Yeh this season was no good, but he didn't get a fair chance either i feel. And yeh, his first year at arsenal was awesome, even scored quite a few.

I got to agree with santiago on this one tho (kinda unusual for me )...past 5 years spanish midfield, xavi/iniesta are/were amazing/the best and fabregas/thiago will be proper successors, although in few years ours will be best, obviously!

Heh once he leaves Arsenal he will prolly be instantly his good old self again, not his fault arsenals defence/defensive midfield are crap. If you judge him do it on his first year at Arsenal, last year he had lots of injuries and then comming back out of form in such a team... wouldve been strange if he got back to his usual self like that.

Since servia dembele mainly played as DM tho, but our midfield switches positions very often so doesn't really matter. (Same role as with tottenham) Under leekens it was simons and witsel was a 10 then

I see, well yeh, our attacking-minded players would need to do less defensive work, i agree on that but i dont think it would work with those 2... Songs passing/vision is decent but not good enough to go with mikel for the role you have in mind, our linkup/possesion play against defensive teams would be terrible i think.

But why do you want 2 holding midfielders? :/ Song aint a rambo upgrade imo, in my opinion if you compare him do it with mikel... + KDB doesnt need a free role to make the difference.
