He's got a big decision to make because if he stays here, he can become the best player in Chelsea history, at Real Madrid, he's in Ronaldo' shadow and got pressure to replace a goal every game or he will get some serious stick from them fans, if he manages to do that, it will still only be just acceptable to them, he's never going to break records there or become their new talisman.

Agree 100% I wouldn't push for him to go, for any money to be honest, I do believe the next 4/5 years he can become THE best. Let's just hope it's with us. But all this Neymar talk doesn't make sense, plus they also publicly denied it. PSG signed him last year for £200m or w/e it was, why would they want to sell him, if they couldn't afford it like the speculation makes out, they wouldn't have bought him surely. I just don't see them selling him.

Hazard currently has more of a spotlight than Neymar, he could be a World Cup winner. I do agree though, Hazards profile/character isn't really made for Real. We will see I guess.

This speculation is just bullshit - nobody reputable has posted anything about this recently, I wonder why. We need to face reality guys, looking like Conte stays, Hazard, Courtois, Luiz & Willian leave, maybe even some more idk. THEN we might consider signing someone like Jorginho.

The timing of all this sucks, also with what he's said recently, I think he is just saying that so Chelsea fans don't turn on him, the most important piece of what he said was "Real Madrid know what to do if they want me" I think any indication of concrete interest from Real and he may be off. The only good thing I can see is that he's not throwing his toys out the pram and forcing a move, but as I say, if he was told that real have submitted a bid, things may be completely different behind the scenes. I know it's not nice to think about but realistically, what kind of transfer fee do you think we're talking if we were to sell Hazard, it's a tough one with Mbappe and Neymar going for silly money, will he go for these kind of amounts or more like £100m?

I don't believe any of this speculation to be honest, this Sarri and Jorginho double deal bullshit, that we need to pay £20m for Sarri etc, it's all garbage I know, what's clear, and has been clear since the beginning of 2018 is that our manager isn't motivated for whatever reason and has lost our dressing room, the manager has been making digs at the club, he clearly said on live TV that he don't know if he's going to be here after the FA cup... so they should respond to it and sort it out during the off season, which they have failed to do, it's not all garbage speculation. to top it all off they are just taking the problem in to next season, and you wonder why people are frustrated.

This is not just "every bit of media speculation" i'm not saying they should deny all the potential new signings, this uncertainty ruined our season (or played a big part in it) and its been like this since January. Last time there was speculation about Conte leaving they backed him and gave him a new contract.

I don't agree, you can't throw the blame towards the media. You said that the club hasn't actually said anything about Conte leaving (or staying), this is exactly the problem. Since May, they have let the papers talk all this "nonsense" - I remember when we had the speculation after winning the league, not even to this magnitude but they backed him with a new contract, this time, there is not even a statement.

I also think he will stay, either way I think this is the year we find out for sure. If he wants to stay, he will have to sign a new deal, no way do we allow him to enter the final year. If he wants to leave, the club have to consider decent offers or we will be forced to sell at a lower price next year. What's scaring me is he's having a great world cup, hes at the stage now where people are seeing him as the best in the world, if there's ever a time Real will come for him it's now with Ronaldo going, off this world cup, he is the perfect replacement. We need to show him we mean business and he said himself, he will stay.

It’s nice to see some positive news but it’s not gonna happen

This is so frustrating but as others have said we should just sit back and wait and see what happens , no matter what happens now, it’s a disaster either way really. My thoughts are changing every day lol. It’s looking like Conte stays but if that was the case surely the club would have released a statement with all the speculation going on, it costs them nothing to do that. Maybe it is all a big troll and deep down the club and players know Conte is staying and it’s just so everyone is talking about Chelsea

Being a fan, we're entitled to worry and post here about it - we all want positive news to be fair, the club is at fault for allowing this to happen - while I agree there is a lot of nonsense that gullible people are buying in to, half of it doesn't make any sense and is just click bait... but what is clear, the club need to either back Conte or get rid of him and most of this speculation would be put to bed.

I wasn't saying that Matic came back to haunt us.. but it made them stronger. I agree 40m for Matic was hard to turn down and it was a good move overall. But this time, doing the same again with Willian is just giving Jose the tools he won the league with, Matic and Willian were 2 of our main men that season. Getting 60m for Willian from a rival is not good business in my opinion, name me someone better we could sign for 60m, you think they would sell us Sanchez for 60m?

Realistically I'm thinking it will be Golovin in to partner Kante and then replacing whoever leaves, definitely Willian and possibly Courtois. Also some of the mistakes from last year, drinkwater etc? Let's just hope we don't downgrade any of the players that go out.
