I see your point and agree but right now he is behind RvP, Rooney and Welbeck in the pecking order and with a club that can only be described as in 'Turmoil' He is one of those that would fit into the bracket of 'great squad addition' A bit like the chance we took with Eto'o, Chicharito would be an upgrade on Ba and Torres that would actually offer a lot. Whether it would happen is another matter, but it wouldn't be a stupid move IMO.

Mata needs to be behind a striker, and whilst Rooney, Welbeck and Rapist Van Persie are there he will continue to be shoved out wide.

Had to turn off the match build up on SKY last night, they were nigh on sucking Gerrard and Suarez off and claiming Liverpool deserve this at the very least.

The problem they have right now is the possibility of missing out on CL football, that will be a huge blow if that happened. The big players will be attracting the interest of the big teams also, the big money payers, the trophy winners, the trophy challengers, the big name managers....I mean christ on a bike even Liverpool look more attractive than United now. Look up problem in the dictionary and I am sure there will be a picture of Old Trafford next to it. -
It's not the money but were it's invested into. Whilst they have people like Moyes in charge there will be problems and people like the Glazer's who have no clue about what they are doing there will always be a rocking ship. United are rotten from top to bottom and this means a few 100M over summer and all will be fine, it won't be, period. The Ferguson factor was the biggest thing at that club, it's gone, and with it the whole outlook on football.

If there wasn't a set role for him he should never of been bought. I said at the time it was a purchase to appease the fans during what was back then, a difficult time. All this points to bad decision making, same as the Fellaini purchase, it smacked of the old friends act at the same as geeting completely ripped off. Manchester United have bought, but not wisely.

He was never quick, quick in mind but not in body. To me it's his body language already just a few months in, like whenever a team mate misplaces a pass or he himself does it drains him, a bit like playing a video game with a player energy bar, that whenever you get hit it takes a great chunk off. He's trying too hard, he's like Rooney just trying to do everything because others can't be arsed or are limited.

Fellaini and Jones can never be described as destroyers and Cleverley has a problem as he struggles to do anything basic at all. Evra is an accident on a match by match basis, Rooney is nigh on a defender because he drops so deep and as for Mata I'm not sure who looks more dumbstruck...him or Moyes.

Getting Shaw makes more sense than leaving Azpilicueta at LB. Whilst he has been unbelievable for us in that position he needs to be on the right with Shaw coming into the LB slot. The balance on both sides becomes both immensely strong and also the attacking threat would be something quite special. Shaw linking with Hazard and Azpilicueta with Willian or Schurrle etc.
