So last season when we were desperately short of cover, there wasnt any money coming forward and yet this season its not an issue. Funny that! I know they'll say he's a new manager and needs to bring in his own players etc, but it just grates after what went on the same time last year. Another dig? Or maybe just a subtle hint at Roman not to invite any more of his mates over?

I must be missing something then because despite the fact we've been getting the right results, I don't feel confident at all this season, even more so now with Drogba out. I certainly wouldn't say anything about our season has been fantastic. Like I said, in terms of points its looking slightly better but thats more down to Arsenal cocking up in the last couple of games than anything special on our part. We're grinding out results against some pretty poor sides so some might say that nothing's changed under Grant, but for me, there's just something missing this season.

We've got by ok so far and obviously got lucky with Arsenal dropping points so our position is slightly better than it was, but in all fairness we havent really played anyone likely to cause us problems yet. Still think his lack of tactical awareness will get found out, probably starting with a spanking at the weekend.........thats us off Arsenal not him off his missus btw.

That fact that its been started by someone 'pro-Grant' goes to show the cracks are already starting to appear even to those that haven't actually anticipated it all along. I'm not going to say our discipline is necessarily any worse under Grant......it was never that great to start with imo, but considering bad press was another contributing factor to Jose's demise (allegedly), then that's something else Grant hasn't done anything to change.

But firstly, we were sold the line that Roman's problem with Jose was the football wasn't attractive enough and that this would change under Grant (even if most of us knew it wouldnt) and secondly, we havent played anyone of any note yet. What they're conveniently failing to acknowledge is that we're not playing any different, the results aren't any better, we're still off the pace and Grant's still an incompetent twat. Does anyone honestly believe he won't get well and truly found out in the next month or two? Congested fixtures, tougher opposition, injuries, ACON.........

Unless Fergie thinks he's Paul Daniels I really can't see him going for someone like Sheva.
