I lose nothing if he signs or not - just pointing out that it's not ludicrous to think it could still change at the last minute.
-
Not really, it's happened before. He can pass a medical and still sign for someone else.
-
Love their announcement video lol - MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
-
This is why we have no chance of signing Jorginho. Statement of fact.
-
No, initially you said that you made a post of "fact" that City were superior and more attractive than Chelsea, as I pointed out, the only thing in there that was fact, was the players made a few statements about being happy to join City. It is not a fact that City are superior to Chelsea in any way at this moment in time.
-
The only thing you said that is fact, is that the players made some statements about how happy they where to join City. They would have made the same statement about Chelsea had they made a higher bid. I think your the one that doesn't recognise reality my friend, all that's happened in the market over recent years is that we where not desperate to overpay on some players and City where, and look at these players now, they are in City starting XI because they were essential and promised 100% play time, here, we would have used them as backups, just because the players made some statements, doesn't mean shit. Then to mock my screen name? wow lol..
-
Itโs bullshit mate, none of what you said is fact, itโs opinion and a few players decided to go to City because they were more desperate to sign these players than we where. Prepared to pay over the odds because they were essential to the style of play. Looks like we are doing the same thing with Jorginho and Sarri. We didnโt desperately need these players like city did. Pep doesnโt offer stability and I can give you examples just like you have that say pep is not so irresistible at all. We have won more than they have but they are a club on the up and we are not?
-
We are offering more wages apparently. We are also potentially pairing him with 2 of the best players in the world Kante and Hazard. No CL football is temporary, as proven over the last decade and more. playimg for pep might be attractive but not over a manager you already know I donโt get it
-
Why so? This makes me laugh, why would every player choose city over us?
-
So whatโs being said now?
-
These players are rare, there's a reason we hijacked the deal and didn't just go for someone else, he will help a great deal with implementing a new system. Credit to the board, we could have tried to save money and gone for someone else but boom, we made a statement!!! Mourinho is now under big pressure in my opinion, the only "top 6" team in the league that are going to sit back on a 1 goal lead against Wolves. So funny with all the crap we get from City fans now, funny they don't remember the path they took to get where they are *cough* Robinho
-
I remember the impact Fabregas had on our team when we first signed him, here's hoping for the same this time around.
-
Yeeeeey, looks like we can finally say it's happening, ADL apparently confirmed Sarri to Chelsea according to Sky.
-
I don't see us paying 60m euro for him that's for sure.
-
In fairness, a lot of the English media are focused on the World Cup but I would still have expected some to be on this story
-
It's clear the rumours are gathering momentum etc but its mostly from Italy, there are not many reputable reports from England. I still can;t see any announcement coming today. Hope i'm proved wrong.
-
I think we need to calm down a little, nothing has happened yet, we've waited weeks and heard nothing, unlikely we are going to see 5 signings and a new manager within a week but got to admit its nice to see some positive news for a change
-
Think of a Fabregas kind of player that has energy and legs to get around the pitch and dig in to tackles.
-
Maybe it's announced as a double deal to mask the actual price we pay for Sarri lol - got to admit, it's very strange, has this happened with a transfer before, player and manager together?
-
Maybe, but do you think that if we couldn't get Sarri, we would have stayed with Conte?
-
It's not done, far from it in my opinion but it is certainly gathering momentum. Massive statement from the club IF we get this done after City were apparently close. Without pissing on the bonfire, do you not think we should get Conte out first lol?
-
Nobody knows, they are just guessing, everyone is saying "tomorrow" or the next 48 hours, each time they are getting more people on the wagon because we all know at some point, something will happen, we just don't know what.
-
Mbappe was brilliant, but so was Hazard
-
He's a perfect Mourinho player, works hard for the team but it also capable of a moment of magic to win a game, though I agree not very often. He is also deadly on counter attacks and set pieces, I wouldn't want to see him playing against us no matter how bad people make him out to be, he is a good player and not as easy to replace as people think.
-
Not a risk we can take, that means he goes into the last year. For sure, this is the year we find out if we have a future with or without Hazard, if we can't convince him to sign he has to be sold or next year we don't have much power to demand high fees.
