I fancy us to win 4-1 . We are flying at the moment and Jose will keep asking questions of our players in order to keep them motivated,winning and fighting for Chelsea is the only option now . This is Mourinho's Chelsea and we the fans got him back where he belongs.

When Jose sniffs the chance to pull away in the league he takes it,todays team selection is indicative of this . The aim is to pull away from City if we can get 9 points clear of City it will be ours,no Mourinho team will let that slip ,every game is as important as the next. Ashley Cole is still our best left back and we need his experience for games like Newcastle away especially . Ryan will need to get his head down and keep improving .

He is playing a different role ,he will not score as many goals from there ,he cant be his usual self from there and score twenty goals ,what he is now is a great midfileder in partnership with Ramires, who is flourishing in the parthership in no small wat thanks to Franks' experience. Since the 2nd half at Spurs when Mikel was hauled off we have been on a superb run when Ramires and Lampard were paired.

Lampard was always going to be straight in ,there is no substitute for class me and Jose have said this many times . He is perfect for Newcastle away .

Saw him on Chelsea TV on the American tour, in the first team and he looked extra special,he did not look like a young kid he looked like he was an established first team player who played with full confidence and belief in his ability ,very exciting signing !!!!

Straight back in for Newcastle ,no need for Lampard to play in the League cup until the final. Should be news soon about his new contract,I have heard.

I can see this happening and if it does the league is ours and our chances in the champions league will rise ,he will be perfect for us and assuming Torres is back our squad will be complete to challenge for everything and Mourinho will have done it in 5 months.

Sorry mate thought he did ok but his direct opponent was Ramsey their best player ,he disposessed Obi once who was to slow on the ball and the ref luckily gave us a free kick in a very dangerous area and Carzola and Wilshire skipped past him when he got too square on ,his passing was safe as usual and that does not impress me,Essien is now back up to Lamps and Rammy in my book and probably Jose's as well ,he did ok for him though ,nothing spectacular 6/10 ,Essien 8/10 .

He has got something left in the tank ,I make him next in line to fill in for Rammy or Lamps. Dont see him playing twice a week though .

It does not mata whether you come from Brazil or Russia or Australia or the moon every back four has to do this and that includes one with Luiz in it, They expect a back four that is always tight and stays together on the same line and defend against players collectively.

Cahill is a far superior defender to Luiz ,why? because Luiz is unpredictable ,defending is all about percentages and teamwork with the back 5 all on the same wavelength,Luiz could do anything at any time and he needs to learn the percentages ,very similar to Frank Lebouef when he first came,if Luiz learns and he will have to, he can become a great . The fact is Jose could not trust him to play against City and that is why Cahill played and he did very well as he has done all season,at the moment our best centre back partnership is JT and Cahill .

Messiah has done his usual and googled every paper and publication to find one that is negative on Lampard,which paper compared Mikel to Zidane when he came on?

Some of Lampard's link play and one touch quick passing was fantastic,that is what you need when in posession in that role,Lampards direct opponent was Toure who usually owns us,not this time though.

You are right he wil not start v Arsenal nor will Rammy our back up players will play,but you are totally wrong about Lampard retiring and that will be shown to you very soon Jose will be offering a new deal ,remember how he judges players on performance not age and Zannetti won the champions League with Jose at 37 . City had more of the play because they flooded midfield and that left Rammy and Frank outnumbered,but it did allow our three to attack City and create . Frank and Rammy matching up against their midfield allowed us to create chances although they were ounumbered. Mikel will start v Arsenal if you have no idea and it will be a very big game for him that we are expected to win and carry on our good form. Lets see if he is up to it?

People who do not understand football and there are many think if Lampard is not scoring goals he is not playing well,he will not be scoring as many goals from his new position particularly against the likes of City ,what he will do is match up to people like Toure his passing and tackling was brilliant yesterday and he got a yellow card as did Rammy this is because they did not let City waltz past them as we usually do,Rammy and Frank were top class yesterday . Ramires has been excellent since he was paired with Frank after the Fulham game where he was awful and the first half at Spurs ,since they were paired we have won every game and the Lampard /Ramires engine has been key to this success. I expect the club to announce that JT and Lampard have signed to stay at the club for at least another season very soon,now we have Jose in charge of team selection and rightly so.

If I could look to the future and see Mourinho as Chelsea manager in 6 years time I will be very happy ,he is a very special manager indeed and given some time here he will take us to superpower status in Europe .
