  1. Every manager now is striving to be another SAF, but football and owners now won't allow it, SAF is old school, there is him and then the rest simple as that. You are speaking to me as if I don't want stability, I do but on the flip side you think it guarantees success and it doesn't.
  2. No, I don't assume we won the CL because we sacked AVB, we won the CL because we refused to die and never give up. I wasn't comparing us with Arsenal I was using the fact that sticking with one manager doesn't guarantee anything, using them as a perfect example.
  3. Yes we need stability, but we sacked AVB and won the CL, Arsenal would crave for something like that. After all, they have stuck with Wenger and won fuck all. Funny isn't it?
  4. Has Bale been named in the nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize too?
  5. So what if he loves Liverpool, we have a bloke in charge here who was waving at the fucking Kop a few weeks back. Alonso would do a job here, lets worry about what is best for the team rather than who they love or don't.
  6. Spurs have been linked to Damiao nearly as much as us to Neymar.
  7. We will, but getting people like Alonso will not harm our very stale midfield who at times struggle to dictate games due to a lack of basics like passing and control. Alonso would give us that, we need someone in midfield who can dictate and and keep play ticking over. This would be a very clever move for us this.
  8. Mata- Only solid consistent performer for me, that doesn't mean others haven't had their moments but too many have peaked and then dropped off a lot. David Luiz has been great lately but he suffered from a massive dip in form and basics went missing. Mata is a just a joy to watch, absolute joy. And when he isn't there it is clear how good his first touch is just by watching others needing two touches to get it under control when it takes him one and that leads to an assist. Top class footballer.
  9. Be solid, don't be scared, get at them, we will score. End/
  10. When it comes to the Daily Star I am quite surprised they have the day and date correct.
  11. I have seen nothing to suggest that Bertrand is miles ahead of Shaw what so ever.

  13. Had a little smile seeing Cesc walking off crying.
  14. Not any worse than we already have, in fact he would probably be a massive improvement. At the right price, yes.
  15. I love all the different headlines..."Toying with Roman" blah blah blah
  16. Yet had it been one of ours he would of been at court, kicked out of football and hung in the press. Too nice us sometimes, I would of crushed and crippled him all the way to court this fucker.
  17. Song....."Ya can shove ya tiki taka up your arse, ya can shove ya tiki taka up your arse" Ha ha.
  18. Wonderful night, enjoy it Blatter, your golden boys got smashed.
  19. Trying to make out as if they were doing us a favor....what a complete tin pot empire they are.
  20. He was sent on loan for a reason, he was poor, not only that he needed game time to recover this was a decent move but you won't see the Essien of old again, not a chance. Before he went his passing was some of the worst I have ever seen, even worse than that of Ramires at times.
  21. Still are in shit form, only a few weeks ago they had something like seven points from a possible 42 or something like that. People like Ishmael Miller, Marvin Emnes and Sammy Ameobi are not even Championship players, completely car crash footballers.
  22. The people who go on about contracts etc are the same people who post a link from the Daily Mirror on another topic regarding transfers.
  23. Boro have had a completely horrific season, I have been a few times this season to watch Josh and he has done fine for me. The big picture is this Boro team has been nothing short of horrific since the turn of the year and Mowbray has completely lost his way.
  24. Contracts in football mean about as much as a failed betting slip.
