34 minutes against Real Sociedad, should be possible , indeed amazing... considering he was only 6th keeper at Genk in season 2008/2009... even for the best keepers it would usually take 10 years orso (keepers are usually at their best around 28-30 yo) to achieve something that...

The rumour: http://www.elcentrocampista.com/2013/02/chelsea-closing-in-on-la-liga-star/ Courtois already made a statement about this rumour(Has been going on since our defeat vs Atl. Madrid): http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/feedarticle/10661678 Anyways 47M + Courtois(70/80M?) vs Falcao whom we might not even need? Would be ridiculous considering fair play rules + we should strengthen CM first if anything, doubt much money will be left like that :/. -

Thats not quite fair, hes more grown up, mentally, than the likes of bolatelli/hazard/oscar/ torres ... for example + his work attitude is already better than most of our players. Also in his latest interview (see his personal topic) he explained all this and was getting fed up being called a kid an therefor getting less chances than other players, you also should know that he already made his debut at Anderlecht at the age of 16 yo and played more than 100 games on a high level... and for me once your passed 18 your not an kid anymore anyways, although some may still be a kid mentally when they are 25 ... I doubt a "kid" could become the first foreign teenager in a league like this to score that much... (I am right aye? Only owen and fowler scored more?) I guess players will feel better if they have some people/friends they can speak with in their native language, whom they also know from youth and 1st squad @ national team, also in case of Belgium for sure, they are all players with the same objective for their national team: getting as good as possible to be sure they are selected for it + qualify for WC, if you can also work on that at clublevel thats very nice i guess. Also almost all our internationals play in the premier league, don't think thats a coincidence

Another idea might be Rudi Garcia, perhaps someone else can give more intel on him? As i myself dont know him that good, but from what i've seen from some of lille's games his playstyle is offensive/ lots of pressing and leans heavely on positioning which means our offensive players wouldnt have to run like crazy/backtrack all the time anymore. Kinda like Klopp's Dortmund. Hes good with youth, examples: hazard, cabaye, gervinho, debuchy... So well dont know...

Yeh its kinda weird Marin didnt get more chances by now to prove himself :/ sucky at training? As for Hazard, well he doesnt get the right balls at the right times as a winger, everything he has to force by himself / has to do things way to difficultly at the moment, but that will only become better once they know eachother better/we get a better coach that has a clue about positional play. Btw we should stay on topic or move this to Belgian NT topic

And DeBruyne is further in his development than piazon, still leif, carrying a team in a top 3/4 league is good enough to make the step to ours directly i think, enough examples, but yeh it will depend on our possible signings anyways.
-
² hes prolly most important player for them next to De Bruyne, they will have to watch out tho next season :/ (if De Bruyne doesnt come back)
-
Yeh , Arnautovic can be good but very inconsistent.

1-1 endscore, beautiful assist

Subbed 80th minute, nice round of applause, job well done!
-
Too bad for him, woulda been great for his stats/top scorer list.
-
+ watching the mazacar combo, when it works, in full action can be pretty awesome already.

I am cheering for the following lineup: Azpi--Cahill/Iva/Luiz--Terry--Cole ------- Luiz/Lampard - Mikel ----- ---------Mazacar----------- -----------BA---------------- Terry cuz for me he we was the only one doing well against Bucharest. Mikel to keep tabs on Kagawa (will prolly play) and/or Rooney. Luiz (or Lampard) to be the well needed link between Defence and Oscar (or another AM) And well BA instead of Torres.. duh. If we dont plan to/if we cant link up properly, like in Bucharest, we may as well not put Hazard/Oscar on the field and go with Moses/Lampard. Then i would go for: Iva- Cahill -Terry--Cole ------- Luiz - Mikel ----- Mata---Lampard---Moses -----------BA----------------

I would only get him if : 1) we are tempted to buy another striker, but dont want to spend 50M to get someone like Cavani 2) we want 1/2 midfielders Because then he could play (well) on both positions. Any other situation i would go for witsel/modric... as a midfielder.

We should loan him to Werder Bremen instead of KDB next year, if he can manage there...

Gratz Peace !!!

Same , except for the winger part, i think Marin should get a proper chance first + De Bruyne can also play wide by the way if needed (yeh what cant he do?!) especially since we don't use out and out wingers. (And we shouldn't , ours are too good technically/creatively) Also Piazon could get 1st team gametime if he is ok with playing 20 minutes/game. In your example he could sub Moses or Hazard if needed @ minute 65/70 to gain experience... which could happen quite often as wingers get subbed the most. Next to that the early rounds in cups/EL. (if we fail in CL or dont qualify) Would be the same way Hazard played his first year @ Lille and that didnt turn out bad -
He prolly would do good, but its not logical to not pick him as a winger with our current lineup, btw just check out first 3 matches of the season if you want to rate him on that position. A option could be something like this tho: 1st half Mata and Oscar switch between LAM and AM (hazard RAM), 2nd half hazard LAM and Oscar switch between LAM and AM If Mata or Oscar doesnt play they should switch positions often imo.
-
I would try it the other way, since their attack is strongest department, just go all out, play high + put lots of pressure on their rather weak midfield/defence!!!! We have proven we can play like that and if we are clinical... . We cant play defensively tho cuz than we will have almost no chance i think. http://i.qkme.me/3phyvd.jpg

Would be rather boring + might stall those players mentioned above + cause them to leave... . -

As for the youth in general + new signings, an all-round midfielder (also good in tackling n stuff) might come in handy, for the rest we can solve things with our current players/players on loan i think. Signing more AM's would even do more harm than good i think... we already have 4/5 potential worldplayers on those positions. -

Well at the moment he's more used to play as AM or LAM (Plays like that at werder) and Genk last years. But he might be even better as DLP, although he might need more experience first to be really relieable in such a role. In our NT he sometimes plays like that tho, and does (very) well. As long as we have lots of possesion i think we will do great then, not sure what would happen if we are having a tough time tho, he might need more getting used to it then(perhaps in pre-seaon?).
