  1. Talk about giving them any more motivation... Jesus Christ. Azpi is having a fucking mare.
  2. Costa does what Dembele has done there = INSTANT BAN. Probably for 3+ games. Wait till you see the FA with their hands in their pockets after this game. Cunts.
  3. Looks like Willian, Costa and Fabregas are the only ones who give a fuck. Willian shows the Tottenham fans the champions badge, hero. Pitty it doesn't mean much now though.
  4. Delighted it looks like we're getting him. An upgrade on Ramires for sure. That's the thing though, we're replacing Ramires really. I still think we need another midfielder. It looks like Conte prioritises his midfield, so a squad of Fabregas, Matic, Radja, RLC and at least another top midfielder would be great. Hopefully, Oscar is sold for some funds. Barca should be in for Mikel too...
  5. A top,top CB should be first priority in the summer. No more links with likes of Djilobodji, Hector or the imposter Stones. An experienced top CB ala Godin/Bonucci please.
  6. Yeah, because Ivanovic has always been a free kick specialist....
  7. Christ Begovic. Not really staking a claim for next season with performances like this.
  8. Haha, fuck off Ivanovic. Wants to take the free just because he's captain. Like a kid at a playground.
  9. No. My short answer is that If we didn't give talents like Lukaku, KDB and Bertrand a fair run in the team before shipping them out, then our youth has no chance in hell of dominating anything. On a positive note, this mainly revolved around Mourinho's 'get the title ASAP and fuck the future' policy. A few may bleed into the first team in the coming years if Conte decides it, but it also has a lot to do with the board's mentality towards wanting to win trophies vs. wanting the academy to pay off...
  10. Guarin, 100% : http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/transfer-news-chelsea-on-the-verge-of-completing-fredy-guarin-deal-9013263.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-transfer-target-fredy-guarins-3015810 Martinez, we've been linked consistently since 2013: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2601693/Porto-goal-machine-Jackson-Martinez-monitored-Premier-League-giants-Manchester-United-Chelsea.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-talks-over-jackson-martinez-2858304 http://en.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/257769.html
  11. Well I know that De Bruyne has the most assists (26) out of the top European leagues since 2014. Messi is second with 22... Every game that De Bruyne plays makes us look even more foolish, when it was Mourinho who was the real fool. He sold our future for one title; a title win which was built on a foundation of shite (which he ensured to destroy before leaving). http://www.skysports.ie/football/news/11662/10103753/mesut-ozil-v-kevin-de-bruyne-the-key-battle-when-arsenal-face-manchester-city
  12. Lol, fuck you Mourinho, seriously. What a fucking idiot. De Bruyne was like a hot knife through butter leading up to some of those goals. A ready-made replacement for Lampard in his prime. An even worse transfer story then Torres - and I mean that. I think Mourinho is now way too cowardly to play attacking players like De Bruyne. Since Madrid, he'd rather hide behind players who will 'work-hard' for him, yet still throw those same players under a bus at first sight of not getting his way in a transfer window. Unbelievable.
  13. Any team would, but we're not getting him. The only way we would is if it was some sort of Hazard swap deal, and these types of deals never happen. Besides, who else in the Columbian team? Bacca? Too old and expensive. Can't even think of anyone else.
  14. Actually, we should be banned from signing Columbians, because we clearly only seem to want the shite ones: We wanted Guarin: Where is he now? Exactly. We wanted Martinez: Where is he now? Exactly. We got Cuadrado: The equivalent of Bambi on ice in the PL. We got Falcao: I don't even need to say anything.
  15. As much I usually agree with you, I have to completely disagree with this one. Mourinho forced the KDB sale by refusing to play him - it's 90% on Mourinho. It's clear from the interviews that KDB is very much a confidence player who needs to feel wanted but KDB himself has said that Mourinho wouldn't even speak to him - he wouldn't even tell him why he wasn't in the team. I'm sorry, but that is fucking atrocious management; especially considering the boy is now being considered as one of the best two-footed players in the game right now. Now, I know I was also saying how much the board was at fault for our current position, but that was because they replaced these players very poorly. In KDB's case, maybe the board could've tried to send him on loan instead of sell him, but, in all honesty, WTF would've been the point in that when they and KDB knew the manager wanted nothing to do with him? In KDB's mind he was never getting a chance at Chelsea under Mourinho, so what was the point in staying at Chelsea? Maybe if Mourinho bothered to do some actual man management and encouraged him in some form, he may have stayed on the books someway, but he didn't.
