  1. Do what we should've done last season, prepared for the future and transition of the squad.
  2. Always liked Jack, sour in him leaving but I guess it's the best decision for him. Always thought he could've been a squad player with ease though
  3. ? Just because his name is simply Ashley Cole you mean?
  4. Good post, wasn't that the plan last season though? Realistically to me that was the plan, out with the old, in with the new. The plan didn't work though. I think if we keep these guys and bring in more people it would be good, and then after next season have more of a clear out. With a new manager coming in we're going to get that 6 months where everyone plays fantastic anyway...
  5. This is so true. I have no hope for any young players at Chelsea.
  6. It's a real shame. The crowd will be so different next season. I still haven't got any confirmation of my ST yet either...
  7. That's what an academy is for though surely? Look at MU, the last people they had come through the ranks and establish themselves were Giggs, scholes and neville. (Fletcher isn't a cemented starter...yet, i say he's on and off) You can't forget that players like the da silva twins and Anderson are NOT their academy products.
  8. Didn't Bruma only sign a deal last year though? So we should at least get a pretty penny for him
  9. Seems pretty cool, anything that gives them more games is good I spose
  10. They're both from Slovakia right? Or am I wrong there... I love Tore. I'm really glad he made a steady progression into reserve team football too. I have to agree with Esk RE his temper though, he's confident in his ability which is good to have but can cross over to arrogance surely. I don't think any CFC youth player will make it for us but I can see him going on loan next season maybe.
  11. I always called him the ginger Essien lol. Was glad I was there for his last game for us
  12. Look at his career since he left us, he's had to go bottom up, he's not young you know...I would be happy for him but he's played for Leeds and Everton...
  13. Watched it all on telly Really wanted to go but my friend was up in Kent so he couldn't come down, mothers eh? It was so great seeing all the goals pour in yesterday and everyone just having a good day out really
  14. I gave up on our Youth policy last season or the season before I think. I don't hold any hope whatsoever for our youth players to make it to the first team. It's just nicer to watch them play and track them than the first team. So now we're supposed to do what we did with Sturridge, for everyone? Give him 10 mins, everyone sees he needs more, loan him out and then sell him... We would've sold JT if he wanted to leave as well anyway. No hope for our youth, who was the last real MU player to break through from their youth ranks btw?
  15. I think it's just because of their cup, top clubs don't want em as much anymore.
  16. 1:25 in mate Good luck with whatever you get up to Gronkjaer, glad I finally got to see him last season
  17. Goodbye, the fucker did one over on us back in 2008 when he basically made us give him a nice contract or said he would leave. He was a mistake and that's why we let Borini go, fool me once...
  18. Fuck if they want to hit out at us I say, ultimately they're not good enough. Would they get in at any other top teams? No. They've been spoiled by exploits of people like Messi, Fabregas, Rooney and Ronaldo, thinking that when they're at 20 - 22 they should be playing in CL knockout games. EDIT: RE Beckford Just because someone scores against you doesn't mean that they're better than your world class defence. 1. He plays for Everton, our bogey team and we never show up against them in the league. 2) We released him, it gives him that extra fire in his belly to do well against us, it's a small time player mentality
