  1. This is thing though. On one side we have Hazard who is direct and his first movement nine times out of ten is to drive at players, and on the other we have Willian. Now don't get me wrong I like Willian but if there is one player in our attacking 4 who will either slow down a counter or put their foot on the ball it's him. Cuadrado is being purchased for one reason and that's to rival Willian, and he will we all hope. I've grown slowly more frustrated with Willian as this season has gone on and I think this is the right move from the club to reignite something down that right side which for me has been poor.
  2. Regarding Frank and the reaction, I have said it before....If I was in control of the TV remote it would be on mute towards him. Sing nothing, shout nothing and cheer us on. Best way to annoy people is to celebrate in victory.
  3. I like Neville he's a really good pundit. I just hope continues talking sense and I say that away from a Chelsea point of view. He says what most of think, he needs to continue that and we need to hope the FA and Co follow a little bit of that blue print.
  4. Seeing lots of stuff on other forums absolute seething we have signed Cuadrado. One said "As If Chelsea weren't good enough, then they sign this guy"
  5. SKY saying he is on the train from Florence to Rome, where tomorrow at 7am he will board a private jet to London and finalise the deal.
  6. Really exciting player, can't wait to see him in action.
  7. I will tell you why people are annoyed at the FA and why they are blaming them. First of all, the word 'Intent' can you tell me exactly with any reasonable doubt that Costa meant that? No, I didn't think so. This incident was missed by nigh on everybody that night, from ref, fourth official, Rodgers and only the Liverpool players reacted when Can got up to remonstrate with Costa after the incident took place. Michael Oliver was asked to review video evidence the following day and make a call on the incident, now, at the speed this has transpired they haven't fucked around, he's walked into his office and said 'Yes, he's done it" ..... So, we have established he stood on him, but asking this question to Oliver puts a total different light on the situation "Mr Oliver, did Diego Costa stand on Emre Can with intent" How the fuck can you answer that, and if the answer comes from the top of his head or our of thin air then that's where the problem lies straight off. Officials are human, they get things wrong but this was asked as a second review, as soon as Oliver gives the verdict there is no going back and the ban inevitable. Us as fans are very straight forward people who want consistency in the game, we aren't getting it. Look at the Aguero incident on Luiz there is a simple between these two incidents in that one, Aguero goes in two footed, that in itself is a straight red, secondly he has eyes firmly fixed on Luiz with aggression in his face. Costa is not even looking at Can in this incident. I'm going to home to stamp on my dogs paw, I will immediately ask the wife if I meant it......She won't be able to answer it because she doesn't know I have done it with intent.
  8. Of course we need him but we need to be very careful that we do not make a small injury grow off the scale by risking him. Our squad depth is such that it will not harm for one game, if he has to miss the game. Matic and Ramires are more than capable of filling a role together in this game, no problem at all. I'm not for one minute disregarding the quality of Cesc but we must air on the side of caution when it comes to injuries no matter who it is.
  9. I cannot stand him and Rodgers, both on a very high scale for me.
  10. This it now, this is now the bar they must set for every single supposed stamp, kick out or even raised hand. This incident should be the focal point for every decision the FA make from now on.
  11. Getting more excited about this as time passes.
  12. BBC reporting personal terms agreed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31053727
  13. It's great he could be close to joining, I was going to change my username.......now I may not need too. :blue scalf:
  14. Ivanovic has been charged with jumping for a header and scoring against Liverpool to knock them out of the cup in midweek. Ivanovic has 48hrs to respond to the charge.
  15. Returned to a light session yesterday from reports.
