I think this is another summer saga that won't end up our way, there is too many reliance on Man Ure to stop the defensive front they have put up and might be another Cavani, Falcoa, Aguero chase rather then anything. Or it would end up down the route of Torres, with us offering a large amount of money to push Man Ure's hand to sway in our favour.

i am pissed off by these reports that we have offered either Juan or David. the fact BBC is reporting it gives some credibility to the point, and shows that whoever does the transfer offer, emenalo or jose or whatever that they haven't seen the awesoomeness which Mata has.

I also think that Ryan is better crossing wise, seen him do some good ones for us, as well he can add a sense of versatility, being deployed as a defensive winger or even a midfielder, if we need him too. Still think Shaw will be here come January or next Summer, but i can't see Cole being here longer then two more years max.

Looks more like Schurrle, his haircut is long at the top and short behind, and he does seem quite tall, around 6ft0. Kalas is smaller.

Not really, if Jose goes with the idea of adding youth for depth, then we could have a sufficient amount of options for each position, if we can sign one or two players. For right-back we have Wallace and Kalas, alongside Dave and the possible choice of Ivanovic there. Left back we have Cole and Bertrand, who i think are good enough - but also could have Van Aanholt if he doesn't get loaned out again. For me we need to get rid of the dead wood, and bring in one or two players that will seriously improve the areas that we have lacked in - CDM and an actual striker - while also allowing enough depth to allow some youth players time on the field, early FA, League Cup, some lower teams in PL, etc. it could be enough to give us the depth that United have had over the years, as well as developing youth on our own terms instead of relying on another team.

It's about as quiet and interesting as the Arsenal trophy cabinet in recent days. Hoping to hear some information about a play going (Torres ) or coming in (Cavani? ), soon.

I am really starting to fucking hate the whole summer transfer window. It seems to be more like a fucking soap opera then an actual business transaction.