  16. End product where exactly?! Because you're certainly not talking about as CAM. Yes, he has problems on the wing, but only a fool would play him there instead of CAM. That's funny, because the United fans I speak to say that Mata dances all over Rooney in terms of the CAM role but he is barely played there.... If I'm comparing Willian's best season with Mata's, also meaning that both are played consistently and in their favoured positions (which has only happened 1 time for Mata), Mata is better at: 1. Goals. 2. Assists. 3. Set-piece delivery (remember when we actually scored from corners? Yeah, Mata was a big factor in that.) Just imagine for a moment that Mata's momentum from 12/13 was not completely derailed by José arrival and the inexplicable Oscar love-in. Imagine the roles were reversed and Oscar was sold for quite a sum instead. Now, picture Mata being covered by Matic behind him and Willian on the right. Not to mention having a manager that actually inspires confidence in him, something José or Van Gaal did/do not do. Not thinking that Mata would have the ability to flourish and at least match, or surpass, his achievements in 12/13 in such a system is pretty narrow-minded. Not only this, considering he had 6 goals and 5 assists in 15 appearances under Moyes, a manager who clearly wanted him, it's all enough to even consider the possibility of what could have been if he was given an equal chance. Besides, I haven't a clue why you're dragging Willian into this. If Mata was here, they would be in different positions - CAM vs. RW. It's not a like-for-like replacement; one is more effective in the final third while the other is not as effective but is harder-working. I would rather compare Mata with Fabregas in terms of what they're supposed to bring to the team. I'm going into the nuances of it, but essentially Mata is the better player in terms of consistent creativity, set-piece delivery and goal-scoring ability. Mata has shown that he can contribute consistently throughout a season in his first two seasons. The only thing that is consistent about Cesc is that he goes missing for half a season - always has, always will. And when he does that, he's practically useless. Listen, all I know is which I prefer out of: Mata Oscar Matic - Ramires vs. Matic - Fabregas
  17. Has a bad game every now and then, but you can't blame him with this defence really! Surprised he hasn't been worse this season to be honest. It's the consistently shite/passive players like Oscar, Mikel and Ivanovic who need to go, like, last season.
  18. Who is this even referring to? KDB? He did very well at Bremen and was touted as Lampard's replacement since he was signed. No, Mourinho is. That was supposed to be his job. He wanted nothing to do with KDB and Lukaku, this is clear to anyone. Mourinho was practically handed Belguim's golden generation of a silver fucking platter, Hazard, KDB, Lukaku, Courtois, and he sold half of it because he just wanted the title ASAP - no long term plan whatsoever. If he did have one, he'd still be here and he wouldn't have been crying about wanting Pogba to add to his title-winning squad. He could've at least TRIED with KDB and Lukaku but he didn't care. We are where we are now because the board replaced those quality players that Mourinho didn't want with those of poor quality. Not to mention the fact that Mourinho practically threw the entire squad under a bus when he didn't get a Pogba/Stones (and his antics), deflating key players like Costa, Fabregas, Matic, Hazard etc.
  19. Navas is a great shout to be fair. Don't think he would take much off our price tag either considering he's pushing 30.
  20. Stoke will want around £30m most likely (Chelsea tax + young English player tax), taking the vast majority of the Courtois fee if so. Begovic is fine for now. Other areas of the squad are in desperate need of investment by comparison. At least 2 defenders, a striker, a midfielder (or two) should all be priorities ahead of a costly goalkeeper in my opinion.
  21. Exactly. Everyone is shit today, but seeing Oscar just annoys me more than the rest. He just embodies everything that was wrong with Mourinho's philosophy: 'I'll pick this guy because he runs around a bit'. Yeah? In that case, I hear Lee Cattermole and George Boyd are looking for a new club...for fuck sake. This is what happens when you pick a player purely because he puts effort in - what happens when he doesn't give a fuck anymore? You have nothing left whatsoever. No talent to fall back on. Screw natural talent though. Who cares about an attacking midfielder worth £50m+ playing for our rivals and scoring almost every second game.
  22. Anytime I see Oscar do stupid shit I just think of things like KDB banging them in for City against PSG. He needs to fuck off. He's like a bad smell left from Mourinho's second stint.
  23. WTF is Oscar even doing on the pitch? Are we trying to raise his price by playing him or something? Because it's having the opposite effect. Any of Willian, Kennedy or Traore instead. Christ, I'd take Azpi on the wing over Oscar.
  24. Do you think we were the only ones in for Hazard, Courtois and KDB? Were these gems that the board uncovered? Not a chance. They were being courted by some big clubs as well, only a fool would think otherwise. It's all well and good saying who we were after this summer, but it makes no difference because they aren't here. The real difference maker here is that the likes of Falcao, Pato, Hector, Djilobodji, etc. were not being courted by big clubs (for a reason) yet we ended up with them anyway. Players who aren't good enough from a board who didn't perform adequetely enough. So in case you haven't noticed, the more recent trend from the board has been not to replace like-for-like. The overall strength of the squad has been downgraded; compare our current squad with 13/14. This means that our position now is the failure of both Mourinho AND the board. However, only one of these parties was fired for doing a shit job.
