  2. Yep, that's exactly the depth I am on about. You need top quality back up because you aren't just worried about suspensions etc but it's a 60 odd game season. We cannot, cannot believe that our back ups are adequate, we need someone else of quality and ship that twat Torres out. AAAAARGGGGHHHHHH
  3. Xavi has retired from international football.
  4. I have merged your post into this topic Clevemayer, it's more relevant here than starting a new topic.
  5. I agree. And whilst on paper our new purchases look superb and I am delighted with them so far this pre-season, the striker problem could be the area that could cost us winning the league/anything this season IMHO.

  7. I also heard a vicious rumor that Lamela has scored a goal this pre season.......Pochettino must be good.
  8. Problem being that after Costa it becomes thread bare, and I mean that with no disrespect to Drogba at all, and well errr we know what Torres is. Injuries and suspensions can happen but IMO there is a huge issue with our back up options. I mean we don't know exactly how Costa will do, he could be a flop, nobody knows at all for sure. I just feel we must some how, or some way get shot of Torres and bring in someone else.
  9. They can spend lavishly, of course they can. But we all saw how that ended up with Spurs last season. Too much too quick for me.
  10. Just seen the highlights of the game last night.....The first challenge on Sterling wasn't a penalty and it was given, then the challenge on Hernandez was a blatant penalty and wasn't given and the cross that hit the cross section of the goal, the ball went out, bounced back into play, Rooney tapped in, the ref gave it and then the linesman cancelled it out. Pre-season full of awesome refs and officials.
  11. Just saw the line up Liverpool started with last night and I honestly think they will struggle this season. Yes they have some good players like Coutinho but they haven't replaced Suarez as yet and to be honest they look awful at the back. That won't be quickly fixed by Manquilo either.
  12. On reflection we cannot possibly allow this guy to stay at this club, it has gotten that bad IMO. Jose must be, must be looking at another option, whether that be Cavani or anyone, but this bloke has to go.
  13. Oh right so i assume you have reported all these 'type of things' As it stands I am taking issue with you calling someone a 'bitter cunt' If you think that is fine then I worry about you, so take the easy option and calm down with the aggressive manner please. That is the last on the matter.
  14. Now I am all for one on one debate and logical reasoning but I won't have someone on here calling another member that, it's wrong and you know it. It's quite clear you want to rub people up the wrong way, this has become apparent with your comments here and your signature that was apparent only the other day. PM me if you have a problem with what I have said, I will quite happily iron out any of the creases you don't understand.
  15. I've heard his first touch is that bad it's classed as a shot
  16. Tell you what the old wankers in the media are going into over drive about this so called 'Crunch game' between United and Liverpool tonight in the home of soccer....the USA!!!! SSN every hour and on the half hour cannot shut the fuck up about. Ten minuted this morning dedicated to watching Van Gaal watching Rooney and co sitting on maternity balls and lifting weights
  17. I'll change the thread name to 'Places you have been'
  18. Welcome mate. Don't worry about your English I am sure we will all understand what your trying to say. Any problems then just ask, welcome to Talk Chelsea.
  19. I also think this will be a great season for the lad. He will of taken huge confidence from the WC and how well he did, and hopefully take that into our first game. I'd start him wide right and let Willian and Oscar fight it out for #10 role.
  20. This was the season we should of been moving away from Mikel IMO. Loaning out Romeu was a mistake in my eyes and using the words 'he adds experience' isn't enough for me to justify Mikel remaining. Romeu would of been a great option next to Matic or Fabregas when called upon. I just find this a very silly decision.
  21. Shame that, I would of loved to see him stay and Mikel go.
