ow yeh, but was thinking dishes now about chocolate and belgium, way to much to start
-
I see, will have to look into that once Some typical Belgian kitchen dishes: beefstew with frites or steak with frites Moules with frites (& stella or other belgian beer ) (dont know translation for next ones) Gentse waterzooi (fish with vegetables) Hutsepot (vegetable mix) onion soup with bread/cheese
-
Nice half the time i eat italian or indian rice, pasta, couscous (the food so nice they named it twice )
-
Wish i could dislike that one
-
Choulo whats the difference between lebanese and indian kitchen(which i love) in terms of herbs?? In india they use stuff like coco milk, curcuma, basil, kerry, parsley, thyme , rhosemary..., kinda the same in lebanon or totally different?

Was mainly wondering what the bacon thingie was, torresmo, ic... The soup sounds delish

What are those in bottom-right?

Reason why this was build, was to find the Higgs boson part, (small part of an atom) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boson http://www.uslhc.us/ http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/blog/2009/sep/22/particlephysics-cern http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-19076355 Now they invested 8000 000 000 dollars to build it 286million dollars/year (for power) What do they do there? Look for that higgs part which would explain a lot in chemy/fysics and improve our knowledge a lot (which could fe make us able to leave our galaxy(not saying that will be possible)) by shooting elements using 7 billion electrovolt (7TeV), and those elements reach close to 99,999 996 4% of lightspeed. Do you think its worth it, or should they have invested the money in other, more pressing matter first? Fe invest in climate change?
-
Unless they can go faster than light! But i think other intelligent life could be possible yeh, galaxy is quite big
-
That's one for stingray

Well you have parots that can talk, bats that use sonar, animals that can fly (which we can't do), we were (very) lucky our intelligence got devoloped that well, and main reason is to be found when we switched from walking on 4leggs, to 2 leggs & 2 hands, that way we could start using weapons/make fire... and we were more and more buzy doing "intellectual" things
-
LHC @ geneve, while we are talking sience, what do you think of this beauty, was it worth building it?
-
Yeh check my edit
-
At the moment you could say that but really thats kinda in short-term, what if in lets say 500 years our inter glacial period is over and we have a worthy ice age again? (we are in an ice age atm)
-
Yeh but it would be logical tbh, if you consider our whole history + Darwins idea's Well got to edit: Have to say Mendel's ideas (thats where he jumps in) -> domination.
-
As? Nice btw!
-
Nah, Einstein was just very smart If we follow Darwins theory, intelligence would only improve.
-
Partially yeh i study nature science-enverinmont in general which includes: astronomy/biology/fysics/geology... & this combined with environment psychology is not quite included in that one
-
be sure to take origin of species and not his beagle trip then (unless your interested to know how he found that stuff)
-
Guess you know my field now

For startes you need to know we have 2 eon's precambrium and cambrium, before cambrium there was no intelligent life at all (cambrium started 500 million years ago). Earth was created +/- 4000 million years ago. Im going to follow the "human tree" now or this will take to long. small entitiy's like bacteria n stuff evolved into (now we are around 500 mill years ago) http://www.google.be/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=4GsDhswSApgsZM&tbnid=uH_dbbq3qtd0cM:&ved=0CAgQjRwwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.brembs.net%2Fgould.html&ei=xqVNUdHMAc7CPOy7geAF&psig=AFQjCNGSyU_h5wwNaeCOgTndSj-8b4m62A&ust=1364129606080174 http://www.google.be/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=cambrium+life&source=images&cd=&cad which involved into http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSt4UxJxfgemf2u7FH846uMbA80SaNfVfIAbSdm1l0twSvIXbGzjw due to life becomming more and more intelligent, those fish wanted to get outof the wather and do something else, hence the creation of amfibia http://admin.harunyahya.com/malaysian/images_evolution/31.jpg after this, the first reptiles came http://www.google.be/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=reptiles+paleozoic&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=3Xxzs4jDtXSSeM&tbnid=vufnZSf_T-4wkM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sleepingdogstudios.com%2FNetwork%2FEarth%2520Science%2FES_13.2B_files%2Fslide0031.htm&ei=_aZNUbSkL4Oe0QXI5IDIAw&bvm=bv.44158598,d.d2k&psig=AFQjCNG1KCYVpzkjZCR-XQFSNgWl1EEp4w&ust=1364129907556239 which evolved in dinosaurs & mammals (we are in mesozoic era now) http://www.google.be/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=mesozoic+life&source=images&cd=&cad dino's went instinct, prolly due to a massive comete impact @ yellowstone US mammals evolved into ape's and then those figured they did'nt need 4 legs , 2 were enough to walk and some ape's evolved into human-apes and after that into humans (homo sapiens sapiens). If you want to learn how this was possible, i suggest you reading some Darwin/Mendel And if you want to get into something, feel free to pm me.

Why you like oparin that much? It's not that he did history-breaking discovery's? He used Darwins/Mendels theory's which was later followed by the next big discovery in biology, DNA/RNA by Watson and Circk...

Go get them! Rooting for ya tuesday
