I think so as well, the papers will always mention City with any player that is linked with Chelsea from now on.

Bottom line is: Kalou is a mid-table team player who will provide a useful cross or pass from time to time..his finish is poor and has weak control of the ball. He's had more than enough time to improve his game so I won't expect anything more from him but having that said as long as he's a blue I will continue to root for him.

You'd be astounded if they kept stats and numbers of how many times Kalou misses a scoring opportunity, loses possession of the ball and failure to complete a pass.

Agreed, Essien may have the qualities to play CB but he won't be a huge improvement over Paulo tbh.

Because the same people never gave him the chance to show his strengths but jumped the gun to say that he was a bad signing for Chelsea.

I just ordered a Sturridge shirt couple days ago, sad to say I might wear it more than he will himself.

Drogba, finished? I highly doubt that's the case at the moment, he offers so much to the offense. Have you even seen Anelka play of late? Can't even time a run properly..

Indeed, my patience has been thin with Salomon...Sturridge is already mountains ahead of him in terms of skill and posture on the pitch and is far more productive with 20 minutes of playing time compared to Kalou's full 90. Really is unfortunate that Carlo doesn't recognize this....

I don't think thats the case but I did notice a couple times where he was wide open and was denied the ball

Ramires MOTM for me. Well done in the second half boys.

Lampard has been nonexistant so far but it's hard to ask much of him when he just came back not long ago.

Ramires hasn't played up to his expectations yet but I think he will turn out to be a fine player for us after a bit of time.

Ashley Young would definitely be a big upgrade on the right wing, but he won't be cheap.
