  1. Of course its not all about spending but the point is they still need a MANAGER!
  2. Muppet of the year? Ugliest face in football? Biggest arse kisser?
  3. Er, we already are.. Ten Cate is starting to look like just another mistake of many. Things havent improved since he arrived and if he cant take the captain pointing it out then its not gonna work long term Well people have been far too easy on Grant all season imo just because we've managed to stay around 3rd spot but tbh my mother couldve achieved the same with that squad. The fact is, if you look back at the results and how we've actually played under Grant's management, it aint pretty. Now the wheels are well and truly coming off his little bandwagon, lets see his reaction - because Ive got a feeling we'll be struggling like hell between now and May if he stays.
  4. Give it to me, Im off to Milan for the weekend - I'll make better use of it. Seriously though, if Roman thinks chucking more money at it is gonna help he's sadly mistaken.
  5. did I miss something? why were they singing that?
  6. One of the reasons Ive despised Grant since day one is because I knew the day would come when he proved what a complete fuck up he is as far as football's concerned and I knew no matter how much I pretended I didnt give a shit as long as he was manager, Id still end up feeling as gutted as I do now. But if Im angry with Grant, its nothing compared to how I feel about Roman for hiring someone so clearly inept in the first place. Is he naive or just completely arrogant? Whichever, its time to prove he really does give a shit less about the club and rectify his mistake.
  7. I'd say the big four domination being broken is a risk we run if Grant stays. For me, his appointment has finally put to bed the age old argument that it takes more than money to be successful in football. If Olympiacos score first? well, if we show the same amount of desire as we did yesterday, we're fucked basically. Who picked the team? who the fuck cares now? whoever it was wants shooting. Is this the beginning of the end for Grant? I should bloody well hope so.
  8. Who the hell would be happy we've been made to look proper mugs? And to them of all people. The anti-Grant amongst us may well have been proved right but it doesnt hurt any less to see our current decline. And whatever way you look at it, thats exactly whats happened, we're taken a backward step this season.
  9. I had high hopes when we brought in Ten Cate, cant see any improvement with him around though. We've gradually got worse as the season's gone on as far as I can see.
  10. I doubt we'd be that lucky, more likely to be another Lampard/Drogba leaving story. Or Roman withdrawing his millions.
  11. Sympathy starts to wane a bit when its turned into the biggest football injury in history for days on end. Yes he sustained a horrible injury but it was an accident ffs, Taylor caught him high with his studs, not a bloody machete. Arsenal need to get a bloody grip. The latest prediction is he could be out for 9 months, so not ideal but luckier than some before him who've never played again. As for Wenger, he needs to learn to either keep his emotions in check or his mouth shut because his public condemnation was totally out of order. He can retract whatever the hell he likes but it doesnt change the fact it was seen and heard by millions in the first place.
  12. Why exactly has it taken for us to lose in a final for people to realise he was never the man for the job? some of us have been slated this season for sticking to our guns and not giving him a chance, but I guess at least we were less shocked by yesterdays result than others. Personally, I fully expected to lose, just as I expect to win nothing else as long as that retard's in place. I hope the Russian's happy with the mess HE is solely responsible for this season. Yes he may well have ploughed millions into Chelsea but until he accepts he cocked up big time, giving a retard the job of managing his investment, we will remain the laughing stock he's made us.
  13. Is he fucking serious here? Has he forgotten the point is to actually WIN things and that his predecessor did that? Moron.
  14. Seriously is anyone that shocked by this? I said when Grant took over he'd win sweet fuck all and I havent changed my mind yet. We're well off the pace in the league, and if he's that clueless against the yids in the CC, then I really cant wait to see his reaction against a decent side in the CL. He's a fuckwit. Case closed.
  15. I think they're doing a right job on Taylor, by not showing any replays they're making the whole incident seem even worse. As its already been pointed out there's been plenty of injuries in the past they've happily shown on a loop for days, so why all the cloak and dagger stuff now? Wenger I think is a bloody disgrace, irrespective of whether he's unhappy about the injury/challenge, etc, a manager of his standing has absolutely no right to publicly judge, convict and pass sentence on a professional footballer. As for Gallas, well, we all knew he was a complete and utter self-centred prick and his behaviour today in the face of what had happened just summed him up.
  16. Kiss of death coming out and saying he's scored in the other finals.
  17. Wasnt he saying all last season he'd sort the contract in the summer and it didnt happen? Am I the only one pissed off with him for stalling? If he's so bloody committed to us then why has it taken him so long to put pen to paper, leaving himself in a position where he can buy himself out and screw us over in the process? Yeah Ive heard him commit himself verbally plenty of times, but talk is cheap.
  18. Forward usually, occasionally centre midfield.
  19. There's plenty of places to drink but Cambridge is just a nightmare tbh, everythings too spread out and you end up walking miles, usually with a bike riding into your backside every 2 minutes.
  20. Cheers, dunno about Chelsea though..........depends how much theyre paying
  21. I feel sorry for him, he's such a troubled bloke. Classic bi-polar Ive always thought. Shame he'll end up paying a fortune for that diagnosis, he could read it on here for free.
  22. Quick update.........we've been told tonight he's got through his trials and they've signed him on for their youth side. They come over to us at the end of his training session tonight and said to him "You now play for Cambridge Utd"......I was nearly in bloody tears I was so proud.
