  1. Such a shame he couldn't reach his full potential.
  2. Well if they play like they did on Saturday then I say go for it then!
  3. Judging from some of the comments, we better make them happy and do an Arsenal
  4. It has to be Maluda, although Mikel and Drogba will be very close for second place.
  5. Ok you know things are going insane if a Chelsea forum has a 'love Kalou' clique and a 'hate Kalou' clique! But seriously the problem is that some people are more than willing to lambaste on Kalou's mistake and yet totally ignore anything good he does. The hat trick against Stoke is a perfect example. Instead of congratulating him some people immediately act like it doesn't count because they were all 'tap ins'. What about performances against Spurs in the 2007 FA Cup, or the first leg in the 2008 Champions league final against Liverpool, they are never acknowledged by some yet unfairly always bring up performances like the one against Bolton all the time as though they have some sort of agenda against the poor guy. Yet they will gladly drool over Kakuta and demand that he replaces Kalou on a full-time bases, despite the fact he has yet top prove himself in top flight football. Even though I have criticized Kalou in the past I will always give him praise when he performances well. The fact that he had a better goal and assist rate to Joe Cole yet some were always sucking up to Cole and lambasting against Kalou says it all.
  6. Either Ramires, Benayoun or Malouda slotting back in midfield and Zhirkov at left wing.
  7. Apparently Terry had a knock for most of the second half.
  8. Carlo taking a risk with no CB cover on the bench, also I am surprised that Turnbull is on the bench instead of Hilario.
  9. Hopefully Drogba will give another curling free-kick like last time
  10. We will never go near his buy out clause
  11. Chelsea Shakhtar Donetsk Copenhagen Žilina That would do nicely
  12. Is it me, or does this guy seem to be a disruptive character, he wanted to leave Portsmouth in January because he would be on the bench as soon as David James was fit again. Then he joins Stoke and because he wants first team football but complains again 6 months later because once again he complains about being a bench warmer. Yet strangely the club that has seem to captured his heart when an offer was made was Chelsea, who undoubtedly will put him on the bench anyway because of Petr Cech.
  13. Lets just hope it does more good then harm for the players. These stupid marketing tours usually tire players before the season starts.

  15. To be honest with Ramires coming in, along with Yossi as a regular squad player; as well with Essien now back to full health - Matic won't have much playing time. Lets just hope its a loan to an English club.
  16. The difference between Stoke and Wigan is that Stoke are much tighter in defense.... usually.
  17. Think about it, he has not got much chance of playing at Left wing or at least Left back with Malouda and Ashley Cole continuing their excellent form, and it seems if Malouda were to say get injured then Kalou or Sturridge seem to be Carlo's choice of filling the gap. Also its seems Carlo has some hope in PvA developing as a quality LB so that could stop Zhirkov going into their and if Kakuta is to feature more the left wing seems to be his more natural position. Hence this equals less chances for Zhirkov getting playing time and certainly less chance to play at left wing - last season he only had 10 starts. If I were personally close to him like a family/close friend or his agent, I would defiantly voice the opinion of moving clubs to get more playing time to him.
  18. I honestly think he will leave at the end of season, and maybe even January.
  19. I think the problem is that he never actually joined the first team because he never got a work permit, so while under contract at Chelsea has always had to go out on loan - which might mean there is no official word on it if I'm not mistaken.
