oh, you're sweet!! I finished college quite a while ago (1993) but my alma mater is Purdue University and I have a second bachelor's from UMASS and a Master's from CBU. The thought of going back to school again frightens me! LOL I've lived in Saratoga, NY, Erie, PA, and Greenfield, MA, so I'm fairly familiar with the area.

my favorite show is NCIS, but I also like Law and Order:UK (I think it's called Law and order: London across the pond) and being human (US version, tried to watch UK version and was LOST) right now Psych... for the umpteenth time with my son!! LOL

Friday: teaching chemistry (dean is coming to evaluate me) and then my boy's first tennis match! Saturday: Chickadee has soccer practice and a girls' night out Sunday: grading and hopefully relaxation!!

I say this every timewe play a board/card game because I live with 3 sore losers!! (mind you I only have 2 children!!!)

1. Don't do what your sisters do (I am the baby of 6 girls) 2. Clean your room 3. KERRY JO! (I knew I was in for it!) 4. You aren't going out of the house dressed like that! 5. What time did you get home? (sounds like I was out late a lot but truth is she just didn't have a clue when I got home!)

They are talking about their GCSE exams. My understanding (correct me if I am wrong guys) is that the grades they get determine their course of study and eventually their university placement. It isn't like the ACT or SAT that the US students take for college entrance which are very narrow in scope compared to the GCSE, in my opinion. Not to brag, okay maybe a little, but I scored very high (in the top 15% of all test takers in the last 3 years) on my test for my teaching license (in Science). I did so well they sent me a certificate of excellence!
