so sloppy, could call 'em all joe!

Doubt Napoli's dickbag would let him leave, especially with us taking Jorginho...

I always looks to see what the player is like I their second d season. Good or bad. One way there first season could be then getting nurtured to the league, or them hitting the ground running in a rush of momentum. Always seems like to have the perfect attitude, which makes it slightly easier, but he has to know this season he has to work hard to make it happen - and as it should be if he stays - or Bats will be coming for the striker role.
-
Again, if he was so desperate then he would've forced the move alot sooner. Surely, if he wanted to leave and the club knew, we should've cashed in when he was given the Golden Gloves from the world cup.

Only seen the score, but chuffed for him and Frank. Hope the winning ways continue for both

Must be giving away the #9 for the long awaited target.... Andy Carroll!
-
Why would you start with 6 days to get a replacement? I know it's the daily star, but if there is any sense of truth then the club is being run by some useless turds.
-
I am sure we can still sell players after the English window closes....
-
More of the same at Newcastle then
-
Tbh he's shown clear indication by coming back early. Has a real opportunity if we don't sign another midfielder this season, probably one of the only times to do so.

Sorry, but The Sun as a source is the worse thing to trust for 'news'.

Plus he would be playing to try and make an impression. The extra ego/confidence to take his moment to mark the game as his starting point. A very brash mindset, which can go both ways. So young, he can be nurtured into something great! But only if we learn from previous mistakes, and CHO continues that determination.

Credibility and daily mail don't go far...

Done it before with Willian
-
That is the role Eddie Newton has now. He oversees their progress, etc

Brilliant response. Sarri can use this well, to improve our youths mindset to being given chnacea and no demoralised from the first team by their manager like a certain club in the North.

Wow, perfect man management from Jose there

I don't expect all in the 11 days, and would be good to gradually get rid of a few in the next few windows. But it is hard to see any leave without someone coming in. We really need some kind of shuffle. We could have used our failure for top 4 as the perfect chance to adapt and change, but doesn't look like that'll happen. Get a DoF with close links to the club, and we might be set. TBF also thought Ballack would be good in that role. Highly respected, knowledgeable about the game and is a Chelsea legend.

Typical we go for one target at a time only to lose it at the end, while get a quick panic buy. Hope we can offer enough to turn them our ways.

We are a football club, a results based business. That relies upon certain individual workers to work within a certain structure, if we then rid of those players - some which you named are players that offer/offered big roles within the system - then we have to rely on making business to find suitable replacements. I am not disagreeing with the implications that the players named should be sold, nor am I going by a venture of one in, one out. Just a large amount of such movement within the current atmosphere at the club wouldn't/couldn't be happening. We are in a uncertain situation. The manager has not had time with the whole team, heck only had a few sessions before Perth. If there was future-forward planning then that situation would've been resolved. If there was any future-forward planning, the issues regarding Tibo and Hazard would have been resolved - either a sale or announcement of new contact. The market place has been pushed into levels of extortion and unrealistic levels then it once was. Neymar, Alison, Ronaldo: transfers that have all earmarked a prestige for players to be bracketed against, and that could/is going against us. If the level of financial backing needed for transfers isn't there from our owner - outside of other financial deals - then we are going to struggle. The reality is that as a club, we've always been dodgy on handling our transfer windows. Relating then towards panic buys which we earn nothing from long term. I do agree we need to think long-term, use the successful resources that we - as a business have at our disposals, the youth and academy, use them for integration into the team instead of loan move which can either reduce or inflate their prices. CHO is one of many players that have been naned as possible first teamers. If there is no change in relation of the system then there is no progress and it will be the same again. We can all dream what the right way is, but based upon the history of our actions, we should know the reality. Hence why it would be outrageous - if correct word? - to expect such a change within 11 days!
-
To work out that many sales this season would be outrageous. To gut a squad while also bringing in a new manager as well as not have CL football - a simple must have to some players - we can't have so much change. Plus with the whole mystery over Romans' influence over transfers, finances into the club, etc. again would make any sales and purchases hard to come by. We still don't know how the players will be with Sarri's approach, we are still left in dark in negotiations with the two big Belgiums. In the end, we can't quite losses as it is harder now then ever to predict the transfer window prices. Personally I would allow Sarri to mark who he thinks is not useful to his system, sell them and then go from there. But again, we have three/four days between the WC players arrive and the end of the window so it's all shitty timings.
