Lol I'm just here to help mate.

Ye I thought the early comments were perfectly logical, good points with a well backed up argument including quotes and a video. I'm not sure why there was such a crazy reaction to it. Anyway, I agree, Sahin is one for the future at Madrid, Khedira/Granero/Lass are totally different players to Alonso and Sahin, Sahin's involvement in the team has nothing to do with Khedira, Lass or Granero. He is definitely one for the future at Madrid, hopefully we see him play a bit more next season.

To be fair here lads, I think the Madrid One would be a bit more up to date and informed on matters at Real Madrid than any of us. Personally as a fan of La Liga, to the best of my knowledge, his points are both correct and logical. Granted he was a bit aggressive with a couple of his responses though I can understand why he might have been a bit miffed in regards some of the comments about Sahin and other Madrid personnel.

Cheers man, LDN will be a great mod, I'm just glad the admin team here thought I was potentially mod worthy.
-
Thanks to the admin team who put me in this poll, it's an honour.

I just hope he doesn't get in the way of Romeu. I like Essien but the knee injuries have taken their toll and they aren't things you can just shake off. I think Romeu is a potentially world class player and someone who perfectly suits the more fluid, quick, short passing game we are trying to adopt, he is technically excellent from his time at La Masia.

Ye I think he did have the most successful passes over two legs, though ass you say, 20 passes isn't a real tester of his passing ability. He played brilliantly against Barcelona, he occupied the space well, he never broke ranks and he hustled and harried their midfielders when he needed to. He is a real grafter and he gives it his all, you cant fault his effort, Im not his biggest fan and I dont think he should be a starter but he is a very useful squad player.
-
I think the Barcelona game just played to his strengths, hard work and defensive positioning. He barely had the ball over the two legs so his sometimes head scratching passes never became an issue.

Very talented player, would be a god option on the right wing but his attitude would be a worry and I think there are other options out there who are either equal or better than him and wouldn't be the cause for concern that Ben Arfa is. Also that fight with Diaby has to be a fake, it looks completely staged, there seems to be a few different cameras, complete with nicely edited close ups.

It looks like Ronaldo is getting all of the hype to win it this year. While he did have a terrific individual season and his Madrid side did topple Barcelona in the league, I still think he needs a strong Euro 2012 to really cement himself as the best player in the world in 2012, Madrid's failure in the Champions League will count against him. Players who should have won it? Thierry Henry probably should have won it, Im amazed that Xavi hasn't won it, if anyone deserves that award it is Xavi. Had Chelsea had a stronger Champions League campaign in our double winning season under Ancelotti I think Drogba might have been in with a shout of winning it.

I really thought he would be a bit like Robben, but inconsistent but truly top class, however he is slowly morphing into Kalou, ridiculously frustrating. He has all the tools, speed, skill, decent body strength, a good shot but he just can't put it all together at the moment, I hope he does but at the moment I see this going the way of Kalou.
-
Would be a good buy, young, quick and direct, something we could do with on the flanks, I don't think he would be an automatic starter but I wouldn't be surprised if he worked his way into the starting eleven. Hopefully we return with a second bid, surely we could get him for under 15 million.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but.....

Looks like its going to be Di Matteo according to just about every newspaper about and it's on the Sky Sports site too. The talk is that it will be a 1 year deal with an option for a second year. I think this is the best way to have it, if it works and he delivers what Roman expects and in the manner he expects it then we can keep him, if not then he can move for Guardiola or somebody else. Very happy for Di Matteo, deserves his chance after what he did last season, hopefully we can get 1 or 2 more signings to assemble a team that can really challenge for the league and in Europe.

What does the Abola article say?
-
I quite like it, though I love the home kit with the gold trim so that is the one I will definitely be opting for this year.
-
Ye a deep lying playmaker would be nice but even if we don't get one, they didn't have the likes of Mata, Hazard and Hulk at Luverpool, that's fair compensation for the lack of an Alonso I'd say.
-
I agree that next season is the pivotal one in Fernando's Chelsea career. Drogba is gone so he is now the undisputed first choice striker, he will have the world class talents of Mata, Hazard and (hopefully) Hulk supplying him, there cant be any more excuses, the whole thing is being set up to get the absolute best out of him. How will he do? I think he will succeed. I think those expecting the Torres of his early Liverpool days will be left disappointed, I dont think he can actually play that way anymore simply because he doesn't have the pace he did but I think he can adapt his game. He still has got pace, it's just not as blistering as it was, his movement is excellent, his overall game actually looks better now than it did at Liverpool, his touch and ability to bring others into play have been impressive. All he needs now are the goals, I think he will get them and go on to prove himself to be worthy of the main striker spot at Chelsea.
-
As has been said above, Munian is a very talented player playing in an exciting Bilbao side but for me he is a bit too similar to Mata and Hazard. Hulk has the skill and technique to play in a fluid attacking system but he also has the physicality to give our play a different aspect, with Mata, Hazard and Munian we might suddenly start looking a little "Arsenal" in attack.
-
Meireles isn't likely to be played out wide. Malouda might be sold. Piazon won't be catapulted into the first team yet.
-
The tweet about Jordan Henderson made me laugh, they really are a deluded bunch. I was talking to one the other day who genuinely believed that Liverpool were going to announce Pep Guardiola as manager, he was so disappointed with Brendan Rodgers that I ended up trying to console him, bringing up his work at Chelsea, that just made the Liverpool fan even more disappointed.
-
As has been said below, we could have over 60 games next season, not everyone will be fit and available for those games and Kakuta can play left wing, right wing and behind the striker, will he be the first choice replacement? No, but he would definitely get enough playing time to justify keeping him at the club this season.
-
That sounds great and looks wonderful on paper but that might be the most open midfield I've ever seen, even Arsene Wenger would be skeptical of that midfield.
-
Im gonna opt for the old TX argument that he will block Kakuta's progress. This upcoming season is definitely the one in which Kakuta should be a first team member of the squad, he should certainly take Malouda's role in the squad. Benayoun was a fine stop-gap at the time, a shame that he got injured when he did but Id much rather we give any first team minutes that might come Benayoun's way this season to Kakuta.
