good player, but wont get us better significantly. would be a cabaye-esque transfer. no need at all for him. either sign someone who is world-class or who has the potential to be it, or just dont sign anyone (even though I want a DLP or someone who is at least kinda creative desperately)

nobody knows if he is a class defender yet. playing in france and in england are 2 different worlds. but we'll see. as I said, if he aint that good on the ball, he will have to be tremendously good as a defender. and futhermore we probably will need another good midfielder, who is creative. @The only place to be..well, Mikels pass accuracy is surely also amazing. if you pass the ball 3 m next to your player standing, there aint a big chance, that you will missplace a pass. the question is, how good is accuracy is when playing the ball upfront and taking risks.

only thing that he lacks yet is tactical awareness (positioning game etc) but thats normal for his age. hopefully, he dosent lacks attitude and discipline. futhermore, I am worried about his technical abilities. he seems not to be good with the ball, like for example Varane, who is awesome with the football. in modern football a CB has also to be able to put in a good pass...

we cannot say he solved our defensive midfield problem. matic and MVG still have to prove themselves. they could also flop. and futhermore, we sill need a DLP I think..so our problem in the CM/DM section isnt really solved. now we need a new LB and a new Striker foremost. if we could get a creative midfielder, would be the top of the cake...

mangala also has high potential so. if zouma ends to be a flop and Mangala will play great, nobody will talk about the price tag anymore.

As said previously, cant blame the team. was due to mous shit team selection and awful substitutions. we are now under pressure against City, but their style of play favours us more. of course we also had bad luck againgst West Ham, but mainly it was due to Mous shit tactics and negative approach.

how was Mourinho brave by playing Ivanovic as a LB and Ramires as a RB? he could have changed to a system with 3 defenders (like he did at madrid) or actually could have subbed 1 DM out and brought Ba in. He subbed Oscar (one of our most creative players) and brought Ba in. the change was completely useless, as we had 1 body more upfront, but had no service for him. matic was completeley unnecessary in this situation and we didnt need to keep 4 defenders back there too. dont even want to talk about the starting line-up, which was awful too .

lost this game due to mourinho. substitutions absolutely awful (taking oscar off WHAT THE FUCK and giving ba only 15 mins). futhermore matic was unnecessary in a game like this. why not changing to 3-5-2 or putting willian as a LB or or. awful match by mourinho, really disappointed. and somebody should tell Willian that he sometims should STAY ON HIS FREAKING SIDE instead of always going in to the centre. we needed width so desperately, but he kept going in to the centre and giving the ball to Ramires to cross ffs. poor game really and a huge letdown. if we lose at Etihad we are literally out of the championship race I guess...

no. had 1 chance from a oscar shot. and than 2-3 mins before the game 2 good chances. one after a corner from terry and another one after a deflected shot from Etoo. beside this, we couldnt create anything. I dont get why Azpi is playing as a LB in this sort of game? completely useless. futhermore mikel + ramires useless against a deep-sitting team and Willians passing is awful today. Etoo beside his shot also not in the game. Ba could have been someone for crosses... @Pizy we won the CL by sitting deep and not doing shit. we should be the last ones complainig about this. also, it was expected to be that way. its not like a team fighting against relegation will come to the Bridge and play flashy football.

well look at Coentrao (30 m), Digne (15m), Marquinhos (30 m or something like this?!). Even Varane who played in the 2nd french league did cost 10 m. The market has changed and especially with City and United as rivals, his price will go up high. Futhermore LB is one of the rarest positions in the world, so everybody tries to fix it for as long as possible.

yeah he started brightly but fell off quite fast. if he will be ok with the 2nd spot next season, I would keep hold of him though and give him some chances.

LBs are much much rarer than CBs. futhermore he is english, which also plays on the price. and nearly every top club is rumoured to be after him. Even though I agree, that 20 m should be the maximum for Luke. And he was amazing today.

Mourinho by himself said, that he played Mata OUT OF POSITION and that he knows, that Mata is better in the centre. so if you are playing a player out of position + demanding something from him, which he just CANT bring in, than its deemed to fail. mourinho by himself admitted it. And he didnt gave up. he knew he had no chance to get back into the team, because Mou didnt favor him. he was sitting 90 mins on the bench against United etc etc. futhermore he wants to play in the WC and if a big club like United come in, its naturally to think about it. Even John Terry once thought to leave for City etc. Its bullshit with this "he didnt want to fight". He could have left already in the sumemr, if he wanted to. already in the summer there were indications, that Oscar would be playing ahead of him. if you know that you dont have a chance to play, do you continue senseless "fighting"? Götze isnt really playing a false 9. most of the time Mandzukic was playing there. yeah the midfield position at bayern is difficult. they are playing 4-3-3 (4-1-4-1...more or less simliar). as a holding mitfielder mostly Schweinsteiger should be used, but at the moment, nobody knows, because he is always injured and maybe Pep has something different for him. at the moment, Lahm is often playing this role. Martinez is also someone for this role in front of the defence. Will be a duel between him and Schweinsteiger. Than we have the 2 CMs. There we have Thiago, Schweinsteiger?, Kroos, Götze?. That is probably 3-4 players for 2 positions. aint that much. problem is, nobody knows how Götze will be used. he could play a false 9 and so there would be more options for Kroos, or he could go back playing as a CM (while he is too offensive for this role I feel). they signed Lewandowski futhermore, so playing a system with no striker makes no sense. Götze could also play on the wings. so, really, nobody knows what Pep is planning for in the summer. But he has talked only positivly about Kroos and I dont think, that they will let him go. Robben and Ribery are hitting their 30s, so maybe Götze will move on the wing. Or even Lewandowski. Kroos can play in a pivot next to somebody like Matic/Ramires (if sitting deep). he can also play as a AMF. but I think he would be the perfect DPL for us. he has good passing, range of passing, he has a great vision and a great shot. Cons are that he is rather slow and sometimes lethargic or passive. But as I said, I dont think Bayern will let him go.

I dont get this "clinical in front of goal" thing. falcao has missed A LOT of chances with Monaco lately, Cavani is missing tons of chances and Higuain is as far away from being clinical as Torres is from being the next Balon D'or Winner. Mandzukics finishing is up to par to all the above mentioned I would say. Mayble slightly worse, but there aint that much of a difference between his finishing skills and Cavanis/Falcao. Cavani indeed is better technically.

his fee CANT increase because he has a release clause. they cant demand more than the release clause. so the WC plays no matter to it at all. and I think Costa would rather have his future sorted out before he goes to the WC.
