Before you tell me I missed it by several months, yesterday was Valentine's day in China so now I get to celebrate it twice a year... kind of like our wedding anniversaries which I also get to celebrate twice a year!

NYC is very expensive compared to other cities but with the value of the dollar so low it is more affordable than it has been in the past to people from other countries

the game is at 8:30 pm local time in Hong Kong, so it will depend on where in Australia you are. You'll need to correct the time for your time zone. BTW it isn't that the countdown clock is wrong, if you are in England it is correct, it doesn't count down correctly if you live outside of BST. I am sure one of the admins can give you the technological reason, if they want.

I loved London when we visited in 2006 but in 5 days I would say we only covered 1/10th of what I wanted to see. It was an amazing vacation, we set out each day and went exploring with no real destination in mind. If you like history, I would recommend the British Museum. I found it amazing. No offense Justin, but you may find that Asia and India are not as remote as you think and that you will get a whole new concept of what a "large" city is! I live in Shanghai and NYC is no where close to it in size!!

Thankfully, Simplified (if you can call it that) Mandarin is mostly straight lines that are on angles. I have looked at traditional characters and I am not up to that challenge. Can anyone explain why ManUnited's away shirt is blue?? I know they have worn a blue shirt while in the US and I have say it irritates me to see them in any shade of blue!!!

I need to add covert affairs to my favorites I am not sure what I will do now that we are in Shanghai... some of my channels are Australian, British, Japanese, Filipino (a religious station no less!!), and several other countries very little from the US (We have ESPN but I think it is Australian or British)

The kids were a little taken back by the sight of a roasted chicken that still had it's head and claws!! And the man filleting fish in the middle of the store!! LOL

I can write with both hands, I am naturally a righty but I broke my right hand when I was 14 and had to write with my left. It is messy but legible. I'll take a pic when I can
