Mate your acting like he has never played against decent Europe opposition, this guy scored 2 quality headers against Ajax and he has also scored against one of the Portuguese teams. He has experience in Europe and he has scored 2 goals against Russia, he completely bullied the Russian defence in that game i watched it. He gives us a threat in the air and he is also fast and he can hold the ball up, i know he is only 18 but he has already played in big games and he has done well. His qualities could of helped us a lot, he is young and hungry and he is experienced for an 18 year old.

Kalou just loses the ball consistently though, i would rather play a diamond formation then keep the 4-3-3 if it meant Kalou was going to start. Kalou fucks our attacking flow all the time because he cant control a football. Lukaku could of given us an option upfront with his searing pace and his ability to get himself in the 6 yard box, he can also hold the ball up. Now we have to rely on Anelka who just turns up when he wants and Kalou who just gives the ball away. I swear if Kalou gets in the team ahead of Danny this season we should have an Egypt like uprising outside the bridge. Kalou is not Chelsea quality, he is a poor player who magically keeps getting into our side even though he has been substituted before half time TWICE for being a playmaker for the opposition.

Kalou must be the best player in the history of the world in training. He just keeps getting the nod even though he cant control a ball. At least Sturridge is in the squad lol but it would of been nice to of seen Lukaku !

Why do we always do this ? We always let ourselves down when trying to fix our problems. Yet another season with no playmaker or right sided winger. You know what the sad part is ? We will probably go on and win trophies this season and it will paper over the cracks like in 2009-2010. We are appalling in the transfer market, its just shocking to see. If it were not for signing Mata i would of lost hope a long time ago.

I will give him a chance but i am not expecting him to improve our midfield put it that way. We have just signed another non creative midfielder, teams just have to sit back against us and we will not open them up unless Josh gets in which looks unlikely. We have no creative midfielders what so ever and that should of been the priority but we always do this, We still don't have a decent natural winger and we have needed that since Duff/Robben. We take years to sort out out problems and it sucks.

Yes but we have just signed a player just for sake of signing someone. What will he add to our team ? We probably spent more for him then arsenal have for Arteta and we needed Arteta more. I am so disappointed with this signing, the only good that can come from this is if he benches Lampard. Raul can not play a through ball but he can score goals, we don't need a 28 year old replacement for Lampard !
