  1. Just finished A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, was for school but LOVED it, became one of my favorite books. Next up, i have the whole wheel of time package from R Jordan waiting for me (got it this new year) but phew will need to wait after my exams to begin that one, 12529 pages...
  2. Think our amigo can use a rest against Bucharest Been playing the most out of mazacar recently.
  3. I think Hazard/Moses as a false 9 doesnt suit the PL and would get destroyed by the likes of stoke, in spain yeh would be great i think but here in the PL ... also a reason messi never scores against italian/english oposition (away).
  4. Keep this interview (been 6 months now orso) between your ears ya'll , he doesnt give many There had been suggestions that Courtois, 20, would be used as a makeweight in the possible transfer of striker Radamel Falcao to Stamford Bridge, but the young Belgian has denied that speculation. “A lot of things the press say are nonsense. They are guessing,” he told the Evening Standard newspaper. “They know Chelsea want Falcao but Chelsea have told me, ‘The last thing we want to do is sell you’. Maybe they are lying to me but I don’t think so. “It was strange joining Chelsea but when I signed for them I knew I would be loaned out to a team. They had a five-year plan for me. I only went to Chelsea to take my medical. I then went straight to Atletico and had a good year so I preferred to stay for another year.” Regarding his future plans, Courtois confirmed that his ambition remains to replace Cech as Chelsea’s long-term No. 1. However, despite his impressive displays at Atlético, he believes it may be 2015 before he is needed by his West London employers. “Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and I think I am an up and coming young talent with the quality maybe also to play for Chelsea,” he is quoted by the Evening Standard. “They will continue with Cech for two more years, I believe. “The problem is I think that Chelsea didn’t expect me to be at this level this soon. I’ve developed really quickly. It’s a very good situation for Chelsea.” In 18-months at the Vicente Calderon, Courtois has featured 82 times for Atlético in all competitions. His performances have seen him touted with a permanent stay at the club, while a move to Barcelona has also been rumoured in some media outlets.
  5. Well thats also because there is not enough equality in the world, sadly enough. Its kinda the same as we were before 1800, people weren't educated, kept stupid and therefore easely manipulated.
  6. I will be generalizing now... Goh they also dont like asians/muslims... only themselfs, pretty sad. Also you should see religion as a fairytale, you can take some leasons from it but don't take it literally!
  7. It has got to be between Suarez & RVP Bale was way to inconsistent, just last 3 months he was (very) good. If he's included, Hazard fe should be too... so for me its between RVP & Suarez RVP last 10 games were not so good, he had an amazing start, but kinda went quiet (especially when they needed him the most, against RM) in 2013 Suarez helped his team the most by making more important goals troughout the season, so im going with him. for me: 1 Suarez 2 RVP 3 Mata 4 Bale 5 Cazorla / Hazard OT: Mata had a good game, to bad De Gea had to make his save of the year against Mata's attempt to seal it for us
  8. Where am i comparing them? I am just saying that Mikel would be better for Arteta's job at Arsenal because then they wouldnt get pwnd every time they dont have loads of possesion. In other words i think Arsenals midfield is way too offensive.
  9. Yeh same, wouldnt mind Cabaye would be a good and cheaper option than the likes of witsel/modric etc Prolly with the idea to go to a better team in 1/2 years + to get used to the PL.
  10. Perhaps, i would ask tho, also usually you have options to buy a cheap/decent laptop at the uni itself.
  11. Ok, its our aim to be sure spike is broke after this?
  12. One of belgian's finest this morning 10 cm of unexpected snow resulted in 1600 km of traffic jam...
  13. Also isn't there a minimum of english players there has to be in a squad? And this is not very unlikely, but what if cole/lampard/terry are gone in 3 years? I think he would be a great signing for us because, well we lack english football players and i think he's one of the best english players out there (that can also play for national team already) so i can see him as an addition for our squad already without loaning out. I personally thought he didn't sign a new contract yet so he wouldn't be that expensive at the moment, seems he did few months ago tho so guess we can aswell wait a year or 2 and see how he turns out.
  14. Yeh but he can adjust that no? He also has good defensive skills so figured he can change his playstyle a bit to make that work.
  15. I doubt it, we dont need that much Pretty sure Witsel wants to leave so yeh also he's not performing that great, not as good as with Benfica, so perhaps Zenit wants to sell but wont be for less than they bought him... he would be perfect for us tho.
  16. For our pivot! + we can use another english player... Could go Mikel - Wilshere / KDB - Ramires - Lampard then.
  17. Against top-teams it doesnt work tho, they are both great players (well arteta is good but not great) but arteta in the holding role is just too offensive, they dont fit together if they dont have much possesion (Bayern fe), heck even barca has busquests...
  18. gonna go with arsenal! arsenal (with wilshere/cazorla/arteta) i think mikel would be better for them than arteta in that midfield(their usual) on topic: i have bigger worries than mikel's role for our team, he fits in nicely with our more attacking players and im not going to disagree there are better midfielders but it wouldnt improve us much if we buy a world-class player to play the same role mikel does
  19. Best streaker in football! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgO-pQBo68w Hope he recuperates tho...
  20. Yeh on that department he kinda looks like him, also helps with link-up play / defence when his side is having trouble on their own side (although i wouldnt like this at national team/Chelsea tho, should stay up front then so they have someone to hold the ball when they want to counter), and yeh he has been a trouble for most defences, liverpool(twice) sure will agree on that one .
  21. Hello Jim, first off, nice forum you have made here! Q tho, recently i cant use my Opera browser anymore to reply... you have any idea sup?
  22. Because Hazard played / can play in the same role as Kagawa does, vice versa not, just because Hazard is simply that much better! (well no, not that much better as a 10, but you can compare them )
  23. Again... i asked for an explanation and you basically call me stupid? Who should learn to behave? And man seriously im going to quit now because its too easy.
