hazard amazing. torres, mata and especially Willian awful. and our defense...no words. Hazard won us this game, without him, we probably would have lost it.

Falcao better at dribbling? what? Lewandowski is amazing at dribbling and far better than Falcao. Dribbling isnt even Falcaos strength. Positioning both are great, dont know how really anyone can say that Falcao is so much better than Lewandowski. Lewandowski ripped Real Madrid a new .. on his own. and Falcao misses big chances often too. Lewandowski is far far better for our play than Falcao. FAlcao depends on his players, while Lewa can create something on his own. his technique, his dribbling and his way of keeping the ball are not comparable to any other striker atm (maybe beside Ibrahimovic). Falcao is great, but Lewa is definetely better for me. And in terms of passing Lewa is much, much better than Falcao. Falcaos first touch at times is freaking horrible and his passing either. Technically I would say Lewa is much better than Falcao, while Falcao is more clinical at finishing. Now you have to decide what you want...either a more clinical striker, who needs players to set him up or someone who can hold the ball, get your players in position and even score goals (maybe not as much). In modern football surely the second type of striker- and also Mou wanted that type of striker in Rooney.

he would suit better than falcao and cavani. he is the perfect striker. ibra is too expensive and only short-term. but smh at people believing in this haha

only two played and arsenal has a much, much harder group than we have, so nothing special. @Barbara well, having a better balanced defense while dont creating ANYTHING isnt much better neither. maybe mata would have taken some pressure of the defense, by contributing more to attack and holding the ball better and spreading it? who knows? you say your argument, that Basel would take his non-existing defensive work-rate as a big advantage as if it is a fact...its just another thesis. maybe they would have, maybe not and we would have got better? I think Mata definetly would have been playing better than the players on the pitch and could have at least created something. I rather lose 1-0 or 2-0 while having chances on my own instead of being embarassed looking at the statistics afterwards...

yeah, frankfurt manager knows it because they have signed his player (rode) too. and surely a german bundesliga manager knows more than all of us in here, doesnt he? you dont get, dont you? BVB WANTED to sell Lewandowski to another club ALREADY in the SUMMER. but he didnt want to leave. he only wants to go to munich and he already made his decision. he will announce it in january. its Bayern Munich, I dont even know why this thread is still open. really everybody knows that he will join Bayern beside some deluded fans in here it seems. Why dont we open a thread "Messi to Chelsea FC"...?
-
frankfurts manager confirmed on sunday that lewandowski will join bayern. people still thinking we could get him ist just pure funny. like the whole last summer. but yeah, dream on
-
until the goal we was bad. after that clearly better, but west ham is awful. oscar MOTM so far.

its simple: we indeed did get what we wanted. mou is a simple counter-attacking coach. get used to it, that if we win this games, we'll win them through individual class and not by game patterns or moves or learned attacking schemes. the team has absolutely no clue how to attack, when we have the ball and the opponent is sitting deep. every chelsea fan in this freaking board was knowing that we lacked a creative DM, who can acutally build-up a play but Jose who was satisfied with his options- his fault. Mou is and probably never will be a coach for the long-term idea. he was talking alot of stuff, like getting in young players etc, changing the game. I cant see ANYTHING of it. just bla bla from Mou. futhermore, thanks to him, Hazard is playing s#it, Mata is playing s#it. so, not only we play as bad as under Benitez, but futhermore two of our best players look destroyed by Mourinho- especially Mata. hopefully we will be able to turn this around or otherwise, we should be happy with a Top 4 spot. we've been laughing at United with Moyes, but if they win tommorow, they'll be 1 point behind us. and that without a good midfield nor a great defense, nor a great coach. thats kinda embarassing. Mou should stop talking and start acting. you talk so much about meritocracy, well, then actually go by it. why is Ivanovic playing as a RB? why is Lampard playing? why is Oscar playing atm? So many questions. And I am afraid of the future. the pressure is immense. everybody thinks Mou will turn us into beasts...in fact, he hasnt got a clue what or how he wants us to play as it seems.
-
RDM is not a coach for a big team like we are. and benitez was just an interim, so he clearly didnt give a f about installing a offensive play. look how napoli is playing though...great football.
-
mourinho doesnt know to build-up an attack. nothing new. everybody knows it. was the same with real madrid (and probably even better players). we should get used to it. the only way we can win this matches is through individualism or mistakes by the opponent. Mou is just a pure counter-attacking coach.
-
well, with mata-oscar-hazard on the pitch we had 3 creative players in the attack and still couldnt create anyhting. schürrle was one of the best players in the 1st half..I think he definetly could play in the starting line-up. he is perfect for mourinhos counter-attacking game. futhermore technically he is really good, dont know how you think he isnt good enough.
-
shit game but good result. willian and oscar both anonymous. etoo didnt do much beside the goal too. mikel/ramires are doing their job quite well. our offensive play is awful though. no idea how to build-up and create chances. the only thing we can is counter-attack atm...which is kinda usual for Mourinho Teams.
-
well to be fair, RW isnt his best position. clearly better in the centre, where he has been playing for Bremen and often for Genk too. he is too slow für the wings in my opinion. still wouldnt write him off, he has loads of potential. I think he is just lacking confidence, which isnt something suprising if you havent been playing for weeks now. mou doesnt trust him, criticized him in public etc. he should build up his confidence instead of f-ing him up.
-
like you expect to create tons of chances at arsenals ground (leader of the table) with a second gear team...
-
he didnt too much in attack either...he was solid, nothing more in my opinion. but far from "killing it"...
-
how is willian killing it? he was on the same level as mata and kdb- average.
-
only concern was hazard...he was totally outdid by zabaleta. still has to learn a lot and is just to inconsistent.
-
2nd half we was lucky, they were better. but well f.. it, happy with the 3 points and very important win.
-
well to be fair, schalke was missing Huntelaar (best striker) and Farfan (probably their best winger). and boateng isnt used playing as a 9. so clearly a mistake by Keller, should have started with Szalai as a striker. hopefully the team can keep it up at home against Schalke. I think winning against Schalke and not losing to Basel and we are through.
-
awful game but a good result. seems like the players are either saving themselves up for city or dont have motivation to play. just walking around the pitch without desire/determination.
-
MOTM is Terry. great game by our skipper. game all in all wasnt good. we only created chances on counter-attacks and they should have scored the 2nd goal. lucky win in the end and Luiz had a terrible night. we need to solve this problem with deep-sitting teams and avoid gifting them goals
-
Result is good but the game wasnt good at all. cardiff could have (should have) scored before the 2-1 and we would have a different game now....still cant play against deep sitting teams and have no clue how to crack them up
-
we have absolutely no clue how to attack when the opposition sits deep. typical mourinho-team atm. only can attack via counter or by individualism. we need to learn some pattersn and moves how to tear up deep sitting teams.
-
yeah lets just change the DM, the 3 players behind the striker and the striker himself...it aint like we have to win this, nah we are in a comfortable situation and can lose points without problems dont get why people want to see Essien that much. he is a nice guy yes, but he is past it. would either give KDB the spot in the pivot than Essien.
-
great performance and important win. but we also have to admit that Steaua was awful. seems that without the two players they have sold they look completely lost and play like a different team. were much better last year in the EL. now two important games against schalke. if we win both, I think we are through to the 1/16
