  1. Southampton are even got more points then us
  2. 15 shots, 6 on target and 1 goal, compared to 10 shots, 3 on target and 2 goals. Not watching but i am guessing that the vibe isn't very welcoming
  3. One thing to say: Squad depth is strength.
  4. NVM got some http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x16hv5s_chelsea-vs-manchester-city-2-1_videogames
  5. 47 years old Another twenty years at least as the Boss
  6. Rambo off for JT. First thing JT does is telling Essien to keep wearing the captain's armband. Typical JT
  7. So the Torres usual, with a midfielder scoring?
  8. Outscore the rest of the other striking options we have with ease?
  9. So no really young on the pitch? Disappointing to say the least. Nice to see Baker on the bench, haven't really seem him play, but i think that the League Cup being more of a tester for the young ones instead of a competition we should go all out for, though i know we not (but with Torres, Mata, De Bruyne and Luiz on the field does seem otherwise). Would have like to see Christensen have a go, or Loftus-Creek, but oh well.
  10. Summed it up perfectly! Making thoughts with emotion and fantasist rather then logic and realism. This squad will challenge for the title, but if we do win it, we won via a demolition like we did during Jose's second season. We will loose some, and draw some, but with each game i think the squad and Jose will learn from each result, good or bad, to strengthen the side more mentally, knowing the kind of competition that we are facing and being able to adapt with that. Will be interesting for the Man City game and the Arsenal games, the kind of approach that Jose will use will be different to Carlo, Di Matteo, etc. and that is something we will have to get use to.
  11. i would have because he has been one of the best players so far this season, Lampard needs a rest imho.
  12. It also says Ba is worth 19m, and Mikel for 22m euros Don't seem right to me
  13. The fact he is competing with Benteke for the striker position for his National Side could be a big factor, the guy ended last season amazingly and started this one as good, yet Lukaku finished last season the same way, but looked to be on the bench for the majority. This move will help him have a far chance to carry on the same form, as well as progress with a team with a different style from West Brom, making him learn to develop his game more with each training session and game time.
  14. Good to know the club are searching for right team when they are trying to get loans for players rather them financial need. To bad some haven't worked out like that in the past, with Davila and Delac coming plainly to mind.
  15. Wow this thread was fun to read. Seemed be an example of the arguing that i have seen a few times, anyway all i will say is that we had the same problem with the Legends title (as LDN Blue mentioned), and for the majority part of this forum, was just people arguing one another for arguing stake rather then staying on-topic. Maybe i don't get the 'context' as i am not a 'brilliantly' active member but maybe a trial run of a month without MoTM, a month before implementing the new changes, would see how the general atmosphere of the forum is without causing tension, and go from there.
  16. Think he will score his way up the leagues and then get a Stearn position at a mid-tabled club, and if he can keep his form, he will then go to Arsenal or Manchester United, have a good season and be rotten out by more payed stars, and then to be sold to another mid-table club where he find his form once again.
  17. Another player to really make the attacking midfeild stronger, but they still need another striker if they really wanted to contend - good ol' Jose denying them
  18. I think the only reason he went is because Le Arse was the only club actually interested in Ba, and even then would fork-out the amount we wanted to get from the loan fee. Would be a good stint for him at Everton, is a goalscorer which Everton are missing at the moment, and will gain some minutes. Though it is a little saddening, that he was our best striker during preseason, and has shown his worth in cameo appearances so far this season, but despite Jose saying he would have a clearer role in the team then when he first came here - he is loaned out. But whatever, just another chance for Lukaku to shine once more as we hit our heads against the wall when Fernando Torres misses another sitter.
  19. Mata leaving is as unlikely as Torres leaving - best player in the last two years here, and just because Jose wants him to get fit, doesn't mean he is out of favour, more that he rates the value a fit Juan would be for the team, rather then a knackered Juan.
  20. At twenty, under a large amount of pressure, always completely compared to one of the best striker to ever grace the green of Stamford Bridge, and you judge him on that? What do you expect? Some hero story where he is the supero hero? No, this is real life, and this kind of things sadly happen in football. If you judge him on one kick of the ball rather then the season he had at West Brom, where he outscored all of the goalscorers of this club, then i am sorry then you expect too much in the wrong moment. He isn't going to be a superstar over night, without minutes or these moments, he will learn and grow as a person and a player.
