Boo bloody hoo. The private jet to get him back home wasn't supportive enough? Spoilt brat.
-
If this is true, then it serves the stroppy little fucker right.

Same shit, different season. WTF was Scolari thinking leaving Ballack on the bench and playing the blue-eyed boy? He's fucking useless. And as for taking Cole off for Kalou, that was just a joke. Scolari's substitutions need some serious questioning. Deco was fucking shite and still he wont take him off. Fuck all for Chelsea again this season.

fucking stupid links

Fulham's form isnt bad this season. I cant see any reason why we should expect to beat them.
-
I reckon it'll be about as beneficial as the last one.
-
According to Wilkins it was meant to be a 4-3-3 with Cole and Anelka either side of Didier. No wonder Anelka looked a bit all over the place at times, I not convinced Scolari had actually told any of them what the formation was.
-
Totally got me on that one. Sounded like it was meant to be 4-4-2 but didnt actually look like it.
-
No point appealing. Dowd might have been a bit quick off the mark with ared, but its still a red he was perfectly entitled to give. Some refs might not have seen it as a red but to be honest, Terry gets away with this sort of challenge more often than not, so we cant really complain.

Didn't like the Delle Alpi anyway, not that the Olimpico is any better. In fact, Turin's just bloody horrible, lol.

Chelsea made a rod for their own back by giving the senior players ridiculous amounts of money in the first place and now anyone they want to keep will have to be offered similar amounts because you can bet your arse if Chelsea didnt offer Mikel a big enough contract then another club certainly would. Good move on Chelsea's part making sure they hang on to a player like Mikel.

Sounds a bit paranoid maybe, but I really think there was an agenda for the draw this season. Uefa seem to have done very nicely out of it anyway.
-
Was too busy at work to see the draw and when I got a text, my first thought was its totally fixed. I know there's only good sides in it and the way they set the draw up, these sort of draws are always a possibility, but its just iffy. Inter v United - Mourinho v Fergie again, what a great publicity spinner that is. Juve v Chelsea - Old boss v New boss, another shitload of publicity. Not forgetting these two draws definitely have the potential of seeing a couple of English sides go out. Mourinho always knew how to play Fergie's sides and with us away to Juve in the second leg, I can honestly see us going out at this stage. Although if I'm honest, I can't see anything other than a United win. I know the dippers have got Real but they're far from a form side, so the scousers should spawn it and Arsenal's draw against Roma looks easy enough for them on paper (although I've got a feeling they'll go out as well). Either way, Uefa are happy though - shitloads of publicity and a decent chance to get rid of at least a couple of PL sides in the next round.

Have to agree with that Elliot. As it stands now, with all the direct quotes from him, it looks as if he's going. I suppose we shouldve guessed he didnt really fancy the job when he wanted to turn around at the airport. If he's ready to go so soon, without any fight for a place at all, then fuck him, we dont need him. Mind you, whats with all this about Roman's involvement? Why doesnt the bloke just whack a donkey jacket on and get his arse on the touchline every week ffs?

Drogba?
-
LMAO. you're right though, I wouldnt want to go back to that permanently but we know its effective so fuck it, at home just go back to doing what works.
-
I'd written about this earlier and I think Scolari's as blind as a bat if he can't see we have to change our formation at home. It's impossible for Anelka to be up front on his own at home when his game relies heavily on his pace - thats not a luxury he's afforded against teams parking the bus. Why we started with Drogba on the bench yesterday is a mystery - Scolari's seen the formation hasn't worked at home all season so why stick with it? I'd go 4-4-2 at home. Usual back 4 of Bosingwa, Terry, Alex and A Cole because we haven't got a choice with Carvalho out. Mikel in front of the back four in a diamond with Ballack and Lampard either side and Joey sat in behind Anelka and Drogba. I know Ballack's been a bit off his game lately but I'd still stick with him for now. I wouldn't even consider Malouda and Kalou because theyre bloody useless and as for Deco at home he's a total waste of space, he just doesn't fancy these games where he's hassled a bit and doesn't get as much time and space.

The votes are in and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who voted. I bloody won!!
-
Yay, we're away again! Thank god for that.
-
I don't think we'd be struggling at home like this if we still had Clarkey. I think Wilkins is too much of a 'yes' man.
-
Spot on, although I think we shouldnt rush out and get another striker when we havent even given Anelka and Drogba a proper shot at it together. Pushing Anelka out wide isnt the way to go at home, we should play 4-4-2. Im glad you said that about Mikel, I thought he was probably our best player out there today and I really dont think his contribution gets the recognition it deserves. For a 21 year old to be asked to fill Maka's boots and to come in and do the job he has is just brilliant.
-
Scolari's learned fuck all from our woeful home form this season. Its alright playing 4-3-3 away when teams have to attack us more and we get to play about a bit. We cant try and walk it into the net at home though. When Anelka came on I thought Scolari would finally have a go at 4-4-2 but he just doesnt seem to get it. To think even Avram bloody Grant did better than this at home last season - its a joke.
-
Be interesting to see what happens here. If its true it'd be a bit of a shock but I still cant see the point in Chelsea making him stay.
-
This bloke's got some front. Does he honestly think it makes him sound less clueless by saying he told Anelka he didnt need him? Surely the fact that Anelka is scoring this season shows him something? He'll be out of work a lot longer with this sort of statement. Total dick.
