Whilst I agree with what you say he does need to up his game. On the other hand I also feel his work rate and pressing goes UN-noticed to many a follower of Chelsea. I was at the Bridge some weeks ago and was given the task of choosing one player to watch for the club team I run as an assessment on one player, I chose Willian. I can honestly say I was blown away with his energy off the ball and his ability to close down and pressure an opponent. This is his first full season and his game has changed dramatically since he was at Shaktar Donetsk. He was never asked to track back, pressure, close down or work to the rate he has done here. Jose is making him a different players to what he wants for the team.

The problem with Ramires is that he now struggles with the basics of football….Last night in Paris he committed an early and cynical foul because he was out smarted for the ball, that resulted in a yellow card, that then led him to be on edge all game. From that point on, his game was over. Ramires has the digits to the safe, but he struggles with numbers.

See this is what I love about Jose identifying Matic as his main target back in January, and look at how it's turned out. Matic has been a rock this season, and if people are just patient with Jose he will identify the right players for the right position over the summer and work his magic. We are three players short, that's all.

The point being missed is the fact we will be buying a top quality forward this summer, Romelu will not be number 1, we won't pay huge amounts for a forward and then bench him to be behind Romelu.

Not sure who it was during the game but we got a free-kick slightly away from central and who ever took it decided to float the ball in and stand it up back post, why? It needed to be put ala Lavezzi's delivery for the Luiz own goal, not floated in back post. Our free kicks at times are awful, the ball should be whipped in with pace and at the right height to really trouble defences, yet we choose to play these idiotic ball high and into the back post.
