I'm worried and also intrigued by what will happen with Frank come end of the season. Moutinho is a very good player, no doubt about that but I worry about what route Lampard is going whether it be out the door or staying. He looked really off IMO, last night. I'd love him to stay but I am not so sure, and maybe Moutinho can be the answer.

The big picture is, that with any transfer there is an element of risk attached, no matter who it is or how good they are. Chelsea right now, and in my opinion need a top class striker end of story. This exactly why the finger points directly at people such as Falcao, Cavani and Lewandowski even if we haven't had solid links to Lewandowski he still remains a top striker right now. I here people saying Falcao has only scored penalties etc etc but I am sorry I have seen and watched this guy since his days at Porto and to a point on another forum I mentioned we should be looking at him when he was playing in the Dragao. I had the fortune of going to a game in Porto and specifically had eyes for him and he was sensational, absolutely sensational. His movement (which we don't have now), pace and finishing was bordering on world class, and that isn't a word I use a lot. It's quite annoying that it takes a transfer from Porto to Atletico and a fee of possibly 50M for us to recognise his talent but I tell you what, we will be buying an incredible striker, yes he is in the higher heavens of his twenties but I have no doubt that this bloke will be a hit here. In no way am I disagreeing with anyone about the statements of 'He isn't proven in England' etc, but not many are when coming from abroad, but what separates him from the rest is what I have seen first hand and live.......He has the lot. Jose and Falcao......why yes of course.

People raging about the PM speaking out about this. So what the PM spoke out, he and his lad probably love football as much as us, and I can totally relate to what he is saying about the example it sets, as I have a lad myself of similar age. Can't disagree mate, your about right. Going back to Frank I think it typifies us in a nutshell really. He could fire 40 yard balls and find the feet of a wing back but struggled to pass it five yards, basics...... Still, we came out with a victory and we are very much in control.

I thought Hazard was OK, but felt his control was poor when it was played into him, but he made up for that with some nice mazy dribbles. Frank was awful last night, he gave it away a lot and looked incredible leggy all game.

Yet people are still moaning about him, why? I don't think people actually realise he was bought to be squad player but aside from that point he is actually a very good footballer and puts in a shift, not only that, has done everything asked of him since he signed. I think people are snobs at times when it comes to people signed under 15M, it's as if it's beneath them and so damn easy for them to criticise before a ball was even kicked. He has scored, assisted and work very hard............some people are so hard to please.

I was expecting a lot more from Basel if I am honest, but also more of our finishing. Cannot afford to approach the second leg with a 'we can't lose' attitude and we must have more cutting edge. Very pleasing to win and get two away goals but it's not over and focus is key.
