But I still feel the same way (hypothetically), it's not a knee-jerk. The same applies to if Lampard had joined United.
-
Turn fans against him?, how long have you supported this club?, the 'fans' would back Mourinho regardless. You clearly wasn't a fan of the club during his era, or.. you're about 12 years old. You could watch documentaries about his time here, but you won't be able to understand the 'feeling' of having Mourinho at the helm.
-
It was a game of football, even Torres has more 'power' than Luiz in the dressing room.
-
Yes he WOULD have been a traitor had he gone to United, how many times do I have to explain this?, it's not a hard concept to grasp. It's not 'jumping on the bandwagon', it's a fact that still stands.. hypothetically.
-
People say Luiz is a future captain... can't even get picked above Torres, lmao.
-
When trying to raise awareness of a brand to the american market, it helps if you don't get embarrassed. Luckily we have another game against City in which we can get the last laugh. People who say 'well, it's just a friendly' haven't got their heads screwed on.
-
Coentrao?, I'm more worried about Essien coming back.
-
Objectively, I'd say Zidane because he could do things that were otherworldly, his mind was operating on a completely different level. Personally though, I'd go for this guy..

What happened to B.Jen.. That 'supposed' female member with the topless? avatar...
-
City's shirt looks too continental (their badge/shirt colour) like some random italian or french club, not english.
-
As the most famous member of Talk Chelsea (since BlueLion changed his name to Alex ), I find it odd how these random video creators are calling me "ridiculous" and Henrique a "waste", smh. And yes, Mourinho 'would' have been a traitor, HAD he gone to United.
-
You call Henrique a "waste", you call me (of all people!) "ridiculous".. Who the fuck are you again?
-
2013/14 Man-City shirt.. The texture and the collar are the exact same as the new England shirt.. but in light blue.
-
He initially 'liked' the post, but immediately un-liked it when he saw nono's reaction to it, Lmao. ^ Not the first time he's done that either, for someone who 'supposedly' doesn't care what people think of him, he's pretty self conscious. That's rich.

Seem to be going around in circles in this thread, groundhog day. Already addressed his final season, skip back through the pages. Bitter tears? "every supporter", people were protesting outside the bridge ffs!, clearly you have selective memory. Nobody knows how much control Jose' had over transfers, we had a very naive owner who was new to football club ownership and was 'personal friends' with Shevchenko. Mourinho was denied Waitrose eggs, he probably had more control at Real, especially after Perez was sacking club officials just to keep him happy.
-
If he signed a 20 year contract with no clauses, fine print or loopholes.... Yes.
-
"Vex" the Chelsea fans.. which ones? Anyone who backs Luiz over Mourinho needs to re-evaluate life, regardless of the validity of that article. Mourinho is bigger than any player. He could sell Mata, and have my.. and most Chelsea fans 100% backing.
-
Speaking of which..

1 year ago today I took this image.. and this one..
-
Well, he certainly won't be inheriting a better squad this time around, bar a few.
-
I'd imagine prior to re-appointing him, that the board would 'asses' what went wrong, what went right and why it went sour during his previous stint. Devise an improved working relationship, and work out the best way to go forward.
-
Re-appointing Jose' would certainly suggest so. Roman has different 'advisers' around him now, the Kenyon era is long gone. I think the club actually 'did' see AVB as long term managerial material, he just made it nigh on impossible for them to remain patient with him.
-
Downhill?, lmao.. hardly, it was still early enough in the season and only a very naive owner with no long term project (which Roman proved himself to be through that saga) would sack a manager of Jose's calibre like he did. Or 'treat' a manager the way he did, i.e.. Grants appointment, certain signings forced upon him etc. Only Chelsea fans with extremely short-term mentalities thought the decision was the right one. That's why everyone was in shock, fans protesting outside the bridge etc, still pining for him ever since. If Jose' returns this summer, all will be forgiven though, in regards to Roman.
-
Nope. It was a mind bending decision by the board and down to club ownership naivety, that.. and Roman's broken down relationship with Jose'. Which clearly effected things on the pitch (not enough waitrose eggs were purchased). All in all though, you are going to have 'dips in form' at some point in the season, Jose' could have revived the campaign like Grant Steve Clark did. The sacking itself was shocking (worst moment as a football fan, worse than moscow), fans were crying and protesting outside stamford bridge, The JT fall out was fabricated and he himself denies any rift.
-
True, the boards decision to sack him was so insular, Mourinho was bigger than a 'moment'. You could say the previous seasons accomplishments were the reason for that, however.. Carlo never had that same affinity with the fans, as demonstrated by the lack of uproar. If Jose' had the same season he'd just had at Madrid, 99% of us would still back him.
