  1. If you look at the first picture, the tier that appears too far away from the pitch is the one-tier kop style stand, the other 3 are actually close to the pitch.
  2. It's not being ungrateful, I wasn't attacking any current mods. The point is that people shouldn't see this is as an accolade. Especially as it would handicap particular members (LDN take notes), as I've already alluded to. The legend tags were a great way of acknowledging people.. minus the chores. Plus they seperate the spammers/freeposters for newcomers browsing the forum, it would most likely eradicate the problems we've been having on here lately.
  3. Moderator status 'on this forum' restricts what you can say, it would handicap a number of members, myself included. Bring back the Legend tags, award members with recognition.. minus the chores.
  4. Why is being a mod seen as an accolade?, being a 'Legend' is an actual accolade, which is why people resorted to fighting over it, which led to it being scrapped. Being a mod is essentially just 'work', like a job, and you get a really ugly purple badge too.
  5. In regards to the outside, once the surrounding area is redeveloped it 'should' look great.
  6. Only idiots don't want that. It would be pretty ridiculous to sign a player destined for the first team for £30m+, and REFUSE to give him the only first team number available. Raúl's famous number 7 was given to someone else within seconds of him leaving, ffs.
  7. If the odds were 'impossible', why would they release the images on the official site, thus.. getting the fans exited & hopeful, PR disaster.
  8. Grandiose, Mind blowing images, this will be one of the most iconic stadiums in world football. Precisely, if there was no hope for the bid the images would have never been released.
  9. Unfortunately, no, apart from the one that was posted via the official chelsea twitter..
  10. The now famous 1860 Munich dressing room, forever part of Chelsea's history, that.. and Wembley.
  11. So he will miss most of pre-season, the community shield and the preliminary PL games?... Hazard will claim Mata’s role in the squad now then, clearly Juan hasn't thought of that possibility/scenario. Unless the formation is changed accordingly, he could find himself stuck on the wings, unless RDM caters for both of them in an ‘interchanging’ role. Essentially though, we need both of them to gain an understanding with each other before the season, which can't happen now. Shit..
  12. No, not really, he's not a big name over here, I doubt most people have seen him play, other than his cameo appearances for italy. Man-City have been the only club linked with him.
  13. Does anyone know (from an official source) who will be the home team for this?, according to wiki.. it's us. It would be far better to lift a trophy in the new home shirt (if we win), rather than that god awful 'rumoured' black 3rd strip..
  14. As Justin has already alluded to, it actually shows a 'lack' of maturity.. It also shows a lack of class too, underage/young pregnancies are 'mostly' associated with the underbelly of society and the lower classes.
  15. He's already been mentioned a few times already in this thread, but Van der Wiel is a player we must avoid. The Ajax fans I speak to have been giving me nightmares over this guy, worse than Bosingwa. As a rule of thumb.. signing any dutch defensive players should be avoided, substandard by nature with the exception of Jaap Stam.
  16. He got married at 21? Jesus christ..
  17. Then you're really supporting the wrong club here then..
  18. ^ Thankfully we can cross these 4 off the list now, it's a shame about Ballack though. I also created the 'greatest teams never to win it' thread, in which the 2004-2008 sides were mentioned, funny how things work out.. http://forum.talkche...__fromsearch__1
  19. I'm surprised this hasn't been posted already.. http://www.bbc.co.uk...siness-18430036 Due to the new broadcasting rights deal with BT & Sky for the Premier League, the league winners will now receive £120m rather than £60m. So there will be no more worries about FFP when this kicks in, especially for whoever wins it next season. Which could potentially be bad news for foreign clubs, as weaker PL sides can up their wage offer for foreign players, attracting better players to worse teams.
