://www.itv.com/sport/football/article/2013-06-11/agent-denies-bayern-munich-striker-mario-gomez-has-agreed-to-join-fiorentina/ Here is the source for anyone wondering

Won't join us or any other English clubs as the matter of fact. MU is not Arsenal, they don't sell top class players directly to rivals even if the player requested a move there. Top class player though, can fit in our striker role seamlessly and already got used to BPL but unlikely to happen. Imo we need to go all out for Cavani now, ignore Rooney/Gomez/Lewan or whatever.
-
Non-story, JUST SIGNED A NEW 5 YEARS DEAL and the general manager just came out and said he won't be leaving. Guess he is better rated than Schurrle but still just potential, nothing in the top class bracket yet and would cost at least £15-£20m so turn this off I guess.
-
This is what he do every week though and this is not even his best form, wait until he is on form and see what he is truly capable of. If he end this tournament banging in around 5-6 goals then I think we will pay the clause so hopefully he does that.
-
Exactly, another reason why we should just activate this annoying shitty clause
-
Yeah maybe either way just pay it, if we are gonna offer something that is valued around his release clause £50m or so then might as well just pay it and wrap this shit up before Man City and Madrid blink first.
-
look like they want full on cash, let's just activate the buy out clause and tell Torres to find a new club.
-
And Cavani already said his dream is to play for Madrid
-
Just let this go, we are never going to get him guys. Well not unless we suddenly decide to offer him £300k per week or something. I doubt he even sees us as an attractive option, in his eyes MU, Madrid, Bayern are all superior to us and maybe even Dortmund and he would have a case there. so concentrate our effort/hope on Cavani, he seems to be someone who is actually interested in joining us.
-
Maybe we are co-owning him or something? And the club know something like this is illegal in BPL so they don't announce it to the public. Pretty unlikely but maybe a reason and if it is then we are in big trouble because we will face a heavy fine/ban if found out. Also doubt this got anything to do with Matic, Markovic already said Matic welcomes him to Benfica so doubt he would just leave now.
-
What in your opinion is the best option out of these? Mario Gomez-Cost £15-20m Rooney cost £20-£35m Cavani £45-£53m Lewandowski £25-£30m but probably need a HUGE WAGES OFFER TO CONVINCE because he wants to move to Bayern so unlikely to happen but sitll a possiblity imo Cavani is the best option because even though he costs the most, he is the best out of them(debatable along with Lewan) but Lewandowski doesn't want to come under any circumstance. While his wages probably won't be as much as Rooney too and he is younger than Gomez and Rooney. Who do you think wil be the best fit for our side?
-
All you know is that this time next year Schurrle is our new Hazard, having scored 10 goals and assisted another 10 or something(very unlikely haha) but certainly he won't be too bad. Now what will happen if Mata/Hazard got a serious injury early this season and rule out for 2-3 months? Schurrle could then impress Jose and keep his place in the team permanently and we would then all start to praise him. So give him a chance guys before bashinh/hating on him. Moses, KDB, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Marin for 3 positions, a lot of competition there
-
Well for someone who scored OVER 100 GOALS in 3 years in a row...he got to be a very good finisher, you don't score that much if your finishing is shit(Torres) and so consistent as well. BTW off topic but anyone know how to post video on here? or is that not possible?
-
Would be funny if there is a question like ''Is Torres in your plan?''
-
Or ask some bullshit questions like ''do you want to sign Portugese players?'' and other blah blah blah. Just ask about what area we need to improve, will we make any major signings this summer... IDIOT REPORTERS
-
Yeah can't really blame him though because despite being a pain in the ass, he got every right to be one because it is his player after all, we would have done the same with Mata, Luiz, Hazard...etc And don't worry about the fund mate, we got a lot to spend this summer, the new BPL deal alone generate £50m or so and we have a lot more income from CL, sponsors so again don't worry, we will stil sign 2-3 more players after Cavani if Mourinho wanted us to(As long as they are not incredibly overpriced or impossible to afford like Messi, Ronaldo haha )
-
Loving people who are saying we should get Lewan. HE WANT TO GO TO BAYERN ONLY, HE SAID IT IS HIS 'DREAM' CLUB just to let you know. I would love him here too but it is just not going to happen. Think he will stay at Dortmund for 1 more year then leave for free or join MU/Madrid this summer. He got no interest of joining us so it is about time we stop dreaming about him. As for Cavani, you can't say he doesn't want to be here. He already said we and the BPL are 'interesting', obviously his dream is going to Madrid like 70% of players playing in Europe today. The deal is only being hold up because that idiot president who want his release clause activated or we offered an overpriced exchange like Ramires/Ivan+£40-£50m which he can f*** off with. I think this won't end anytime soon, maybe end of June if Uruguay got knock out early. If worst come then I think we will probably sign Mario Gomez/Dzeko or some sort and settle for it which will be frankly quite annoying but won't be a disaster.
-
Yeah I just grouped my 3 posts altogether in that quote. Fair enough, I am glad it worked out the way it did for him anyway and he is one of my fav player as you can see, I got nothing against him. Wouldn't say he is one of a kind though, plenty like him atm like Mata, Bale, Silva, Ozil, Fabregas...etc but he is one of the best in his position I can guarantee. Anyway, back to Cavani shall we
-
No no no, if this is what going to happen then I am so annoyed with the board, it is just the same old same old. Settle for second best because the best is deem too expensive. You get what you pay for and Cavani will do much better than Gomez here. If this happen and later we sign Hulk for £35-£40m then it will be just...irritating.
-
Di Maria is worth at least £25-£30m himself already, Higuain around £20-£25m at least, Coentrao £15-£20m so that is way too good and not to say cash haha, obviously BS
-
Yeah that is his name haha, I didn't know how to spell it and cba to search so Really? I heard he is quite promising, admit I've never seen him play. Was hoping him to become new Vertonghen for us.
-
Yeah every cloud has a silver lining I suppose
