Still reading lots of negativity on here, it's as if nobody can be happy anymore with a win and everything has to be stripped down and people are looking for things to moan at. A very professional job done last night, I'm pleased for Torres and hope he can produce that and more, I think that just may of gotten him a start against Spurs looking at Jose's reaction at HT. Quite easy to underestimate these sort of team at this stage of the competition and we did everything and more to make sure it wasn't a banana skin. Absolute class goal from Ramires, I have said it before and will say it again I think he is the best finisher at the club I really do. Thought Mata did well considering the lack of game time and also thought Willian did well showing a great turn of pace and unlucky not to score. Another step closer to Wembley........Carefree!!!

United need to get back to out and out wingers. They spent nigh on all summer chasing a midfield player, and rightly so but the identity the have lost is what has been their trademark for years.......chalk on the boots wingers. Valencia has been shoved at right back, and let's be honest he was one of those players selected against us he always gave us a rough ride, he's a clever player but only as a right winger, not RB. It's just too central for united right now.....Carrick, Fellaini, Cleverley and Rooney are all squeezed in to one area with no outlet.

By the way watching Fellaini yesterday United have been completely fleeced of 28M for him.....considering the position he played yesterday is the position where Kagawa should be, not Fellaini and how Ashley Young is still playing at this level is fucking beyond me.....he's shite.

Whilst Mata has won POTY two years on the bounce has anyone thought about what Jose actually is looking for? Right now Oscar is nigh on the perfect player playing the perfect role. He's scoring, creating and a constant menace to defences, not just this but his fitness levels are through the roof and his ability to actually track back and help out is sublime, that for me is exactly why he is starting ahead of Juan right now. And please don't say to me "So you hate Mata" No, no I don't, he a tremendous talent so in that should we ignore the quality of performances by Oscar already this season? Not a chance, he's been nothing short of immense.

Yes because air heads like Jamie Redknapp think Mata is the be all and end all when it's actually a whole team thing. If the people like Redknapp, Gullit, Merson et al care to listen to Jose they will understand what he is saying, but I think that might be a little difficult for them, you know to actually listen. These people sit in their ivory tower, just like the press and I am sure they just spout the first thing that enters their head without a grain of thought.

I agree, both interviews were very meticulous and some what in depth in his explanation to us and the two lads. I can totally see what Jose is saying but I am left baffled by people who think he isn't the right manager for us and also do not listen to what he is actually saying regarding who we are and what we are trying to achieve. People are over looking the fact the age and inexperience of some of our young kids that have been allowed to be blooded already by Jose, hence the calm dressing room approach.
