Since servia dembele mainly played as DM tho, but our midfield switches positions very often so doesn't really matter. (Same role as with tottenham) Under leekens it was simons and witsel was a 10 then

I see, well yeh, our attacking-minded players would need to do less defensive work, i agree on that but i dont think it would work with those 2... Songs passing/vision is decent but not good enough to go with mikel for the role you have in mind, our linkup/possesion play against defensive teams would be terrible i think.

Yep thats the way to go if we dont sign anyone, could become superb once oscar and Kdb get used to it, they can solve it defensively by good positioning, especially with Mikel, they both have the awareness/intelligence to do that, btw in pl you have to use a targetman i think, did any team try playing with a false 9 already anyways? I have no idea? Song isn't needed btw :/ we have mikel or luiz/ake(or other youthplayer) as backup, we need a complete midfielder (also good in passing/ with vision)

Perhaps a good speaker, like Bayerns fe could help to get things started?. To get some excitement going at the start, same thing we did in belgium at standard (sclessin) which made a big difference. (they started a party but well, good example to get the folks warmed up in winter)

Well he can play as DM, even a very good one @ standard, @our NT Possible positions (in order of preference): CM all roles really (B2B, DLP, Holding (he has the tackle skills & str, like you mentioned)) 10 RM Right back even! @ those slamming Oscar, have patience, kinda normal a player has a dip now and then at that age, and he can handle the intensity, he has proven that in the CL games also you should consider last month, since the first game against praga he played 8 games (even against brentford/middlesbrough, all of them almost 90 minutes, which is a game each 3.5 days / 2 a week, which is too much i think, i dont get why he doesnt get protected more by benitez, at this rate he will burn up by the begin of april and then it gets tough....

Mata/Cole had a great game but Hazard MOTM for me because although he didn't make that much difference goal/assist wise, his running with/without the ball and keeping 3/4 steaua players buzy pretty much the whole game, his availability, link up play did make the difference i feel.

Yeh same, pretty sure KDB is ready, seeing how hazard is doing. For me , with the current players we have its (im going to simplify now..): DM: Mikel / Romeu / Ake DLP/Box to Box (depending on the game): KDB / Rambo / Lampard/ Josh(if you think he's ready?) Always a DM with DLP/BoxToBox and no 2 DLP/BoxtoBox together with this team for sure to keep balance (see manu first half vs 2nd)... --- Now as for signing one, i would go for 1 top midfielder that can be both, DM and DLP/Box to Box... of the players you named in that list Witsel/Modric and DeRossi come closest to what i feel we need. About Luiz, he tends to play the best in games we have lots of possesion in, so when the team gets better he will get better i feel. On signing another CB, i dont know, do we have someone in the youth that can play some games at CB next season? Also if we buy a CB i would take a left footted one that can also play at LB so we also have a good cover for A.Cole.
