    Very debatable. Also, and back to the point.. City winning the Champions league would be a greater achievement than us winning the league. Anything that gets them closer is a bad thing..

    They have a very small squad actually, i.e only 3 forwards.. so first teamers would almost certainly have to play, travel and train with the squad. After all the bullshit and injustices we've been through in the CL, and for City to equal that so easily, it destroys our legacy and makes us just another sugar daddy club.

    Zolayes would rather City be in the Champions league than the Europa league, please explain to me the logic in that?.. other than more prize money, and potentially equaling our record.

    The fans were cheering when they realised Drogba was about to take it, so yes they cared. And it was against Maribor ffs, we were always going to win convincingly. I doubt Mourinho cares, he's just saving face for the media.. wants them to know he's not to be undermined.

    I take it you were in a coma when the Battersea plans were revealed and we found out what the pitch owners and the club had in mind.. The Chelsea pitch owners communicated to the club explicitly that the fans do not want a bowl. When plans (actual images) of a proposed move to Battersea were released the stadium was not a bowl. The club know we don't want a bowl, and the Chelsea pitch owners will see to it that we don't get a bowl. Is this now clear for you now?

    Not in the fashion industry, ex biz student though and somewhat of an entrepreneur, I have a startup.. which involves branding; how design/fonts/colours make people feel etc etc, so I'm conscious of aesthetics 'in general' yea.

    Squad numbers are actually more important than ever, now football is so commerical. Hence why Hazard was not allowed to have 17, and Real Madrid have all their key players/new signings with 11, 10, 8 & 7; Barca with 9, 10 & 11 up top. The number 10 shirt is ok for any forward type player, hence why Rooney wears it.

    Yep, John Stones is a good call. Since they ended up paying so much for Lukaku, you can imagine they'd want quite a lot though.. Fellaini went for shit loads.

    Fly doesn't take up much room and it's centrally aligned, nice font etc, samsung mobile was for only one season. The font turkish airlines uses looks like something from MS Paint.

    When the plans were drawn up for Battersea power station the pictures were not depicting a 'bowl', the club know we don't want a bowl.

    Pretty simple really, as long as they don't use that ugly red bird logo it won't be so bad, there will be less blue on the shirt because of this switch though.. two words instead of one, looks more cluttered.

    Indeed, and it makes the forum look unappealing too. If you're a Chelsea fan browsing the board as a guest and see his posts, you don't join Talk Chelsea.. you go to cfcnet or elsewhere. Worse, is that we attract more posters of the same ilk.

    Under consideration?, I doubt they will rename it completely.. just put a sponsors name in front of it (i.e.. Pepsi presents.. the bernabeu stadium), still bad though.

    As usual? We've finished 6th/3rd/3rd and last season Liverpool were ahead of us, and when we last won the league in 09/10 City were not our main rivals. So how is it 'as usual'?

    It makes sense for 'new' stadiums, but not old ones.. 'Stamford Bridge' is an extension of the Chelsea brand, so it's like renaming the club.
