Because he has been managing teams like Malaga, equipvalent of Everton in England. LOL GETTING THEM INTO THE CL is an achievement in the 1st place, let alone winning it. Does everyone have to be winning trophies after trophies like Simione atm to be considered 'good' by you? Basically you are happy with a win no matter what, so even if we score 1 and limit opponents to like 2 shots for the rest of the match and we just stay 10 men in our own half, that would be fine too. Is that what you called entertainment? And lol at the latter post, typical response that is so predictable, you cannot see anything beyond Chelsea.
-
So now you have turned pro-Jose? So basically for you what is wrong with Jose now? or is he the perfect manager atm and cannot do anything else to improve. Yes he is one of the greatest manager in history but even he has faults, everyone does and everyone can improve.
-
If we scored 5 on our own and conceded 3 every match that would be the best thing that ever happened to Chelsea. I can live with that instead of 1-0 grinding win like yesterday. Yes but like I said Malaga was fucked over by the ref in the last second, unless you are saying that conceding that 1st goal of the 2 goals needed were a mistake? But anyway at least City beat Liverpool yesterday(through a bit of luck and ref again), can we do it on Sunday?
-
Release clause £32m, pretty sure WILL have to do that, not might.
-
Dortmund also missed like 2 clear chances of their own in the 2nd leg and overall they deserve to win anyway. They also dominated Madrid in both legs in the group stage. LOL, agreed scoring 6 against both Arsenal, Spurs and beating every single team so far at home this season is down to luck, nothing to do with tactic. Got no idea where you got that from, actually Malaga would have been in the semi last season if not for a last min cock up from ref last season against arguably the best team in CL at the time.
-
You are understanding my CRITIC WRONG, like I said being a good tactician is nothing to do with a good ATTACKING STYLE MANAGER. I am not criticizing Jose personally omg, all I am saying is his attacking aspects are not as good as his defending one. You said he could play any type of game, so that mean he is just about perfect then? But I agree we don't need to debate this anymore, the bigger problem atm is our striker who is doing everything in their power to make us not winning games.
-
Unless a new medicine is being invented which allows human to get younger by 5-10 years
-
Only after they went 1-0 down early on, by then they just knew they had to win or they were out of the CL so not that surprise really, a bit like us against Napoli. But like I said this game will show us if he has changed at all, or the same old scared of superior team mentality still live in him. I hope we go toe to toe with them, but in reality we would be better off defending it deep this 1 and hope we do well on the counter.
-
Of course any team could play better, Sunderland on their can beat Barcelona score a fluke goal and defend 11 behind the ball, will work eventually like it did yesterday at Everton. No you are understanding me wrong about my crtitic of Jose, I AM not saying he is a terrible manager, but just point out that attacking pressing game is just not part of him. For example just because you are a Math genius doesn't make you a great Chemist/Physician as well, so all I am saying is attacking is just not part of him yet, meaning he is not perfect at it. Agreed, Jackson Martinez and Guarin would be good for us.
-
Obviously we will triple mark Suarez, this is Jose here we are talking about, he knows it more than all of us and he will make sure of that. And really even if we made him go terribly quiet, like you already mentioned we will need huge slide of luck to win as in the case of City yesterday and us against some team over the year. I just hope we don't get destroyed here.
-
The Liverpool game will show us THE TRUE JOSE MOURINHO. I expect him to tell the team to park it because he is afraid Liverpool will destroy us, but if he doesn't then it prove he has CHANGED and that Arsenal game was just one of those game that we need to approach differently-like he said himself. But if we park it, we all know he hasn't changed much and all the progress of play transition we tried in the last 2 months are over and he is back to the old days, which mean we need to look at how Roman will respond.
-
Well they should have lost even if Suarez wasn't in the game lol so he is not their only dangerous player. Henderson is being so underrated atm it is unbelievable
-
Try to avoid a loss first mate, can we even do that if we don't park the bus? careful what you wish for man and why wouldn't they? Their team is playing the 2nd best football in the league behind Man City. What they did in the past is irrelevant, they don't think, THEY ARE SHOWING IT ON THE PITCH. Do you really think we will go to City and attempt what they did yesterday? Not a single chance in the world.
-
Oh by not good enough I don't mean the quality of our players but rather the form, come on man lol if we compare quality on paper we would be like 2nd in the league after City and got like 8-9 players better than Liverpool bar striker. Not really, City have shown this form for like more than 10-15 games now, so we know it isn't really just a good period for them. And I am not sure, yesterday even if Aguero was on the pitch would he really have made much of a difference? Liverpool in the 2nd half just kept the ball and kept going forward, City's mid couldn't really close them down to get forward themselves so even if Aguero was playing, he would be pretty much useless in that half unless he kept running back and win the ball for City. But do you really think we should go toe to toe with them? We will get opened up so quick, especially with their lightning attacking and one touch passing. So imo Arsenal approach work better in this game, if we had someone like Martinez here now I would agree we should go toe to toe but we got Jose, who got no idea how to play pressing effectively meaning we would be at a disadvantage against a team with far superior pressing game plan.
-
Yeah straight swap for Higuain wouldn't be too bad I guess, fair deal. Still I would prefer us to sell him to PSG/Barca and get like £35-£40m then in the summer really sign a top class striker like Costa
-
Yeah because we are not good enough, if we try to go toe to toe we will get destroyed, Liverpool ain't Arsenal man, you seen what they did to City yesterday, they should have really won by like 5-3 if ref didn't rule out that Sterling offside and they didn't missed like 5 chances of their own. And this is CITY we are talking about, at home, on the best in the world form.
-
Like I said, they won't as long as we do it, but if we try to play like we did against City 2 months ago we are gonna get fucked real hard. This is probably the only game for the past few months that I would like us to draw 0-0 if possible.
-
On our current form- 3-0 to Liverpool easily especially if they play like this. But if we will probably get a draw if we defend deep enough and limit them from playing quick 1 touch pressing game. Hopefully 0-0.
-
Because everyone know this is Cole's last season for Chelsea
-
Like I said a few days ago, if they are on this form Barca will get battered when they come here. Unless Messi decides to turn on his magic mode that is. Relentless, flowing passing and movement from City, something we can only dream of happening at Chelsea. Imagine City with Hazard instead of Nasri, wow perfection team.
-
At some stage he was believed to be better than Courtois
-
That post was before they scored but yeah I agree I guess. Think we are gonna park it and play really similar to the Arsenal game
-
Amazing match atm, wow the movement from both sides
-
Watch City-Pool atm
