Patrick Van Aanholt on loan at Coventry
Stamford replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He looked promising to me during the few reserve games I saw. As you say Esk, a loan is perfect for him to show his metal at this stage of his career. -
If I had to choose one CJ, it would be logo two, but as they both remind me of the Palace badge, I'm not sure about either. Sorry mate, just giving you an honest answer.

I remember too, infact I remember most of our penalty shoot outs lost us games. Burnley at home last season in the Carling cup for example.

UNCONFIRMED: Chelsea to hand Mancienne long-term deal
Stamford replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Great news, I think he is exactly the sort of player the club needs to hang on to. A loan out to a Premiership club is a good idea as Alex said he will more or less get a place in the starting line. -
Sounds like a waste of good money to me. Not proven in any European League and far to much risk at that price.
-
lol me too, That wasn't one of our best performances eh? They brought a big crowd with them for that one and out sang us big time. STEV3O have a great time, you will never forget your first game mate.

I'd say a little under priced, but it wouldn't bother me too much too see Kalou go. Granted he has scored one or two important goals, but I don't see him as a future star at the club, more of a workhorse type squad player, and we already have enough of those.

Happy Birthday Kez, have a great day mate.

Superb news, He's here he's there he's every fucking where Joey Cole Joey Cole, sorry had to burst into song after reading that.

I think that although he hasn't seemed to have done much for his wages, but as Esk says these things do take time. Esk used the word CONTINUITY and that's a word that we don't associate with Chelsea, but hopefully we can keep all the management happy now that Roman has his wish in appointing Ancelloti. I'd love to see more JT's coming through Manciene being a prime example, so maybe we should be patient and let natural wastage take its course to weed out the iffy ones and end up with the best youth academy in the league.

Ancelotti not convinced by Obi Mikel, Essien
Stamford replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Obviously bollox, Why would they tie Mikel to a new deal? He knows that Mikel is the best holding player in the squad bar Essien. But I would rather see Essien used in a more forward role. Not sure how it would work in this diamond shape though. If Pirlo comes he along with Frank would be first choice I assume. -
Roman plans £100m for Pirlo, Ribery and Aguero
Stamford replied to Rambo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Of course you are titled to your opinion, but Ribery is hardly shit. But I do agree we don't need him. I too would be more than happy to see Aguero at The Bridge. -
He might be Frank's uncle, but if that droopy eyed twat signs Joey, I will hate the Yids even more than I do now. I think its highly possible because he would deffo get more playing time. I don't even think we have seen the best of Cole yet, and would hate to see him realise his undoubted talent at Three Point Lane.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is hoping to tempt Joe Cole to White Hart Lane with the promise of regular first-team football in a World Cup year. The 27-year-old had an injury blighted season in 2008/9, making just 19 appearances for the Blues, but is keen to force his way into Fabio Capello's England plans ahead of South Africa. And with new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti favouring a midfield diamond, Cole could find opportunities limited with new signing Yuri Zhirkov, Florent Malouda, Michael Essien and Michael Ballack all vying for places, alongside Frank Lampard. The Italian has said Cole could be deployed as a second striker but Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka will be aiming to renew their partnership from the end of the last campaign. Cole has just a year left to run on his current deal at Stamford Bridge and could be tempted to link up again with Redknapp, who handed the midfielder his first-team debut at West Ham. Talk of a Chelsea move for AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo will do nothing to reassure Cole over his future. And with only this season left to force his way into Fabio Capello's squad, he may be swayed by the offer of a regular berth on the wing for Tottenham. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- deleted as I didn't see the original JC thread. It would break my heart to see joey with the yids.

Done, your log in name remains unchanged.

Welcome cats, I too sit in the West Lower. I have noticed the atmosphere picking up in the west recently, there are a few singers in the lower tier, and hopefully more people will join in. As for the view, you are spot on. I hope you enjoy the site and post regularly.

He is still with us as far as I know. I suppose he is going to say Messi as would any young striker, but if he ends up to be Crespo mark two, I for one would settle for that.
-
I have been to the last three, but I will be on holiday for this one. Shame as its a good day out and highly recommended to people who haven't been before.

R.I.P. Sir Bobby. All of the TC members thoughts are with your family. A real gem in the football world and a gentleman away from the pitch, you will be sadly missed.

Lampard - Greatest Chelsea player ever?
Stamford replied to boshman's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
There is obviously a hall of fame in any club, We have had some real treasures over the years and Lampard will definitely be regarded as one of our legends. Some of us were lucky enough to witness some of our all time greats during their playing careers, for me Ossie stands out as the best ever Chelsea player, but then in the next breath Zola made an explosive start and won the heart of every Chelsea fan in the world. If I had to list a legend list it would look like this, and in no particular order. Roy Bently Peter Osgood Ron 'Chopper' Harris Dave Webb Charlie Cooke Pat Nevin Kerry Dixon Nigel Spackman Tony Dorigo Dennis Wise Dan Petrescu Gianfranco Zola Roberto Di Matteo Ruud Gullit Gianluca Vialli Marcel Desailly Cluade Makelele Frank Lampard John Terry Didier Drogba There are others that can be added to that list, but for me these are the most outstanding players in our history. I have been lucky enough to see all of these wearing our shirt, with the exception of Roy Bentley, but he has to get a mention as our first ever title winning captain. -
Cameron don't be fooled by all this accident shit, Hunt is a nasty little snot rag, he could have easily pulled out of that challenge and chose not to. We could have potentially lost two goalkeepers that day. Hunt continues to challenge in that manic way with a fucking smirk as wide as the Blackwall tunnel. Only proving that the 3ft leprechaun is a twat. You say what you like, But I will never forgive him.

Essien hints at new Chelsea midfield signing
Stamford replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I am sure that we will be signing Pirlo unfortunately. I think its a wrong move, especially if Mancienne is part of that deal. I'd much rather see Sneijder, but agree with those who say we don't need either of them. -
There always are a few glitches when a software upgrade and new skin is done. I have to log in every time I come on, its no biggie and I am sure it will be fixed.

This looks great Jim, thanks for all the work you do to make TC the place it is. I am sure that the world wide membership are grateful mate.
