  1. Believe it or not, sometime actually replacing great players even at the peak of their game is part of the club moving forward. MU had to replace Ronaldo, Rooney stepped up. They had to replace Van Gol, the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha...etc stepped up to fill in his shoes. Arsenal had to do this yearly, Liverpool had to do it when Torres left and Suarez they got. So now it is our turn, Barca and Madrid also do this regularly as well. It is rarely ever the case of a player dominating in a team for most of his career, the likes of Messi, Ronaldo are exceptions, most of the time players no matter how good they are only really have 2-3 years top at a club, the likes of fat Ronaldo, Ibra...etc all left big teams at the peak of their game because things didn't work out for them, and they are still flourshing/were after they left. So there is still hope for Mata, just not at Chelsea as long as Mourinho is still here which he will be because he is one of us.
  2. At the time Rooney only had 2 years left, MU didn't want to sale at any cost, Mata was still part of Mou's plan and was worth more than Rooney based on last season, swap wouldn't make sense then unless they add in something.
  3. Not really sure that is the right word. And like others have said, Mata will need to overcome this adversity if he wants to become a regular here. Remember Terry under Rafa, Lampard under AVB, Drogba under Scolari all endured hardship but eventually triumphed because of their patience. Mata is the same, but if he wants to leave because he is having a tough time and believe he don't need/deserve to have to fight this then he isn't legend material and can leave.
  4. Just realize he is 22 and apparently his wife is expecting their 1st child, wow I always thought he was like 18 turning 19 or something.
  5. Naaa if we could doubt anyone will leave the team now before their contract expires but he will want to go like Kevin, so all Mou is saying is that he can goes if he wants, but we aren't actively trying to sell him.
  6. Nope wouldn't happen, he is not like Rooney, he can't even adapt his role a bit on the wing how do you expect him to become a completely different type of player. He would fit well at teams like Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and better suited to their passing games Just to increase or keep his price the same, he wouldn't come out and say ok he can goes if he wants because then many teams would just low ball us.
  7. The only way that he is gonna stay now is if Mou is sacked, which will not happen/cannot be allowed to. Think we should start thinking about who we will be using his cash on now, my ideal scenario would be straight swap with Diego Costa Yep official now, Mata is done at Chelsea. Thanks for the memory Juan, but your time is up. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2532224/End-Mata-Mourinho-says-Spaniard-leave-Chelsea-furious-reaction-subbed-Southampton.html

  9. There goes any fund for our new signing this Jan, don't think we will sign anyone now, maybe Guarin at a stress. And if we have a bad season or don't win the CL/BPL then in the summer too, no more expensive world class players of course we can sell Luiz and Mata, Kevin and a few other to balance the book.
  10. True and his job isn't to score mainly so yeah I agree. But his finishing is really horrible though, no wonder he got like 20 goals for Donest over like 100-200 games.
  11. Exactly, what ever he thinks keep it to himself, whether he is gay/support Hitler or anything, keep it to himself. That is why many players never comes out with their view or sexuality, they won't survive in nowadays.
  12. I am not saying it is racist or anything but that why even bother doing these type of things in the 1st place, there will be no fire without smoke and he really didn't have to do that. So I am not criticizing him for it but rather his decision to do it. For the 2nd part, no and yes are your answers but then again you could try and see what happens lol
  13. It is pointless banning him because he means no harm but I don't get this shit type of celebrations some how, he didn't just scored the winning goal in the CL final or something, could of just done a normal raising hand celebration but he chose to make it controversial. Fair enough if his mum died like last week and he is attributing to her but nothing of sort happened, this is just pure idiot. Fine him like £100k and warn will be appropriate imo.
  14. Varane+Di Maria+Modric+Alonso(he is out of contract in summer) would be fair deal or £60-£80m cash.
  15. I would rate Kevin B+/A- for his performance last season and he is the worst out of 6. Moses will eventually want to leave as well if he is kept on the bench like Kevin, someone like Kalou would do.
  16. If we draw/lose this we undone all our good works in recent week, just another must win because: 1. It is new year 2. Spurs, Arsenal, Everton and ourselves already beat them 3. Keep the momentum going
  17. 12 goals is the minimum, Suarez scored 19 in 3 months
  18. Big if, like we see this season and unless they are gonna be out for like 1 month each every time they are injured, we don't need to worry.
  19. Unless they offer £35m, impossible to refuse that atm considering his status here. And to be fair 4 were always gonna be enough, especially with every single our mid so fit, hardly anyone ever got injured, it is not like we got RVP type player in the team, world class but always out for some time
  20. Much better yesterday, hope he keeps this up but he won't be in CDM because Jose is anti-Rafa and today was just forced upon him especially with Ramires out, yesterday shown why Cahill will always be ahead of Luiz really unless Luiz changes his game which I doubt he will do.
  21. Very good players for the like of Napoli, Everton, Milan, Inter and maybe even Spurs and Pool. Just never world class really
  22. Maybe part of the reason is because all 3 were GREAT against Liverpool? Dude Messi doesn't score in like 6 matches against us? is he crap too? Pretty sure if we play Barca again and Messi doesn't score, he will still be in top 2 in the world if he continues scoring 40 goals this season.
