well, i watched the scene now multiple times on replay. there was a SLIGHT touch by etoo, but suarez couldnt get to the ball anyways. it wasnt a clear penalty, you can give it but also not. suarez fell like etoo punched him from behind or something like this lol
-
2nd half was sloppy. lost way too easy possession and couldnt really create beside big mistakes from pool. but fuck it. 3 points and a MASSIVE win there. ps: suarez is still the biggest cunt running around a football pitch.
-
great half minus luiz and cole. last 10 mins we kinda lost concentration. have to go out there and score the 3rd one otherweise it will be danvergours. Suarez unvisible, but he only needs 1 good moment...
-
sakho played LB some times at PSG. Think he will take this position. RB is Johnson.
-
it aint no 5-4-1. luiz in the pivot and I think Oscar will play deeper than usual in a 4-2-3-1. will kinda look like a 4-3-3 I think. Dont know why Etoo is playing. Torres is fresher and also faster...Etoo was freaking afwul against Swansea.
-
because defensively he is shit and against Pool we need players who also work in defense. better to bring him on in the 2nd half if needed.
-
i can translate it too: he is basically saying, that he has to get used to the roughness of the PL. some of his opponents could play for a rugby team, he says. that he is putting a lot of extra shift to get some muscles on to be able to defend better and to play better against these sort of players. in Germany the referees would give a free-kick for some of the duels but in the EPL, they let it go through. also he says that Mou is great and he likes him and that he controls the private life of his players, which is OK for Andre.
-
higuain is decent. but nowhere near to spend 40 m on. there are better strikers out there. futhermore he aint the striker Mou prefers (someone who can combine etc). he is just a typical poacher.
-
yeah like Mou controlled him at Inter, didnt he?
-
we wont get him in january. and there wont be an inflated world cup price. he has a release clause.
-
well in terms of the last sentence..if you take this argument, we shouldnt be able to criticisize ANYONE. every football player out there is better than we are and every cocach probably too. thats the sort of argument someone brings up, when he hasnt got other ones or cant discuss properly. Not everybody on this board follows Mourinho blindly and is on his nuts. accept it, its normal. Nearly everybody on here supports Mourinho, but supporting doesnt mean to accept everything blindly.
-
Frank Lampard UK @FrankLampardUK 3m Brendan Rodgers: "I probably wouldn’t be sat here today if it wasn’t for Jose [Mourinho]. He played a huge part in my career." [Mirror] Even though he is coaching the wrong team, Rodgers is a really good dude
-
hopefully the injury wont effect him as much as it did Essien...
-
I would be more afraid of Sterling/Suarez/Coutinho than of Henderson and Allen. @Special Juan well they dominated City at their stadium, so its kinda normal, that people have respect. especially when with Ramries one of our most important players is missing and we have no adequate substitute for him in the squad.
-
Yeah because he trained Villareal for a lot of years, like its possible to win with them anything. he got with them to the CL HF and lost only on penalties. you have no clue about him and thats evident. Well if you dont care about the HOW, than its your thing. I care. change your name to MourinhoIsGodandCandoEverything and go to Mourinho Fanboard. If you only watch football for the winning, well, much fun to you. Of course winning is the most important part, but Abramovich didnt spend tons of millions on players like Hazard and Mata and Co, to park the bus and wait for the coutner-attack. he wanted US to dominate the game. the whole world laughed at our win against Bayern, because they literally raped us in this game and we was lucky not to concede 2 or 3 goals. Of course we as a fans didnt care much, but I think everyone in this board would find it more enjoyable to win the title by playing good and not by mostly luck. B2t: I would be happy with a point in this game tbh. Pool are better than we are at the moment and without Ramires, I cant see us going to attack them without getting exposed. Should take the Arsenal approach and wait for our chances. A loss has to be prevented at any cost.
-
he cant organise a team? look at villareal. they were brilliant. With Real Madrid he had no faith from Perez and Perez wanted to sack him. he wasnt bad at all, considering he had no say in the transfers and had to build a complete new team. Pellegrini is a brilliant coach and everbody who followed the Spanish League knows it. @bushman well look at Madrid...they definetely have the squad to play different than Mou did with them. he couldnt implement any philosophy beside counter-attacking football. he is limited in his tactical approach, as every coach probably is. he is a defensive master and can counter-attack well, but he doesnt knows anything about pressing or organizing an attack when the opponent is sitting deep. @Namika it aint jut to Ronaldo not tracking back. Klopp perfectly used the weaknesses of Madrid (man targeted Xabi, pressed high and played with no fear). futhermore he beat Mourinho even in the group stage. Dortmund was clearly better all around in this meetings. Mou had no clue how to cope with Dortmunds pressing and their tactical approach.
-
he cant play pressing football. he proved it at real madrid. he couldnt press well against teams who sat deep and they depended solely on individual class. the task to play good football and be succesfull at the same time was to big of a task for Mourinho. Also he got completely outclassed by Klopp in terms of tactics especially in the first leg. Mourinho is nearly the best DEFENSIVE tactician, but offensively there are quite some people who are better ( Van Gaal, probably Pep, Heynckes, Pellegrini)
-
well, in terms of january, I think yes. in the summer, everything is possible. he has a release clause (rumoured to be 37 m euros)- if we pay it, they cant do anything. we should not just buy for the sake of it. if nobody is available, wait until the summer. Still thikn that Martinez aint worth 40 m at all. he is nowhere near the likes of Lewandowski, Cavani and Co and even on the same level as Costa atm.
-
what y'all thinking about putting Hazard on the right side this game? Pools weak link today was their left side with Sakho and Cissokho- especially Sakho was horrible and Cissokho way too often out of position. I think Hazard could kill them off on this side, while their right side with Skrtel/Johnson looked much more solid. I think that Willian (who should start) can play as a LW too. My selection would be: ---Brane (would put Azpi there, but Mou wont do this)-- Luiz (important because of his long balls and speed) - Terry- Azpi ----------------------------------------Mikel------------------------------------------------------- Lampard---------------------------------------Oscar (could fill in this role I think and is a hard tackler. Another option would be Luiz and Cahill as a CB. ----Hazard-------------Torres-----------------Willian/Mata (depending on what we want. more creativity or more speed and defending)

delete...double post

ramires miss will be really hard to compensate. maybe we should put Luiz as a DM and continue with the 4-3-3 or we try Oscar in a 4-3-3. Wont be easy to replace Ramires at all. Would be quite happy when we dont lose this game tbh. Pool played great AWAY against City and we are quite bad at the moment. in terms of strikers I dont even know, but I think Torres will start, even though he sucks against Liverpool.
-
if we wanted him, we would have signed him back in the summer. Bs rumour.
-
yeah playing great for 2 seasons in a row is just "pure luck". Cr and Messi are also just lucky
-
well, its unfair to compare the price of nesta/tuhram/rio/thiago/carvalho to Luiz. the market was not as inflated as now and so defenders are more expensive. to spend 20m plus on a defender is kinda normal nowadays and not something special. Also, when we signed Luiz, he was a great prospect but not a finished article like most of the people you named in your list...I think that all around, he is a good transfer and has had alot of great games. he is not there where we want him to be, but he has the potential and the ability. Mourinho isnt trusting him at the moment, so it is now wonder why he isnt flourishing. if a coach has no trust and faith in you, you cant show your best performances. look at Mata. he is a shadow of himself since Mou has arrived. I dont think that all this is just a coincidence. Luiz seems to be a player who is kinda sentimental and needs 100% faith and trust from the coach to show what he is able to do. We shouldnt write him off yet. Dont forget that even Barca wanted him back in the summer, didnt they? he cant be that bad.
