If you want to see 'glory hunters' have a look around right now. On the estate I live, I have seen people who laughably called themselves Chelsea/Utd/Arsenal fans, now wearing Citeh tops. I find it all a bit incredulous really. Like most of you on here, I have been a lifelong supporter and used to go to all games home and away, I had my heart in my mouth on many many occasions and almost cried when JT missed 'that penalty' The only other team I will admit to looking out for their results is Brighton and Hove Albion, because they are the team in my home town. The reason I don't support BHAFC, is that Chelsea were the first team I ever saw live and I continued to go there on a regular basis with family until I was old enough to go on my own. It has been nearly forty years since I first went to the Bridge and the anticipation of each match is as strong today as it was when I was a nipper.

You just carry on Russian Fan Chelsea, you are doing just fine. Your post covered some good points and If I had to try and post Russian, you would not be able to understand a single word I typed. So well done you. Keep it up.

That side of things is up to ShedEndBlue Greggs. So I can't answer that for you.

Apparently Roman has flown out today to hold talks with JT. The longer this goes on themore worried I am. As has been said many times over the last few weeks, its not John's defending we will miss most, but his leadership qualities are second to none.
-
It may be a little hard to understand, but this guy has tried to write in English, which I think should be saluted. I'd like to see either of you go onto a Russian site and make yourselves understood.

He will also get better, with players like Anelka and Drogs to learn from, he will go from strength to strength. He has to have pitch minutes though, he is young and hungry and if we don't play him I think we will shoot ourselves in the foot, because he will be off to somewhere he will get first team games.

Chelsea bound? Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has ruffled Man City feathers by stalling on a trip to Eastlands Manchester City are furious with Emmanuel Adebayor after the Arsenal striker's advisers attempted to engineer a move to Chelsea on Friday night. Sportsmail revealed earlier this week that Adebayor was offered to neighbours Manchester United when talks with City over personal terms of £170,000 a week looked to be in danger of collapse. There were indications yesterday that he was finally ready to agree a move to City and head up to Manchester for a medical. But the club were amazed to discover that the Togo forward has been touted to Chelsea as he continues to stall on a £25million move to Eastlands. Adebayor even met Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger yesterday over the possibility of staying at the Emirates for another season, but the Gunners are adamant they do not want him back and are keen to honour the deal agreed with City. In spite of the latest twist, City are resisting the temptation to pull the plug and will hold last-ditch talks this weekend aimed at resurrecting the transfer. The dramatic news followed official confirmation from Everton yesterday that they had rejected a bid - believed to be £15m - for England defender Joleon Lescott. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...0#ixzz0LY9xvFO9 No thank you.

Robbie Savage. Aguero for me, and yes I do think the deal could be done. Roman will eventually pull out the stops to get his man, he didn't like losing out on Robinho last year.

I really don't think its ambition we lack. You might not like the celebrations after the Wembley success, But I think that it showed squad camaraderie and was a great end to a very average season. If Kenyon goes he goes. We are already in the spotlight around the globe and sponsorship deals all sewn up until we get somebody else in. (it didn't take utd long) I think its us(some of us) the fans who have become impatient. We have seen all the Real and Citeh signings and already decided that we won't sign anyone else. As Esk says we have until the end of August before the window shuts. The shit over JT has put a few nerves on edge understandably. But that will blow over. Keep the faith Terminator X, all will be well come August.

He left with the squad to go on the tour of the USA, I think that is statement enough of his intentions to stay.

Peter Kenyon considers future at Chelsea
Stamford replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Then you are an idiot. The most important game in the history of our club, and you call it a facial expression. Well he embarrassed us and made us a laughing stock with the media. I'm not sure why you are showing loyalty to this bounty hunter anyway. He will go where the money is, as he proved when he left the club he professes to support. -
Personally, I think he is going, I sincerely hope I am wrong. But this is looking all to inevitable.

Personally I agree 100% CM. That fucking inane grin on his face as he led the players up the steps sticks in my mind too. He may be good with the advertising and sponsership deals, but he had no right that day to do that. He lost what little respect i had for him before that happened. -
I really would prefer we signed Aguero or Pato than him, but if we do end up signing him, it should be alongside Didier not instead of.

Inevitable in the end. Topic closed.

Spot on Kez. Calm down everyone. If and when he goes, call him what ever you feel, but he is at this precise moment OUR LEADER still. CJ I think we now know what the rest of the Premiership were saying and feeling when we were doing exactly the same as Citeh.
-
You have changed your tune now that Benzema has gone to Real. I think you are probably right about Tevez though, I think they will get him now.
-
I think some of us are worrying a bit too much. If and that's a big if we sell JT it will be for huge money. Money that could bring us in some younger talent. I am the last one that wants to see JT go. But also I don't believe the shitty red top papers that spew this drivel on a daily basis. We have been 'also rans' for the last couple of years, but also rans are still head and shoulders above a team that has done nothing for decades. C'mon JT climb up on top of the shed and shout it from the rooftops " I am the Blue's Captain and I will be until I retire" That will put an end to all this bollocks. Stay where your heart is JT, if its possible your blue army may even love you more.
-
Yeah I saw that CJ, Jason Cundy was on about it too on Talksport this morning. I hope the reports are true. I'd love to see Tevez playing behind Drogs and then eventually behind Sturridge.

Did anyone hear the phone in show with Mike Parry this morning ? He had a fella on there with him (can't remember his name Mick something???) Well anyway apparently he is a respected football writer. Well he was saying that there is more to the Terry transfer than most of us think. He said that he had it from a good authority that JT has become too powerful at the club, and that all the press conference talk from Ancelotti was bullshit to make it look as though JT wants to leave, but the club want him to stay. He went onto say that Terry holiday's on Romans yacht and has a direct line to him, bypassing the manager, and that's not the way it should work. He also said that £30m+ was a brilliant offer for an ageing defender with a dodgy back. He reckons JT will only play in half the games this season and that due to his back he has lost a yard in pace. He really believes that our leader will start the season at Eastlands. What blew me away was that there were people phoning and completely agreeing with him, including three of them that were season ticket holders, who felt that JT was far too big for his boots. Don't shoot the messenger here guy's, this is not my view at all. I think its another crock of shit. I just wondered if anyone else heard the phone in.

Very good.
