Because he is still out from his ankle injury and we don't want injury prone players here
-
LOL? after 1 year...oh dear. It is not like he is setting the world on fire dude relax, he is having a good time but no where near out of this world level like Messi and CR7 to warrant a new contract every 6 months, even Suarez had to wait for his big contract now, while Hazard is already on a big 1 himself
-
He isn't used to player as the target man so as we seen against MU, he will drop back a lot to try and touch the ball. Essentially meaning we got no ST up top, the target man required for our formation to work. So him never playing there is due to tactic and not personal traits at all like he isn't as good as Eto'o or something.

Perfect scenario tomorrow: Newcastle 2-0 Arsenal, Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool. More likely: Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal, Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool and we are pretty much out of the title race unless signing a world class striker in January, after wed the gap between us and City could be like 6 points, impossible to overcome with our current team and form.
-
Cech Ivanovic Terry Cahill Wilian Lampard Mikel Schurrle Oscar Eto'o Hazard ... on fifa career mode wayyy too attacking, Suarez might controlled Luiz again like a 'playstation player' so best to leave him out
-
Yep agreed they were shit teams but then again we struggled ourselves against most of these in Norwich, Villa, Stoke, while only convincingly winning against West Ham who is horribly shit. Also we got some tough games coming up now, Southampton next away too, by this time in 2 weeks we could actually be behind them in the table, unthinkable after that defeat to Newcastle for them at home. Now if Arsenal win tomorrow this Liverpool game is a must win basically.

Yes please http://metro.co.uk/2013/12/27/demba-ba-to-be-used-as-bait-as-chelsea-step-up-their-bid-for-inter-milan-midfielder-fredy-guarin-4243134/

Please actually do and post the email here, would be quite hilarious hehe
-
Some how MU have fluke their way to 3 points behind us, if we lose tomorrow it will be just that while we will be 4 behind City, pretty much isn't catch able with our current team. It is amazing isn't it, 4 weeks ago we were joking about how MU will struggle to finish 6th now they could be in like 3rd in 2 weeks.

That is why it will need to be magical
-
Would be funny after all this shit he gets to start against Liverpool because Torres got mental issue and Ba is even worse, show how far our strikers have fallen.
-
Will be dropped for the Liverpool game because he doesn't track back enough and isn't suited to the parking midfield plan.
-
Just hope for some magical reason Torres plays and have the game of his life then some how broke his leg and rule out for 3 months, making us signing a striker in Jan and spare us from him going on a 15 game scoreless streak again.
-
Willian and Hazard are not as decisive as Ozil, Di Maria and non of them are as fast as Ronaldo, admittedly Hazard is pretty fast but no where near, Schurrle too is too indecisive and often his shooting isn't that good. Oscar is not slow but doesn't exactly have that kind of pace either, but he is the closest thing we got to Ozil bar Mata who Mou clearly doesn't fancy atm. .
-
Kind of agree with you but for the last part, no one is defending Cahill and many people wanted Terry out toward the end of last season. It all happens with time and what these players do with it. For example no one would say a single bad thing about Torres after that City game, but now we all know it is all just a fluke again. Many people are criticizing Luiz atm because he is not playing well and had far more negative periods(playing badly) in the past than good ones. For example I am sure if he scores the winner on Sunday no one would say A SINGLE BAD thing about Luiz even if he scores 2 own goals. The positive always outweigh the negative. But for Luiz, there isn't really positive to talk about. The one main thing that kept some people off his back: his goals have also dried up meaning he hardly contribute to the team atm. That is why even legends like Cole and Lampard are being questioned atm, because they aren't playing well at all. So no matter how consistency or how good a player have been in the past, it is the present that count. That is why all the talk of potential is annoying.
-
Do we? This is Chelsea we are talking about, the Chelsea that signed Torres for £50m instead of Aguero for £38m, the same Chelsea that sign 6 top class attacking midfielders while leaving the team with 3 useless strikers that can't get into the worse teams in the league. So I doubt Chelsea knew what they were doing
-
Sadly if we don't want humiliation I am afraid, that is how far they have progressed and we have regressed.
-
Bought in January but by Real Madrid so no, hope he doesn't
-
Probably yeah unless we pay Costa's £32m release clause and they agree to sell some how/he wants to leave. Should we really rush Martinez and especially his price while in the summer more players will be potentially available for better quality and price?
-
Naaa many people are suggesting in the summer. But Martinez is unproven any where but Porto
-
Agreed, Monaco pay £50m in the summer to have his service for 3 months and risk missing out on the title/CL next season=facepalm, just never gonna happen
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aIMPrUJ81w Lets see after 2 years how much progress he has made, Suarez has certainly made huge progress and now is probably one of the best player in the world. What about Luiz?
-
Wouldn't we all? Actually in fact I doubt we all would have this conversation in anyway if we beat Swansea 4-0 yesterday, even though it was not Jose's fault that Eto'o is a shit striker now and missed 2 clear cut chances. But that is the thing the manager is ultimately being judged on though, for all the great attacking football last season under Klopp, Dortmund eventually won nothing and it will not be remembered in years to come, actually by this summer he could even be leaving the club if they drop out of top 4 and not make the CL(which could be possible if Reus is sold in Jan because of the clause and they already lost like 5 games at home), a year ago it would be unthinkable, life is really unfair on managers as you can see. But I think we should stop talking about Jose now and focus on this massively game. Liverpool is in their best form since 2009 and I fear we might be in for a real hammering if we try to go tow to toe with them unless Jose has a master plan that does not involves parking the bus atm. So just to take the safe way out we might as well do it, no point attempting the risk.

Perfect post, summed up the whole argument in a paragraph.
-
Look like a decent striker that is suitable for teams just like Everton atm, no where near Chelsea quality. Really need to sort this out if he wants to make it here, by his age Aguero was scoring 25-30 goals per season for Madrid, Torres has been captained of his team, Rooney blasting it in for MU weekly. If he wants to be our no1 and eventually one of the best in the world, then now is the time to step up. Atm he just looks sulky without the ball.
