romeu was great for spain u20 in the same world cup oscar starred in. but im pretty certain camacho would of gone ahead of him even if he was fit. camacho is a fine player.

the only flaws IMO are a possible lack of stamina and over reliance on his right foot. other than that he is a suitable defensive mid in a 4-3-3 provided the other 2 midfielders are of high quality.

sami khedira wins on average 2 tackles a game. illaremendi wins 3.8. far less fouls? khedira makes 1.2 compared to his 1.5 hardly astronomical and their supposed to rack up tackles as you said so there is no problem here. and khediras passing is 1% higher despite playing in a much better team who has more possession. and illaremendi averages quite allot more passes per game

he anchors the midfield and has fantastic passing and can tackle well. what else are you expecting? thiago is the playmaker for spain u21 just like someone like oscar would be for us in a midfield 3.

we cant just put out some kids in midfield vs toure and fndinho. these guys need to mature and develop in the premier league at another club like lukaku to prove themselves. and then come back when they have a realistic chance of being good enough to play for us.

oriol is 21 and always injured , chalobah is 18 like i said , and josh is 20 and nowhere near good enough and needs to perform better in the championship before he is considered for a higher level. this guy has had a brilliant season in la liga and helped his team to 4th spot and is simply far more ready than all 3 put together. he is the same age ramires was when he was signed.
