  1. why does JT never give interviews now ,, He is still our Captain isn't he ?
  2. 37 members online please read the post from Peace carefully ,, It deserves much more than a cursory glance.
  3. post what you want I can't delete your posts
  4. you actually play for yourself your pride in yourself ,, you achieve the best you possibly can ,, because that is why you play .. not the money not the badge but because you want to be the best you can . this applies to all sports and more importantly to life in general
  5. it must be him ,, he is a Belgium and talented
  6. I never mentioned Cech but I never heard him complaining of the others who left ,, His only comments were derogratry .. but I wont argue with you as .. you will give me warning points again for being provactive and aggressive
  7. well he got rid of KDB Lukaku ,, LuiZ Luis Bertrand ,, Mata Salah Schurrle Cuandradro Van Aarnholt so he has made a good start
  8. my bad memory his name is Sir Dave Brailsford ,, and you could be right ,, we are in a FUCKING DEEP BLACK HOLE
  9. the Beresford theory lots of small changes ,, in our case in the wrong the direction .. or The Butterfly theory which means we could be non league in 5 years
  10. the question to consider is WHY ,,,
  11. NO BIG signs lots of little signs .. Peace has identified most of them ,, SOMEONE at the club should have as well . Actually quite a lot of members expressed concern during preseason and the transfer window
  12. The Cycling guruDave Berresford worked on the principle that tiny % improvements in a number of areas led to overall great improvements in performances and results . His work tranfsormed British cycling from third rate to the Worlds best ... IMO the reverse principle also applies several small deteriorations leads to a major decline. Lack of rotation causing burn and fatigue. poor preaseason planning lack of encouragement of young players dreadful transfer window I think as Peace said earlier the signs were there last year .. we are fans not professionals ,, But looking at the success of Southampton with their lack of resources WHY did our Manager and management fail so badly . I read an article in The Times I think talking of the lack of use of consultants in football . It is true as well Jose chooses his assistants but they are hardly impartial . I wish we had someone like George Graham or even Souness acting in an advisory role
  13. maybe if we had got him boots with 6inch heels ???
  14. I dont want Zola back as manager ,, I dont believe he would do well .. I am sure he would be excellent in the A cademy
  15. No Luca did little the ones I mentioned did most
  16. is complacent the PC term for fucking retarded??
  17. whats the relevance of that question .. but my youngest son's favourite was Ray Wilkins and my eldest's was Joe Cole ,, BEFORE he became Judas .. My 2 favourites were Zola and Charlie Cooke ,, who were yours ,, of course I know your favourite manager isn't mine . I go back pre Roman
  18. the managers responsible for laying down the foundations for our success in the last 10 years were Hoddle , Gullit and RANIERI,,, I would bring Ranieri back with Hoddle as Director of Football and Gullit and Zola in charge of the Academy
  19. But when the problem IS THE MANAGER ....
  20. perhaps November 5th ... a quite special night a bonfire of the Vanities
  21. When he goes our young players may finally get a chance and our creative players allowed to express themselves
  22. Thanks @Peace for an analytical view of the reasons for our current state ,, In addition to the Spurs game I would also mention the Bradford melt down ,, That followed by the Spurs seemed to trigger a chain reaction .. imo there is no way he can turn this round .. This is not player power either , It is a manager losing the respect of his players .
  23. Its a very sad day when the scousers can truly own the moral high ground
