Top post FB (how are ya btw?) I couldn't agree more mate. Continuity is the key word in my opinion, I'd gladly sacrifice next season to let Sparky build his team for the future, Not sure Roman feels the same way lol. As I said in my OP Hughs will get the respect from the dressing room and I think like others How can you ever be ready for the likes of Chelsea without being given the oppurtunity(sp?) in the first place. -

I definately expect an announcement tomorrow, now they have sacked Ten Cate. Its obvious that the incoming man has told them he wants his team in there so its down the road with Henk first, then announce the new boss, I so hope its Sparky. Tough,Respected,Hard working player and I think with a big club, ie us, He will become a manager with the same and more credentials. The only thing that could be a bit iffy, is the Roman interference, I'm not sure Hughes would put up with that. -
New Manager Search, Summer 2008
Stamford replied to changingman2000's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
PPS, Hughes is a lifelong Blues fan. Being a mid table manager at Blackburn is all he'll ever be if he stays there. I feel he could do a good job with us. I'd rather him than SGE or Laudrup anyway. -
A letter that had no need to be written. We already KNEW you would feel this way John. God bless ya Mr Chelsea, a true Blue legend.
-
I am not sure about Laudrup at all. His record isn't that impresive and I don't really know his style of football. Obviously, I'd love Jose back, but don't realistically think that will happen. I think it will be a Rijkaard/ Cate partnership, although I am not convinced that that will work either.

My trully appologizes to John Terry and all of you.
Stamford replied to Hingis's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It got to us all. It takes some bottle to come on and apologise in that way. So apology accepted, and remember WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, THROUGH THICK AND THIN. -
Right time and right decision. Its no good banging on about Champions League finals and second in the League, Fair point he did, but it was with Jose's team, and with him probably not picking the final team on matchdays. We need to get in the right man that will see us through another four years and I thought that man would be Jose, but now we need to get it sorted once and for all.
-
I don't agree Blue Lion, I think that as soon as Drogba got the red, Sheva should have been brought on for what would have been his Chelsea swan song. I know Belletti scored a pen, But Sheva could have possibly pulled it out of the bag. But after all is said and done, its not last nights decisions that he should go for, its everything. He was playing Jose's team and a trained monkey could have got us where he got us. I firmly believe it was the boys and Clarkey who so nearly won the league and cup for us, not Grant. Also he has all the personality of a frog having a shit.

Top post Elliott. If thats Belgian humour take it and shove it. There are a lot of us that ar'nt Johnny come Lately's on here and as Changingman puts it have a real empty feeling right now. Its going to be bad enough taking shit from other team supporters, let alone our own supposed supporters going in for the jugular. Hingis I Never saw JT Crying, Because I was too busy crying myself. 35 years man and boy and this is the biggest game ever and you come on here and slag John Terry Off its BOLLOCKS. Now fuck off and support the two bob team that you supported before Roman took over and you jumped on the Chelsea band wagon. Jim If you think, I'm out of line I make no apologies and you can take the admin job off of me. Because right now I or any other loyal supporter does not need to read shit like this guy is spouting.
-
You are a twat mate. Chelsea deserves better supporters than you. JT saved us during the game and without him we may not even be in the final. Crying means you are genuine, which You are obviously not, otherwise you would realise that Terry gives 110% every game and tonight was no different. If Belgium teams are really that good, fuck off and support one of those. You CANNOT blame losing a penalty shootout loss on one player.
-
Squeeky Bum time Chaps. Believe it or not, I'm sitting in my wheelchair with my Chelsea kit on, with a fuck the tablets attitude, Beer instead. All of you enjoy the greatest match that our boys have ever been involved with.
-
I was one who shouted you down CM and I will be the first to apologise as I said I would, if you were proven right. You were of course spot on he is a useless prick and I am now fully behind the "Sack Grant NOW" campaign.
-
Sack the Bastard and sack him NOW Roman.
-
If and thats a big if, Rafa Beneath us signs all the Chelsea players he has been linked with, are they wanting to be us ? After all the Fat Spaniards Criticism about the way we play, you would have thought that buying half of Chelsea, would of been the last thing he would be thinking about. Whoever wrote or started that story must be on Crack, I think there is as much chance of me shagging Christina than Joey going to the Mickeys.
-
They can shove it. Are they taking the piss? Xabi Bastard Alonso ???? Oh yeah why not throw Terry and Drogba in too, hell they might even give us Kewell too. Piss taking scouse twats.
-
Tough game methinks, but we will shade it 1-2 Ballack and Anelka.
-
It two for me Chelsea and Chelsea reserves. I don't support them, but coming from Brighton, I do look out for their results.
-
I agree that Iniesta would be a great signing, but a luxurious one really. We don't need him either for cover or first team. I agree with Esk that is just a rumor at the moment, maybe a smokescreen for somebody else. God knows who though. I don't think Kenyon is talking about Ivanovic, as that deal is almost done and dusted. So no need for the "cloak and dagger" announcement next week talk.
-
About time too. He will be an asset to us. He may well be a stroppy git, but he hasn't failed at any club he has been at and is a proven Premiership scorer. Chuck him straight in tomorrow and let him smash a hatrick past the Yids.
-
Graham Souness in his day could give as good as he got if not more. Dennis Wise although not dirty was a hard man on the field and wouldn't let anyone get away with anything. But I think in terms of real hard nuts you have mentioned the three obvious ones for me Greg. You mention Lily Savage, but I honestly think he would have shat himself if he saw Chopper bareing down on him. If you watch some of the Blackburn replays Savage bottles out of tackles with real hard men like JT week in and week out.
